I’m deeply disappointed with the level of customer service. The agents seem completely unable to understand even basic issues, which leads to repeated mistakes that only make things worse. Instead of resolving the problem, they create more confusion, leaving you with no choice but to try and call to speak to someone directly.
Even then, getting a proper resolution feels impossible. You’re passed around, given unclear answers, and when you ask to escalate the issue, there are conveniently no supervisors available. It’s incredibly frustrating and feels like there’s no accountability at all.
For a company of this size, the lack of effective support is honestly shocking. Customers shouldn’t have to chase solutions this hard or deal with such poor communication. A serious improvement in training, communication, and escalation processes is urgently needed.

I wanted to watch a film so I re subscribed only to find when I had paid that the film was locked. I understand if some films cannot be watched on the cheapest option but it seems almost fraudulent not to show this on the title before payment. On research this has been going on for a while and I will not rejoin Netflix until they behave ethically and state this clearly. I gave a 1 star as they did give me a refund on complaining and no stars are not an option on Trustpilot which it should be!!

I used Netflix back when you had to order a disc! Oh the good old days. When it transitioned to streaming it went nuclear, had so much to choose from. Now it does what any other production company does. Green lights a new IP or uses a very well known one, then cans it. I feel as of 2026, it cans the best things it ever backed. Mindhunter, Cowboy Bebop, Kaos, Archive 81 and The Sinner...that's just the ones that spring to mind. Now it's the same tired old BS you'd find on terrestrial channels: dramas and cringe fake reality. Greed takes over the creative process. I've since downgraded to ad-based and the audio/video sync fails every time. Can't even manage the basics now. Such a huge fall.

Awful soundtrack, lots of foreign dubbed rubbish, poor cheap productions, Paramount UK a little better at the moment. I am probably going to cancel if Netflix UK doesn't improve.

Netflix was a "freebie" - i will never pay for it
Netflix came as a freebie with our Virgin package. After Netflix pestered me by SMS text for a couple of weeks I decided to try Netflix. What a completely bananas registration system. Initial messages were by SMS text, switching to web links, then repeatedly back to text or email for frequent multi-step verfication. At one point CAPCHA was used - it's probably the world's worst verification system, much too small to see on a mobile screen. Setting up a password could not display the password, and there was no second entry to verify the password. A recipe for never knowing your password. Netflix insist on creating a profile of who will be watching. This includes picking 3 preferred films from a limited list. There was not an option "none of the above". I've never watched Netflix, and even with a freebie version I do not intend to start now.

Issue resolved!
I had an issue with a payment which shouldn't have been taken because my subscription is through Virgin Media. The young lady was extremely helpful and sorted the problem straight away.
The call was answered quickly too. Great service.
FAULTY STREAMING
There is an intermittent problem with Netflix streaming that seems to involve data compression issues.
Certain scenes are corrupted by a pixellated mesh overlay and numerous attempts to get Customer Service to investigate this have led to a runaround. The tech support team were not contacted to look into these glitches and I was told to contact the TV manufacturer as a typical Netflix cop-out. Netflix is the ONLY channel that has this problem on my TV and they are doing absolutely nothing to resolve it. I am certain that I am not the only customer to have this experience. This has been going on for months now.
Theft from my bank account
I am extremely disappointed with Netflix. Over the course of just a few days, there were three separate unexpected charges to my bank account. This caused serious problems for me while I was away and trying to pay for a hotel I was due to stay in. The repeated payments nearly emptied my account and left me in a very stressful situation.
Whether this was a billing error or a system issue, the impact on me was significant. I expect a company of this size to have accurate and secure billing systems in place. Having to deal with multiple unexpected transactions in such a short period is unacceptable and has damaged my trust in the service.
I hope this issue is investigated properly and resolved quickly, because no customer should have to deal with financial disruption like this.
High and increasing prices
Netflix prices are a joke as you pay £5.99 a month which is a rip off you got many apps you watch movies or videos free of charge and you can be on it as long as you want. i am quite disappointed for these ridiculous prices.
Fraudulently took money from my account
Kept my bank details and then randomly helped themselves to my money without permission after 18 months 14 days.
When complaining on the phone each agent had a different story.
The last agent i spoke with said yes we will only refund 4 payments not the 8 total. We would have refunded all but you called your bank.
What kind of playground attitude is that?
Netflix have committed fraud and are now being referred to the police.

You done this with multiple shows.
