I was very impressed with my recent experience when Dolphindevon installed a stairlift. My cottage has narrow steep stairs with a bend and overhanging ceiling. Ben and Lee did a brilliant job, with little disturbance and no mess. They were polite and careful and explained everything to me. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

My engineer phoned to tell me who would be visiting. He was polite, kind and spent a good amount of time ensuring the stairlift was operational and working to it's best. The full service includes a clean (which was more required in the areas that I could not reach - pet hair had got under the casing out of reach!). All in all a great experience and your engineer should be thanked for his professional attitude.

They answered my initial enquiry straight away and the engineer came the next day. They are always very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient.

Our staircase was a particularly tricky circular staircase in a listed building . The Instaler Lee went to exceptional lengths to retain our handrail to maintain safety for non chair users . He did an absolutely first rate job and I could not praise him highly enough for his efforts . I have no hesitation in giving Dolphin the highest marks for the whole package .

Arrived quickly to repair lift efficiently

My parents are 90 and 91 and with no toilet or bed down stairs the quick service is great.

Two years ago, three well-known companies refused to install a stair lift in our home. The problems they could not deal with were:
• The house was over a century old.
• The stairway up three floors was too steep.
• The stairway was too narrow.
Then a surveyor/engineer came from Dolphin Stair Lifts. He examined every inch of the three-floor stairway. He agreed to go ahead. His meticulous survey and plan was perfect. We could not express our appreciation enough. Now it has been working for two years every single day, and sometimes several times a day; again perfect. Yesterday a vacuum cleaner tube rolled into the path of the stair-lift and it stopped working.
After a 'phone call to Dolphin, in less than an hour a young engineer arrived. He had to replace a broken part and then he gave it a full service and greased the mechanism afresh. Result: Perfect. It is as good as new. We happily paid just £68 for the replaced parts and paid for the approaching third year annual service. They will not have to send out another team member to do an annual check.

Obviously, I feel that Dolphin Stair Lifts deserve everyone’s attention. I completely trust their extraordinary skill, the straightforward very safe chair, the perfect mechanism and design and their overall excellence.

Engineer was nice and polite shame the lady on accounts was not received bill very quite after his visit I was never told that there were batteries in the remote yet I looked and read the manual was told the men who fitted the did not have to show me how to use it not their job for nearly £9000 not good contact the manufacturer because it’s not in their booklet
The indoor lift had dirt in an odd place yet was cleaned prior to the visit I had previously been told not to touch certain parts of the rail I was told because I had had the problem for some time I should have called right away instead of trying all options 1st which I had done to no avail as it was intermittent and in my option even small power cuts the lady in question needs lessons in customer relations

Lovely people on the end of the phone, prompt service, excellent engineers. Left the job, after servicing, all clean and tidy. Couldn’t ask for more, good job all round.

Dolphin stairlift provided good advice without trying to inflate the price. The installation engineer was meticulous and explained everything once he had finished. The price was very reasonable. All in all a very positive impression of the company was gained.
