Good service, tidy workers.

I saw them working next door. My neighbour was pleased with them so I spoke to the installers. They made arrangements for Ben the owner to come and do a survey and estimate. He was very obliging. The installers arrived on time, very hard working, friendly and competent. They did a first class job.Not forgetting Polly in the office who was also extremely competent. I have no hesitation in giving them a top score.

Lads were a little late but that was ok, its a long trip up fron Plymouth.
The workmen were polite and very freindly. They worked non stop till the job was completed and tidied up after.
I would certainly reccommend Ecoshield.

An upfront no pressure free survey of our loft with no.problems found having had Government Sponsored insulation in 2011, but gave advice regarding cavity wall insulation as we have a water/damp ingress issue and directed us to a company that specializes in identifying and resolving damp issues. Friendly and professional explanation of work to be done with photographs of installations.
Installation team polite and professional taking care in handling material through house. Cleaned up all areas on completion. Quick examination of installation through loft hatch showed well laid insulation.

From the initial consultation to the final installation of loft insulation I was very impressed with this company.

I wouldn't normally respond to cold callers.
Because I had heard bad things about the work done under the government warm home scheme i decided to have a survey. I'm very glad i did as my roofing felt had become damaged and my woodwork was becoming damp as was the insulation itself.
This company were professional, friendly and efficient, they carried out the necessary work with as little mess or disruption as possible and I was offered a reasonable price when compared to the roofing work which would have been needed if i had left it longer

The workmen were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, worked hard and…. were tidy. We were very pleased with the finished work.

I had been thinking about loft insulation for some time as our was in an appalling state, being 25 years or more old and subject to lots of building changes. Our first contact was a door knock! The person was very polite and asked if we were considering enhancing our insulation. Right person at the right time. He had a quick look at the insulation and suggested a detailed survey the following day. The surveyor arrived the next day on time and provided a detailed overview of the insulation, complete with photographic evidence of damp, poor coverage and depth of the existing installation. He gave us a cost and we agreed to proceed.

The installation by the two people was first class. They explained the process they would follow, keep everything as clean as possible and also wanted to know if I had any particular concerns or requests. I wanted some walkway keeping clear and photos of the space once cleared so I knew where cables and pipes lurked.

The guys worked consistently hard throughout the day, without rushing anything. They did a first class job which I am delighted with.

I had a follow up call from the company that evening to check we were happy and if we had any concerns. Really good follow up. Details, but important.

Overall a good experience with local company who did precisely what they said they would.

Happy to recommend them to anyone thinking of improving their insulation.

Arrived on time, polite and friendly introducing themselves. Worked quickly and efficiently although we did have to provide our own dust sheets. On leaving they thoroughly vacuum the hallway and took away all the old loft insulation.

Good job done by this enthusiastic team. We would recommend them wholeheartedly. Roof work is always a concern, but no worries using this firm. Friendly, tidy and efficient. Job well done!

As many others have said we would not usually deal with a company via an initial contact on the doorstep. However we agreed to a loft survey which revealed some issues we were unaware of….they had been “hidden” by the work previously undertaken in the loft, we were invited to see these for ourselves so they were very genuine and not fabricated. We were given a price for the work required which was completed very efficiently a week later with no fuss or hassle or mess and all the old insulation etc removed.
This is a small company and there is excellent communication throughout.
We are very pleased with the outcome.

Of course I am not a surveyor or anything so I have to take on trust that everything was done properly. It certainly looks as if the friendly, clean, quick and skilled team completed the repairs and installation as had been explained to me by the boss/surveyor. Everyone, from the guys who came to the door to the surveyor, fitters and office staff, have all been well-informed, professional and a pleasure to work with.

All aspects from the surveyor to the actual installation excellent. I felt very confident that Eco Shield would carry out the work efficiently and indeed I am really pleased with everything and feel assured that I no longer will have problems with damp and mould in my loft. The two men doing the installation were very tidy and caring. Would thoroughly recommend Eco Shield.
