This website is completely fraud and ridiculous, such a scam.

I use - or try to use - Education.com's worksheets and lessons for homeschooling my son.

The website has too many bugs and we only just started using it! So I paid $119 to be frustrated. I contacted support and the CSR did *try* to help, but they can't fix a broken website.

The sound - can't be turned off. Like any other website if you click on the speaker icon and turn the sound all the way down, you'll see an "X" and it's supposed to be muted. But it's not. Every move you make, every link you click, there's a stupid sound. And I shouldn't have to turn my laptop's sound off in order to turn off the sounds from one website. There is no global sound setting. In fact there's really very few settings to begin with.

The text on the interactive worksheets is ridiculously small. There are included controls to zoom in or out. Unfortunately when you zoom in to make the text even close to readable, the text box makes the text overflow outside the box. In other words, the Developers don't know enough to also increase the size of the containing box.

And speaking of boxes....all interactive worksheets are confined to the center 50-60% of the screen. Hello? 1990 called and they want their layout back....

I'm just done with Education.com. If I wanted to be this pissed off I'd send my son back to public school.

UPDATE: Thank you, I got a PRORATED REFUND of roughly 50% credited back, not the FULL REFUND the response from Education.com claimed.

Which I'm fine with, even though we only used Education.com for a little over a month. I also know that we were outside of the refund window, so I was happy to get any credit.

Front for a scam don’t trust them am on there case

education.com is 100% scam website, dont buy using credit or debit card, without knowing you, website will detecting money from your card, card is also unable top remove website, auto-revewal is also cant stop.

Fraud and Scam. This Website SOMEHOW got a hold of my Credit Card info despite me never providing it to them and randomly charged me 17 dollar amount. I never signed up for their services and they straight up just Stole My Card. I contacted my bank and the FTC and will look in to filing a police report. This website should be investigated by Law Enforcement.

Scam. I did not enable auto renew and they have been illegally taking money from me. Theft!

I like the worksheets and feel that they are well-made. I didn't have any issues when canceling my subscription when no longer needed.

I requested to cancel my account due to lack of resources. I saw the money taken from my account again this year. They are scammers don't go near them . Very bad customer service and buyers beware

This company is a scam. They have been taking money out of my account illegally. I did not authorize this company to take out monthly payments. They have taken money from me since July 2024. I had the basic free plan, so why am I getting charged $15.99 every month. There's no way to cancel membership with them under account settings. It's all a scam. Currently, seeking legal advice because I want all of my money refunded back to me.

As with everyone else, I cancelled a paying subscription months ago, they are still billing me, this is a scam company that steals your money, I will be filing a petty claims suit against them if they don't cancel ASAP.

I got scammed out of $119.88, I never ordered anything. somehow they got my credit card number.
they only reply by email {Red Flag} I was told they couldn't locate my information.

Update, they reached out to me and made things right. They send money back to my account and cancel the account.

I subscribed and turned off auto-renewal by going to account setting- cancel subscription. However, to my astonishment, when I reopen the website and get to the account setting page, it once again shows that my membership will auto renew on certain date. I tried a couple of times to cancel to no avail.

Just another place that steals consumer info and tries to steal your money..... what happened to just helping out children no strings attached..... This site isn't too help children's education it's to rob the ones trying to help children.

It's horrible that I was lured into membership. The lady who spokes to me years ago basically refused to let me cancel my membership. So I was charged years after years until I realized I should cancel it since my child has out grown it. Still, the website makes it impossible to cancel it. Glad my credit card expires before I will be charged again. I should not have bought into this marketing strategy. It's just not cost effective. I wasted hundreds of dollars for probably 10 pages of usage. For these 10 pages, I used my own paper and ink for printing.

This company refused to refund my account when it renewed automatically, and I wrote to them explaining that the subscription was too expensive for me since I don't use it enough to spend all that money on it.

Stay way from this fraud company. I cancelled the subscription before the renwal date and they still maaged to charge my expired CC. I am reporting this to bank as well.

I bought a yearly subscription advertised at 59.94. I was charged 94.85. I am outraged. False advertising. I would not recommend for anyone to subscribe to Education.com

I cannot stop emails coming from education.com!

I contacted Education.com by email on 28th Feb, a while after I'd stopped subscribing - including taking the time to click daily on the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of each email I received - but was still receiving emails and asked for assistance in making this happen, as it was taking time every day to click 'unsubscribe'.

A person replied, informing me they had manually removed my email from the list and there may be one or two more that come through, as lists synced up, which I thanked them for.

I then contacted the support team again on the 12th March to let them know I was still receiving daily emails and due to the time difference, I really wanted to stop receiving emails at 1am, 2am etc. every day... Could someone please assist with removing my email from their lists as the first person's efforts had not yet been successful.
Someone else then replied, informing me they'd investigated, removed my email once more and that it may take a day or two for all the lists to sync up.

Three weeks since I reached out to the support team by email, I AM STILL RECEIVING DAILY EMAILS!

Please learn from my error and DO NOT SIGN UP FOR EMAILS FROM EDUCATION.COM unless you are prepared to receive emails every day in future, with staff apparently being unable to stop these.

I used education.com when I tutored privately and it was fine (3-4 stars). However, I no longer needed this subscription and canceled my account two weeks before the autorenew date. I double checked that the cancelation worked by trying to log in but my username was no longer recognized, proving that my account was actually canceled. They still charged me the yearly subscription fee on 1/22/24, two weeks after I had canceled. I wrote to customer service on two separate occasions asking why this occurred and to kindly refund my money but I never heard back. If someone is looking to sign up I would recommend they don't use the autorenew feature.
