I want to save other traders the experience I just had with EdgeClear.
Liquidation #1 — I acted immediately, it made no difference
When EdgeClear flagged a margin deficiency I responded immediately and initiated a wire transfer. I communicated this clearly to their team. Despite acting in good faith and with urgency, they liquidated my position anyway before the funds arrived. They later refunded the commissions — a quiet acknowledgment that the situation was not as clean as they now claim.
The support that followed — vague, slow, and ultimately harmful
After the first liquidation I was in contact with two of their team members, Max and Niko. Their messages strongly implied my situation would be reviewed, that I should re-enter my previous positions, and that they would work with me from there to remedy the situation. I followed that guidance in good faith. Any trader reading those messages would have done exactly the same.
Liquidation #2 — they pointed me back into the market and then pulled the rug
I rebuilt my positions as their team had encouraged me to do. Then EdgeClear liquidated me again. A second liquidation within 48 hours, on positions I had re-entered at their own staff's direct encouragement. No warning. No phone call. No chance to act. Just gone.
Let that sink in: their team guided me back into the market, and then liquidated me without warning on those same positions.
The CEO's response — a masterclass in deflection
I escalated to the CEO, Morad Askar, expecting leadership and a genuine review. What I received was a carefully constructed email that reframed every single failure as my own decision. The encouraging messages from his staff? Completely unaddressed. The fact that I re-entered based on their guidance? Described as me simply "choosing" to re-enter. Every loss, every outcome — pinned cleanly on me.
This is not a CEO who investigates and owns his team's mistakes. This is a CEO who writes airtight corporate emails and closes the door.
The bottom line for US traders
EdgeClear will enforce their margin policies to the letter when it costs you money. But when their own team's communications encourage you to take on risk and then that risk is liquidated without warning — do not expect the same precision in accountability. You will get silence when you need guidance, encouragement when it suits them, and a polished deflection email when you ask for answers.
If your broker's integrity and support quality matter to you — and in fast-moving futures markets they absolutely should — think very hard before funding an account here.

1. The "Off-Switch" Platform (Market Manipulation):
The platform froze repeatedly during active trading. It is extremely suspicious that the system "glitches" exactly when the market moves, only to miraculously start working again the moment you lodge a complaint. It feels like they are flipping a switch to prevent you from managing your trades. My stop-loss was ignored multiple times because of these freezes, leading to massive, unnecessary losses.
2. Unauthorized "Double" Currency Conversion:
I funded my account in USD and traded in USD. Yet, they performed an unauthorized conversion of my entire balance into EUR and then back to USD for a withdrawal. They admitted in writing that converting the full balance was unnecessary, yet they still charged me $1600 in fees and predatory exchange spreads. This is pure theft disguised as a "technical requirement."
3. Total Lack of Professionalism:
To lose 50% of your capital to a broker's technical incompetence and hidden fees is a disgrace. When confronted, they offered a "partial credit" instead of a full refund for their admitted mistakes. This is not a legitimate trading environment; it’s a trap for international investors.
Final Verdict: If you have $10,000 or $100,000, do not put a single cent here. They will bleed you dry with "system freezes" and unauthorized currency games. I am filing a formal report with the NFA and CFTC regarding this market manipulation and theft of funds.

My only futures broker
I've been with Edge Clear for years, and it is hard to explain the level of service these guys have over every broker unless you have experienced it. For one example, when I was setting up to trade futures via unattended computer program, I was able to call my broker's phone, got through instantly, and setup a risk liquidation rule that would stop out my positions and lock me out of trading if I lost >10% of account balance in one day.
Having that level of service is rarely seen in this world, and I've seen nothing close by any other broker. At least not that I've experienced with my tiny account size. They treat even the smallest of traders with respect and I have always felt a valued customer, even though my trade size matters little.
