Well organized, team knows what’s going on

By putting together the category review meetings that time with our reset schedule, it now gives suppliers a seat at the table to be considered for either the mainstream or NOSHE schematics. I know it is extra work on your teams part but makes a difference to uys and the suppliers.

The ECRM team is organized, friendly, and are on top of it. If my team has questions, we know we can depend on any of the ECRM staff to know the answer. If they don't, they're quick to communicate across their team and find one. We always appreciate the meetings that are set up and ways to connect with other buyers in attendance, too.

Majority of the suppliers we met with were 100% dedicated to the PL categories that were applicable to our categories.

The process getting us scheduled was fine. When we got to the hotel the experience was not good at all. We arrived and were told we had to move to another location off site because they were over booked. The shuttle service offered did not allow us to keep on schedule and forced down time and waiting. In most cases we need to get our own transportation to the other hotel at our own expense. The hotel we were put in was not nice at all. It was dirty, and smelled of smoke. Very disappointing. All of this back and forth forced us to change our schedule and did not provide the appropriate time to see who we needed to see. Very disappointed with the process.

The vendors attending were very knowledgeable and eager to get their products out into the market. Was a great experience.

Great customer service

ECRM, by itself as an organization, was great. Our biggest disappointment, which ECRM can't control, is that verbal 'wow... please follow up with me' comments went very cold afterward, despite our gentle yet persistent attempts to close business.

There needs to be more delineation between foodservice and retail opportunities. Or perhaps more info provided on each vendor, so meetings are only set up if there is true interest or fit for the opportunity. A significant chunk of meetings I had weren't applicable to my product/business.
