Drewmatic Automatic Driving School Reviews 

Passed first time learning with Clint through DrewMatic. He is an amazing and patient driving instructor, each lesson he made my nerves feel at ease.

I cannot reccomend this driving school enough!!

After really struggling learning manual and feeling like I was getting nowhere, I was recommended DrewMatic, specifically the instructor Craig Pattinson, by my Aunty who also learned from Craig.

Contacting Craig was the best thing I ever did - he is the nicest, most patient & supportive driving instructor I could have asked for. Craig made me feel at ease, was patient and helped me understand things that just weren’t clicking previously. He really improved my confidence and was a genuine joy to learn with. As a result I went from someone who felt anxious and almost didn’t want to learn, to someone who enjoyed her lessons, felt happy and confident driving, and went on to pass her test first time (with only 1 minor).

I truly believe I couldn’t have done it without him, and I can’t thank or recommend him enough :) I will miss our driving lessons!

Passed my test today with Jim, he was really supportive throughout the full experience,from lessons to the test. Everything was made positive even when things weren’t going as planned! Can’t thank him enough for getting me through it all, Thank you again jim!

I was fortunate enough to have lessons with Three different instructors at DrewMatic and I can't speak highly enough of all three of them.

I was initially put in contact with Lyndsay who fully taught me to drive in a couple of months - I had never even attempted to drive before getting in her car, and she built up my driving confidence and ability quickly. I looked forward to all of my lessons with her and only ended up moving to another instructor as she went on Maternity.

I then had a one off lesson with Tony as I was nearing my test and eager to fit in as many lessons as possible. Again, like Lyndsay he was absolutely wonderful. At this point I could drive but wanted as much practice before my test so he spent the lesson providing advice on any areas I felt I needed and teaching me some more specific skills that could help in tests and in life after I've passed. I would have happily continued on with him but I got a last minute test during his Holiday time and within half and hour he had arranged for a new instructor to take me for lessons leading up to it.

For my final few lessons I was with Jim, who yet again, was absolutely great. Not only was he delightful and interesting but he also spent these extra lessons tightening up my skills and building up my confidence even more. He taught me his preferred way of parallel parking, so now I feel I have options depending on the road I'm on, and his confidence in my abilities really improved my driving. He taught me specific roads that we passed, not because I'll need them for test, but because it'll make me a better and safer driver, and I'll be prepared when I meet similar roads in future. He was absolutely great and I would recommend him to everyone.

I feel like I had a unique situation experiencing three instructors, and I'm so thankful that they were all so willing to take me on at such short notice and squeeze me in when they could as it really worked for me. I feel like I learned so much from all of them and I can not recommend all three of them and DrewMatic enough.

Angie is amazing, miss our chats. Always made me feel at ease and calm but pushed me when needed.. I’m very forgetful but Angie always had little ways/sayings for me to remember things.

Learned over covid so we had to do a lot of rescheduling due to changing rules, but Angie always made it work. Highly recommend :)

After trying manual lessons for nearly 2 months and feeling like I was getting nowhere I switched to Drewmatic and was given Angie as my instructor. From the moment I got in the car she made me feel at ease and like we had known eachother forever. I cannot thank her enough for all of her time and patience with me, turning me from a terrified, anxious mess into someone who feels confident and has just passed their test first time today!

I honestly couldn’t recommend Angie enough, she is so knowledgable and explains everything in such a simple way and never ever once has gotten annoyed with my million and one questions, always taking her time to make sure I understand everything 100% and never rushing me into things I wasn’t ready for.

Great driving school, with a fantastic instructor angie. I couldn't fault her, she adapted her teaching skills in a way I could remember it. She is easy to get along with, every time in the car was full of random conversations and laughter. She believed in me when I kept telling myself I couldn't do it, and got my confidence back up to be able to pass.

Best Driving School. Fantastic instructor Craig Pattinson. I passed first time yesterday and it would not have been possible without Craig. I was nervous and scared on my first lesson, but his instructions and explanations are easy to follow and nothing is a trouble to him. He is reliable and will help anywhere he can. I would totally recommend Craig & Drewmatic. I am grateful to Craig for getting me through even when I doubted myself he never did. If you are thinking about learning, do it its not too late.

I took lessons with Angie I highly recommend her. She is very patient. Easy to get on with. Very calm very professional.

I'm definitely happy with my experience with drewmatic. My instructor was Craig, and on top of his instructions being really clear and the progression of his lessons easy to follow, he really went above and beyond to work around my schedule when it changed, and to be mindful of my budget when I was between jobs. Easily recommended for anyone else who realises that most hybrid/electric cars are going to be automatic and a manual licence is becoming less necessary.

Adam was absolutely incredible. He’s patient, instantly put me at ease and a really solid teacher. Always had confidence in me. Passed first time. Thank you so much bud!

I felt so relaxed with Tony Shek, He took away all my nerves, he’s very friendly, if you make a mistake he’s great at explaining to correct it and he’s a very patient man!!

I would definitely recommend you try Drewmatic. I came from learning in a manual. Driving automatic is so much easier. My instructor Laura was brilliant. So patient and understanding she kept me calm all the time . LAURA thanks again I wouldn't have done it without you 🤗

I would highly recommend Drewmatic automatic driving tuition to anyone that wants to have a detailed knowledge of how to stay safe while driving on the road. Craig Pattison of Drewmatic taught even to the minutest detail and some that I am sure some other driving instructors would consider unnecessary from what I’ve heard. Thank you for putting yet another safe driver out there . I am grateful .

Great company. I couldn’t fault my experience with Drewmatic or my instructor even if i really tried. Angie was from start to finish the perfect balance of helpful and friendly and did everything she could to make me believe in my abilities to drive. Passed first time and i don’t think i could have done it without her.

Passed first time with Adam. Couldn't recommend him as an instructor enough, or the drewmatic to learn with enough. I went from being petrified of driving in my first lesson to passing with 2 minors. Adam is a really good teacher, knows exactly how to adapt his teaching style to what works best for you. Always reassuring and motivating. Plenty of resources to use at hand too. An amazing experience so thank you 👍
