They belong in a UK court, you pay out for your van £238 and £100 insurance then around £600 for diesel then every Monday it all starts again
Constantly out of money traveling 2500 miles a week and sleeping in the van
You will finally be exhausted and will have eaten through any savings you may have had just to work for these cowboys

Avoid this company at all cost rip people off big time take all your money then say something bad came back on your DBS !utter bullshit and lies 1. Do not take people’s money before the DBS comes back
2. They then won’t give you all your money back imagine this has a company, taking people for mugs needs shutting down! Had to give one star to be able to write on here! AVOID AVOID AVOID pray on people that want to work then lie to keep your money by the way I’ve had a DBS before and it was clean these people actually make shit up( writing on behalf of my brother)

So what is the solution? Surely there must be some way of stopping these scam artists, who are preying on the unwary and vulnerable?

ABSOLUTE SCAM!! AVOID! This company is an absolute sham. Currently run out of Amazon at Stoke and Birmingham. Stoke is run by a complete bully called Steve Smith who only has one interest in lining his own pockets. They will push you into hiring a van with another sham company called OneStop Van Hire (ANOTHER SHAM COMPANY) which they are obviously in cahoots with. This will cost £276 PER WEEK! Plus you will have to pay extra insurances. Plus, obviously fuel. They cannot guarantee you shifts and Steve will 'punish' you by not giving you shifts if he doesn't like you. On average, you will be given 180 drops to do over a large area and ultimately be completely burnt out at the end of the day. You will also have to set up a LTD company so that they have no tax burden. For £160 a day with all the other costs, you are better to get yourself a warehouse position. DO NOT WORK FOR Driver Agent (UKED) or hire from OneStop.

I was considering paying the £65 vetting fee, but thank God i read all these reviews, having to pay so much, insurance, vetting etc, before making any money, didn't like the feel of it.

My review is just to let everyone know my initial meet up with them was in Birmingham, and the guy claims his name is "Rob", reviews I'm reading from all across the country... seem to people conveniently also been interviewed by a "Rob"

This company is a SCAM, you end up getting paid £100 for the week and that is doing 60+ hours a week, after paying for fuel and van rental, what a joke this company is

just lost about 1000£ and the guy who works in Lonsdale House is a lier.
Be careful becouse you won't earn the money that he promised you.
You will endup doing miles and miles up and down UK, earning few quids a week!!

Can’t believe this company is still running! I personally witnessed a man nearly die doing this job, they expect you to break the law by doing well over 80mph to reach targets if for example you hit traffic on route! You will be expected to speed to make up time! No excuses is there policy! This is a 100% fact! believe all the awful reviews on here! Somebody will die in a motorway crash doing this job due to the lack of care this company shows to its drivers. This job is not worth losing your life over!

I surpose start with the company 18/11/2024 after seeing the reviw on the one stop van hire and the company reviw .No No No No i have to cancel all ( van hire , van insurance ) the job is not for me. Thanks to all that share their experience here, that save me alot headache waiting for me. They dont explain better in the meeting. They dont explain better that you have to pay all those money to set yourself up. many people may think they will set all up for you and they make their deduction when you start working for them. I was sent list of things i have to come with on the 18/11/2024, then i saw sleeping bag on the list lol i message immediately i dont get whats sleeping bag has to do with the job , meaning i have to be sleeping in sleeping bag on the way to earn 650pounds a week as a self employed, by the time i remove tax , feeding from it how much left, hell NO. I ask again as my ride is to Scotland whats my pay the next day , he could not answer me , so i we be driving to Scotland to earn 650pounds a weeek . Thats bullshit! What about the van broke down before the 28days rental period, meaning i am going for loan to pay for repairment of van i dont even know the condition of the van. I have ask for refund of my money paid for the van from the one stop van hire and also from the insurance company. The only money i think i might lose here is the money paid for DBS check and i was lucky i have not yet bought train ticket that cost 80pounds. as a courier the only way one can make money is having your own van, insurance and No middle man. Goodnews, that was fast from one stop van hire . i requested for refund from one stop van hire yesterday through phone call and email and the next day already get my full refund from them that was nice from them and fast and got my full refund from the insurance company on Sunday, that was fast from them too for my Refund . Is the company name Experian that carry out the DBS check i have also sent an email to them to request for my Refund.

I have been trying to call them about my appointment for tomorrow but no one answers. Thanks for all the reviews.
I guess I won't be going anymore. Quiting is why is Indeed, Reed and all these companies allowing them to advertise?

I am so glad I have read all these reviews, believe it or not I applied for a van driver job long distance, in Buckinghamshire after completing the application I get an email to further complete the application and get redirected to Driver agent asking me to book a slot for a meeting, just book it and turn up . Get another (automated) response from rob , you are booked, blah,blah but when I see that I can’t reply to Rob’s email and no other form of contact seamed present that was a Massive Red flag and now I find out that they have been at it for ages
My distant memory recalls dealing with them before a few years ago but i thought That absolute horror show would’ve been shut down by now. I am so glad I didn’t waste my time and money going to birmingham for some tw*t to scam me out of money I can’t afford
AVOID, GIVE THIS ONE A BIG SWERVE
And treat yourself with the money you saved

Applied for driver jobs, had to choose a date for an interview, turned up but no one came. Contacted to the numbers they gave, no answers at all.
Cant see the benefit they get for lying people but all this company is a big fake and scam.

I have attended an interview with them, honestly i can't give them 5 stars because in the job description it didn't say much just the good staff £200+ per day, (leaving the good things aside,) TO WORK WITH THEM YOU NEED YOUR OWN VAN, INSURANCE, AND PAY YOURSELF FOR THE FUEL, I'VE BEEN GIVEN THE OPTION TO RENT ONE IT WOULD'VE COST ME £500 DEPOSIT AND £250 WEEKLY + FUEL..., SO I RECKON TO START WITH THEM WILL NEED TO GET OUT OF YOUR POCKET AROUND £2000 . WHAT HE SAID IS THAT YOU REMAIN WITH £600 WEEKLY AFTER EXPENSES. ALSO AS THIS IS LONG DISTANCE DELIVERY YOU MIGHT NEED TO SLEEP IN HOTELS OR VAN FROM TIME TO TIME.

I cannot even believe how this company is running. Drivers are treated like crap. Whether u work 4 days or 7 days itll work out the same because they pay so little where the costs start equating how much youre making

Whats more tragic than this "buisness" if ya wanna call it that and even more tragic than its consistant 1 star reviews is the pillocks trying defend their dodgy ass dealings ...... look at whats promised on indeeds ads compared to whats actually recieved from the employess ..... 1 stars all round is all ya need know , also the fact u advertise on indeed from several different named agys on indeed that all direct back to you is dodgy in itself , no reviews on indeed because you advertise under other various names so nothing comes back to you ...... just screams avoid

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I worked for 1 week as a self employed driver doing Amazon Flex and was informed you work 2 weeks in advance ?. I did 1 week with this company, on the induction and train they stated that you will have a so called nursery run that you can get used to the system that is in place, this is rubbish my first delivery run was manic and impossible to achieve in a safe driving manner so I decided it wasn’t for me, what they neglect to inform you is you will not be paid the week you worked after finishing for 28 days due to possible customer claims.

If I could give a zero I would. AVOID this company at all cost. They are a load of scammers.
