I ordered custom colored paint (based on a Benjamin Moore color) and the color matching was excellent. The paint is packed very well and arrived quickly. However, I was quite disappointed with the paint- both the gloss pet dwellings paint and the related primer. These paints are advertised as being designed for pet dwellings, and are pictured on the website as being applied to bird cages and dog crates. I applied the primer and paint to a bird cage according to the manufacturer’s directions, taking great pains to coat everything evenly. In fact, I was so neurotic about this project that I probably spent a total of 20 hours preparing, priming, and painting. After curing, the initial visual result was very good, consistent with the manufacturer and customer photos I had seen on the Ecos website. However, after a week or so of actual use- and light use at that, because my bird is not a chewer at all- the paint is already flaking off the cage. This paint in particular is a pretty good example of false advertising; it would be lovely for a decorative item but is far from suitable for anything that a pet actually “dwells” in. I’m annoyed that I wasted 20ish hours and $100 on this project.

The customer service was initially horrible and the people unfriendly but it eventually improved. We bought the semi-transparent concrete sealer in tile black and semi transparent it is not. Our floors are JET BLACK. So, beware if what you want is a light-ish color blackish-gray as shown in the pictures of the product. This is not at all what we ended up with.

EDIT: EcosPaints replied and said we were sent clear concrete sealer free of charge. That is news to me! We never received anything like that or have heard anything about it. So I have no idea what they are talking about. Shipping for a sample was upwards of $70 so that was not possible either.

Delivery was very quick. The paint looks good and virtual no smell. I have one kid and dog so I was very conscience of smell and fumes. I have not started writing on it yet, so I cannot speak to quality. Overall, very impressed so far.

Received order fine. I'm just disappointed that ECOS' match to a provided industry color wasn't close enough. I'm hoping I can find a comparable ECOS color that will work.

Paint is great- I have parrots and had to have 0 VOC, and I am thrilled, literally no smell at all! I am doing cabinets, got the semi-gloss. It's a little more matte than I expected, kind of wishing I did the gloss, but overall great experience. Will be buying all of my paint from you guys from now on. And color match service was great! ( I just named my selection).

The order arrived fast. I didn’t try it out as I decided to do something else but I will order from here what I need again.

Love the paint, I love that I don’t get a headache while using it! Had a good experience ordering and shipping was fast. My only qualm is that the color match I gave of a Sherwin Williams color turned out a bit more yellow. But I understand that is to be expected since I didn’t mail in an actual color chip. I will definitely be ordering again though!

This paint was just what we were looking for! ECOS is true to their word when they claim a low level of fumes. The smell is almost non-existent after the paint is laid.

This was my second order of Ecos Paint. The first was fine.
I ordered paint for my entire house, brand new walls and plaster. After applying the paint, the paint and plaster started peeling off the walls. The plaster and walls were ruined.
Reached out to Ecos about this they sent me a survey of 25 questions (basically to place blame ) and offered me no help, no new paint, no refund. Had a few contractors look at it and they said the paint likely froze in transit. Cost to me $4000 in plaster, $1500 in paint. Not even an apology from Ecos. The worst paint experience ever.
I also found out it does have VOC's in the paint.

After using the paint the walls continued to peel over all the walls and ceiling. NOT small discreet areas. Taking random quotes from me early on is still the worst customer service, because there was no remedy provided from them. I had to find out from another paint manufacturer how to fix this.
In my business I always try to make it right for my customer. Ecos did not do this. I offered to send them samples of the failed paint and they just wanted pics and a video. Buyer beware.
There was still no help and no remedy.

Excellent paint was delivered quickly and did exactly what we needed to freshen up our crib ready for the new addition to our family.
