First class workshop facility
My buccaneer had crack near the fridge vent and was still under warranty, elddis had no hesitation in approving the claim and arranging for the work to be done back at the factory, I was very apprehensive as to whether an invisible repair was even possible, when the caravan was returned it was like brand new, the workshop have done an incredible job and the quality of work is truly amazing, on top of that there were a few niggles with the van I needed to sort, screw covers missing, wires showing in the wardrobe etc... when the van was returned all these jobs had also been done without being asked for, special thanks to Colin who kept me informed and runs a first class workshop facility, all in all a good experience for what initially felt like a disaster.

I have been very impressed by the Customer Service engagement
I have been very impressed by the support that Elddis have given me with regards to my CV80 roof cracking issue. They have agreed to replace the roof FOC even though the vehicle is over 4 years old. The cracks are very superficial but where the solar panel has been bonded onto the roof, there are small cracks showing. I spoke to a customer service manager directly at the factory, and had a very pleasant conversation with an immediate follow up email explaining the suggested plan of action. The repairs are scheuled to take place late August (to fit in with my calendar). So far so good. My expectations have been exceeded with the engagement so far, and I am sure the work in August will go without a hitch. Really great customer service.

Good news update
As previously posted the rear panel cracked on our 3 1/2 year old Elddis caravan, having read of other owners having similar problems I was very concerned that getting this fixed might prove very difficult under warranty. I am pleased to report that the service I’ve received from Elddis customer care has been exceptional and that although out of warranty by 6 months they are repairing it and doing the right thing. In addition they’ve kept me updated throughout the process. I’m very pleased and impressed 👍

I’ve had my CV20 campervan for 6 years now and I couldn’t be more delighted with how it is still perfect for me in every way. I probably use it more than most and it’s still looking good! There has been some wear and tear and things I’ve needed to update/replace but Elddis have stepped up every time! Their after sales service has been impeccable!
I couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

Another Cracked End Panel
We have a 2022 Elddis Chatsworth 554, so far we’ve had two leaks - both repaired under warranty. The first trip this year (May 2026) a damp patch has appeared at the rear, and yes on checking underneath the end panel has cracked. The van was serviced at the end of the season last year and no adverse damp readings were recorded, I can only assume the crack occurred during the winter - when in storage. We’re about to embark on the tortuous process of trying to persuade Elddis to fix this under warranty, I don’t hold out any great hope given this is both a common problem and an issue Elddis frequently fail to honour. Watch this space.

We bought our CV20 in 2025 from Spinney, Cheshire. We had an excellent experience from them, as is the same with the Erwin Hymer Group customer care when keeping our warranty updated. We love our CV20!

Warranty update
Had a problem with a warranty claim through a dealer. Dealer said Elddis were dragging their feet. However contact Elddis this morning and customer service was excellent. Claim was agreed the same day and parts order quickly. Thank you for your great service

CV80 roof replacement
Just picked up my CV80 from the Erwin Hymer factory in Consett after its new roof fitting on warranty — honestly felt like collecting a brand new van all over again! 😍
Nothing was too much trouble from start to finish, and I was completely overwhelmed by the lovely gifts they gave me on collection. Such a thoughtful touch.

Excellent customer service. Sue in particular was very helpful in regards to a weight plate upgrade on my caravan. She was always very polite and kept me updated throughout until I actually received it and even followed up to check that it had arrived. Thank you Sue for all your help.

Elddis CV80 Campervan
We are one of the many people that had to have their pop top replaced on our Elddis CV80, through cracking with the solar panel on the roof. From our first call we had great service from Colin (Team Leader) at the Elddis factory at Consett in Durham. He was very helpful arranging the collection of our motorhome and keeping us informed of how the work was going. Helping us with the wiring for the new solar panel that I was fitting. He would call us on a regular basis on the work being done, the van being cleaned up and also arranged to get our campervan back to us. I would give him 10/10 for great service, communication and being really helpful.

Exceptional help from Buccaneer Caravans/Erwin Hymer
Customer Service is a misnomer these days. Very few organisations employ enough people or experienced UK based people to give any kind of service to their customers. Standard cliche rejections are common place but not at Buccaneer Caravans I am delighted to say. Following some significant problems with my caravan and sub standard performance by the dealer, I was very impressed with the help, understanding and support I received from Helen in Customer Service who liaised with me to get an alternative dealer to rectify the faults. Very much over and beyond the usual level of assistance I am pleased to say. Well done.
