Fast and effective, not the cheapest but I was made aware of the costs before they even came. Arrived within 2 hours of my first call and cleared the blockage within 30 minutes.

Excellent service
The pipe flowing from my upstairs toilet past the basin into the stack had a blockage. Multiple attempts to unblock using a toilet plunger failed as did efforts by a plumber. I found Drain Division online and sent an enquiry. Chloe responded quickly and was friendly and helpful. Dave and Jaimie came out today and were punctual. They were able to sort out the problem with a water pressure jet fed through the toilet. They were both friendly and helpful. I had previously received a quote from a different pipe drainage company for three times the final price from Drain Division. Plus this other drainage company wanted to uninstall the whole toilet. Very glad I found Drain Division

The Company responded quickly.

I had to have a drain survey and one…
I had to have a drain survey and one broken out and replaced. All now done and back to normal. No hassle and a prompt service. The only negative is that it was rather expensive 😭

Unfortunately the system required an excavation to investigate further, following an issue with subsidence, and revealed some problems which were out of your responsibility on a shared asset. We consider our prices to be competitive but always provide a full report detailing advised works which ensures the customer is able to shop around for competitive estimates. We are pleased that you considered the works to be hassle free and prompt and your comments have been passed to the engineers.

£650 for a job that was not very long. Arrived at 13:15. Left at 14:42. One and a half hour job as printed on the job sheet. Far more expensive than what was hinted at when making an appointment. Beware.

We are unable to find any details of any job. Could you please provide us with a job number or postcode so that we can see if you are a customer and investigate further.
Thank you for providing more details so we could find your booking. On calling Drain Division you said that the manhole was blocked and you believed that there was a build-up of scale. You said the drain required high pressure jetting. You were quoted the rates for 1/2 hour of jetting and you booked an engineer to call the next day. (We do record all calls and I am happy to send you the sound file of the job booking).
When the engineer arrived he further explained the cost and gained your signature in agreement prior to any works. We do ensure that every customer is fully aware of all charges and if at anytime they are not happy they can decline the call out or refuse to sign the invoice to agree the rates.
You requested the call out and signed in agreement of the rates, so the engineer started work, jetting through the drains removing large quantities of scale build-up. Once clear and the drain was running free, the drain was checked for defects with a CCTV camera at your request. There was a further blockage found downstream which was beyond your boundary and the engineer advised that you should contact the water board to clear.
The engineer was on site for 2 hours and calculated the invoice using the rate which had been quoted and agreed.
You state that it was far more expensive than was hinted at! There was no hints, the exact cost was told to you and you requested that the works were carried out.
The drain was cleared, advise was given to contact the water board for further problems outside of your responsibility. The scale was removed from the drain and left working and running free.

Quick, efficient and polite
The service was quick and efficient, and the engineer, Tom, was polite and informative throughout. The appointment was carried out swiftly and the costs kept to a minimum. Tom was very happy to explain what the problem was and explained what might be needed if the problem reoccurs.

Working in a GP surgery our patient toilets became blocked so after a search on google I came across Bristol Drainage I called them and they were initially helpful on the phone stating the prices and that someone could come out today. I just needed quotes first so I said I would call them back if we would like to go ahead. Called them back and was advised someone would be out that day.... the day went on and it was getting close to closing so I called them and they rearranged their engineer for the next day. When 2 engineers turned up the following day they asked if we had any outside water taps... we didn't so they went on a hunt but couldn't find any or use our kitchen taps. They then informed me that they would go to their next job and fill up with water and come back and would call me when they were on their way. This seemed reasonable but as the day went on I did not receive a call and they did not come back. When I called the office the next morning they said they would look into whats going on and call me straight back. Within 5 minutes they called me back to inform me that they could not do the job as there was no access to water. I then said I was told that they were going to fill up the tank on the van and come back so why would they say that if they couldn't do it? The lady on the phone said she will look into it and get back to me... over an hour passed with no call back so I rang back only to be told that I would have to go elsewhere as they could not do the job! Ridiculous! So that was 2 days wasted.
Surely for a drainage company who need water this should be the first question you ask a customer when they call up to make a booking? And again I appreciate carrying water all the time will use more fuel but there must be certain jobs where water is not available and a solution would be needed.
Anyway I ended up calling another company, advised them that we had no water source and they came out within 3 hours and unblocked our toilets no issues!!!

We do expect every property we attend (except some construction sites/new builds) to have water. It isn't a question we ask. We would certainly expect a doctor's surgery to have access to water. The engineers were attending the first day but you were the ones who moved the booking to the following day as you wanted to close.
The following day the engineers arrived and explained the need for water. The staff were rude, abrupt and unhelpful. Our engineers even went next door to the care/residential home to ask if they could connect the hose to the outside tap. They point blank refused. With this refusal and the unhelpfulness at the surgery, the engineers felt they had tried every option and had no choice but to leave site.
The following morning when you called, you were informed that if you could ask your neighbours if we could use their tap we would be able to attend. You didn't want this option.
It is not a case of the vans running without water to save fuel, it is illegal as it exceeds payload restrictions. A tank of water would be used within 5 minutes whilst jetting. As you can see from our 632 reviews with a score of 4.6/5 Excellent, we do offer a good service. Unfortunately on this occasion, we were unable to. No invoice was raised for the hour spent on site or payment taken.
