Having used Efficient Energy Home Ltd for the second time now, I can confidently say their customer care is seamless and consistent.

As a landlord, arranging maintenance can be difficult, but they completely took away the frustration of organising the work. From start to finish, the process for our boiler service and gas safety certificate was excellent. The customer service team managed the booking with great professionalism, making everything smooth. My tenant confirmed that the engineer arrived strictly on time, was polite, and worked to a very high professional standard. They are flexible and offer fantastic pricing. I booked a new EPC and EICR as a package for a competitive price. I was able to book an appointment easily and there was lots of availability even just a few days in advance. The assessor was friendly enough although was a bit hesitant about answering my questions after the assessment. The EPC was sent over the same day, although I had to chase the EICR. There were some issues with my EPC in that some of the information about my apartment was incorrect. So, I would strongly recommend you to double check the documentation. However, they were pretty fast and accommodating at then rectifying the issues and providing an updated EPC based on the evidence I sent them.

I found my experience with Efficient Home Energy very smooth. Booked a gas and electric check for the next day, staff on the phone were extremely friendly and helpful and upon being visited the technician was quick and also friendly. Highly recommend - process could not have been easier!

Life is busy so when it comes to renewing documents to continue a rental property you want to deal with matters quickly. I was therefore delighted to recently return to Efficient Home Energy Ltd to complete a gas safety certificate. On calling them - a human answered! No hold music, no automation just a real person. And they were friendly and even offered to bring up my details from last time! Can you imagine such efficiency!! It’s a rare thing these days. We had the inspection booked in minutes at a very reasonable rate (I had already received another quote nearly double this, until I remembered to fish out their details from the last invoice). Not only did they turn up on time, so useful when you’ve told tenants to be home for them. And within minutes of completion they sent through the documentation. I’m one happy customer 🤩

Extremely disappointing experience.

I approached Efficient Home Energy because I needed an EPC for a rental property. Due to an ambiguous service listing, I ended up booking an electrical certificate service instead of the EPC service I was trying to obtain.

The service experience itself was poor. On the first booking, no engineer attended and I was only notified via a late email the evening before, which was not seen until after the appointment time. No attempt was made to contact me directly.

On a subsequent booking, the engineer was scheduled to arrive between 11:00 and 14:00 but did not arrive until after 17:00.

The problem was that I did not require an EICR. Only a few weeks earlier, a qualified electrician had carried out an EICR, identified remedial works, and after those works were completed I was issued with a satisfactory EICR confirming the installation was satisfactory.

Despite this, Efficient Home Energy carried out a further EICR and reported additional alleged defects with a quoted cost of £1,216 for remedial works. I was sent a quotation stating it was only valid if accepted and paid by 4pm the same day, alongside availability offered for the following day.

This created unnecessary time pressure to accept remedial work, despite the existence of a recently issued satisfactory EICR following certified remedial work by another qualified electrician.

The result was significant stress, confusion and unnecessary administrative burden.

Had the service listing been clear and unambiguous, I would never have ordered a second EICR in the first place.

Based on my experience, I would not use this company again.

Great company, easily booked a PAT test within a couple of days that needed to be done. Lots of choices on dates and times, and really helpful people on the phone if you need to contact them. I have also used them for a recent EPC and they were very efficient and great value

The team at Efficient home energy were great. Elle really helped us get everything sorted for getting the checks completed for renting our house. Highly recommend

Great company, used them many times for rentals I have. Great getting a reminder re GSC etc.
Also turn up on time and can usually do appointments within a day or so.
Definitely recommend!
