Both myself and my husband and our 2 kids travelled to Istanbul in November of 2019. We initially wanted to do hair transplant for my husband but Dr Erkam gave us a good deal so I got some grafts to bring my hairline down. Dr Erkam is very kind and knowledgeable and answered all our questions prior to arriving in Turkey. Mr Emir was the driver who picked us up from the airport and he was very professional and fluent in English which made communication very easy. The nurses at the hospital who assisted in the surgery were absolutely amazing, no words can describe their patience, kindness, detail and precision. It is now 6 months post surgery and we have incredible results and we are both extremely happy. Thank you so much Dr Erkam and team for making this an incredible, pain free and awesome experience.

Hello! I am from Germany and I have just completed a hair transplant surgery at Hair Istanbul Clinic with Dr. Erkam and his team. First I should admit that this is the 2nd time I am doing the surgery because the 1st one I did was one year ago with a different doctor and for some reasons the hair density was below 70%. So when I started talking to Dr. Erkam during the last few months in 2019, he encouraged me to do a second transplant. Throughout the months and talks with Dr. Erkam I realized that he is very knowledgeable and knows every bit and piece of the field. So I decided to do the second one with Dr. Erkam this time but at the same clinic. He even offered me a full package (airport pick, hotel reservation, consultation, blood test, 4000 grafts implantation, all medical treatment after the surgery, shampoo, a translator and other things) plus a generous discount just to compensate for the expenses of the first surgery.
Few days before I even arrived to Istanbul, the driver Mr. Emir called me on the phone to ensure that he will be waiting for me. Here I should admit that I found Mr Emir to be a very polite and very professional person and his English is excellent. He has always been reachable on the phone, punctual, and very helpful.
The day of the operation, Dr. Erkam and Mr. Mustapha ( the translator who is a young motivated and very nice person) greeted me in the office at the clinic and had a look at my head and called on a second doctor who was a highly skilled one (unfortunately I did not get his name because he did not speak English). Both doctors examined my head and explained to me all the procedures (which I was already familiar with). We started the operation at 9:45 am and we finished at 22:00. So it took more than 12 hours. Yes, it was long and very tiring, which got me sometimes stressed and anxious. After the blood test, Dr. Erkam started the channel opening which lasted more than 2hours and half. After that, I was served lunch, and two other assistants and the previous doctor joined doctor Erkam. So the team was composed of two doctors two assistants and a translator. This shows that they take their job seriously and pay so much attention to tiny details. Sometimes they would take turns for short breaks in order to gain back their focus.
After the surgery was over, I was served tea, and I was really happy to see how clean and neat the transplants were put: no scars, no blood, everything looked nice. This made me very relieved comparing it with the first surgery. Before I was picked up by the driver to go to the hotel, Dr. Erkam gave me all the medications and explained to me how to use them. He also subscribed extra pilled against swelling. The third day, I got picked up again to the clinic for the first wash, which was done by Dr. Erkam. Finally and after saying good buy to everyone, Dr. Erkam surprised me with a gift: a 3 month supplement sets with shampoo, pills and sprays that costs 400 Euro (about 450 USD). I was really speechless!
In short, my second experience in hair transplant with Dr. Erkam was highly satisfactory. I do really appreciate his kindness, support, modesty and care of his patients. I would like also to thank all his team members, including Mr. Emir, Mr. Mustapha, the other doctor and the two assistants. I would like also to say that the clinic is very nice, clean and located in a convenient area in the European side of Istanbul. The only thing I wished for is that both Dr. Erkam and the other team member would speak more English. This would have made communication easier and I am sure I could have learned a lot more from them if they spoke fluent English. However, this should not discourage anyone from taking the initiative and going for the surgery; and I highly recommend Dr. Erkam and his team to anyone who is thinking of hair transplant!

Hello everyone, I want to start out by saying that this is a true review which took me four month post surgery to finally write. It took me four months because I wanted to give an honest review of my results so far and experience.
I flew from the United States into Istanbul Turkey four months and a week ago. I have to say that I had my worries about going to Istanbul as anyone would traveling to a foriegn country, however, once I landed I had nothing but a great experience from the moment I was picked up at the airport till the day of my departure.

As far as the surgery. I was going very bald and needed after consulting in person with Dr. Erkam CAYMAZ and his staff, they recommend that I needed approximately 5,500 grafts. After the one on one consultation, Dr. CAYMAZ made all the channels using the sapphire blade. Once complete his staff took over implanting the hair stems. The staff was very professional during the many hours of surgery.

Once I arrived back to the states, I was once again very worried of what my progress would look like, however, after four months and a week since my surgery I have to honestly say WOW. What an amazing result I am starting to see in the short time. I have followed every recommendation from Dr.CAYMAZ and he has answered all my question post surgery in a timely fashion. I 100% recommend Dr. CAYMAZ and will gladly be reposting a review in the months to follow. Thank you Dr. CAYMAZ, you have brought back my confidence.

İch habe Ende Januar 2019 meine Haartransplantation in der Klinik machen lassen. Das Resultat ist Klasse. Mir wurden insgesamt 6500 grefts eingepflanzt.

Der Kontakt zur Klinik lief reibungslos. Nach der Übermittlung der Flugdaten wurde mir eine Bestätigung vom hotel zugesendet. Am tag der Anreise (mit 1 Stunde Flug Verspätung) wurde ich vom Klinik Personal empfangen und ins Hotel gebracht. Am nächsten Tag war dann auch schon die OP.
Was ich evtl. Bemängele bzw. Auch verstehen kann, ist das man nach der OP sich das Frühstück besser ins Zimmer bestellen sollte.
