Excellent stress free service from start to finish. Easy quick collection from the car park ... no queuing in a busy arrivals hall arguing about insurance charges. I am now a regular customer and I always recommend EDI to friends and family. Thank you

Absolutely the best, easiest, friendliest and personal car hire experience we've ever had in years of hiring abroad. When we arrived at Alicante airport we were met by Miguel who then took us to the car personally, and because we'd hired it one way we were dropping off at their office in El Campello which was no bother at all. When we dropped the car off we were given a lift by the owner back to near where we were living in El Campello. Amazing service and
deal was all in, including insurance. They should call their company Easy car rental, it was a breeze to deal with them.

We rented a car for three weeks.
It is the best experience we have had with rental cars/car rental companies to date.

The car was, as agreed, ready for collection at Alicante airport. We just followed the directions we were given to find it. Totally hassle free.

It was an agreement where we had not paid a deposit, there were no hidden costs, with full insurance, an almost new car and the equipment we needed. So total luxury and risk-free.

After a few days we drove to the office and paid the rent for the car, they were so nice and friendly and had many good tips for what to visit in the local area and which restaurants were good etc.
Everything was done in English and without problems of any kind.

When we had to travel home, we just parked at the airport again and got a receipt by email for delivery.

It is the most trustworthy car rental company I have ever experienced and we can highly recommend them.

This company offer exactly what they say with no hidden extras or credit card ‘holds’. Booking was straightforward via email with Claire and the car was ready for pickup on our arrival at Alicante Airport. Nissan Micra very clean with low mileage perfect for our trip. I would definitely use this company again and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

If you want a stress free and efficient service do not use anyone else. There is nothing worse when you arrive to Alicante airport and then have to wait ages at the rental desk . With EDI you just walk to your car or have a meet and greet . So simple, quick and hassle free , it’s how it should be . 5 Stars and very well deserved . Can not rate high enough and thank you

Would have given 4.5 if an option. Had a really good experience on collection of vehicle in May, hassle and stress free. The car was immaculate and contributed to what was a brilliant holiday. Drop off was easy too. We did have an issue once we were home but after a long telephone conversation with staff, the issue was sorted. Would recommend and would have used again in September, however Edi are fully booked.

We have had such a disappointing service from Edi rent a car, we will definitely not be using them again and really would not recommend them to anyone.
We had to change our flights, out of our control. Edi were aware of this around a week before we were due to originally collect our car. On collection, we were charged the full amount, an extra 5 days of hire totalling well over an extra €250 euros. The website states there is no cancellation fee or charge so basically if we had just failed to collect the car and go and pay for it, Edi would have lost the full rental and we would not have been charged €900 euros for a basic at best car. It’s very disappointing service to say the least. We used Edi in April, our family always use Edi and we have two trips booked to Alicante for later this year. We now clearly won’t be using Edi rent a car. You may need to amend your T’s & C’s or at the very least inform people that you will be charging them fees in situations out of their control..

Your personal and unnecessary attack on us shows exactly the company we are dealing with here. At no point prior to us posting the review did you contact us by email or telephone to say the car was left in a bad condition as this is simply a lie.
My review was honest and clear. You charged us for five whole days that we did not have the car, around a cost of €275+ euros. We are a young family that save hard to have holidays and this is simply disgusting. You state you have no cancellation fee, so why did we get charged? You describe yourself as a transparent business and like to obtain an open dialogue with clients. So why did you not mention the additional charge we would be expected to pay when we spoke with you via email when we advised that our dates would be changing?

En mi caso el alquiler ha sido en el aeropuerto de Asturias, por recomendación de la propietaria del lugar donde nos hospedábamos, y ha sido un acierto pleno. Atención familiar y adaptándose a nuestras necesidades, por parte de Neil, nuestro contacto. Contrato sin sorpresas, ni cobros de última hora con cualquier excusa, como algunas compañias conocidas de este mundillo. Mi recomendación para nuevos clientes y seguid trabajando como hasta ahora. We used EDI for the first time and I can not recommend this company enough.

Friendly staff who met us and showed where the car was to be picked up, informed where and what we should do when we were to fly home, also received help with loading the bags the car.

As many others pointed out, no hidden fees, good price, clean and fresh car.
Will always book a car from EDI in the future.

We used EDI for the second time and I can't praise this company enough. Perfect service, no hidden costs and most important no ripping off tricks like many of the (cheap) rentals try to do. What you see is what you get including friendly staff. When traveling to Alicante I would blindly choose for this great company.

Alicante airport hire. Seat Ibiza less than 2 years old, low mileage, excellent condition inside and out, fast and pleasant service in person and via phone/text all in native English. Fair insurance terms with good cover included. Free child booster seat. Full to full fuel policy. Only unusual thing during this hire was that there was no rear parcel shelf provided, so personal items would be on display if kept in the car boot, although it is probably wiser not to leave anything inside and show an empty boot when parked.

All praise for EDI. After16 years of frequent travel to Spain I was recommended to EDI. Now it's my turn to recommend. The professional service, simplicity of booking and efficiency of hand over were exemplary and so much more personal than any booking hall company has ever provided. Don't go compare, just go EDI.

I have known this company for near on 30 years. Great people, amazing and friendly service, and no surprises. Thanks guys and keep up the good work 😊
