I contacted Elddis to ask if they had an owner’s manual for a 2007 Buccaneer model. They sent me a digital copy within the hour.

I unfortunately damaged my caravan and was having issues with a manufacturer authorised repairer. I spoke to the customer services Manager Michelle and I can only describe her help as brilliant. She took it up directly with the repairer and kept me updated with progress. This lady is a asset to her employer and I'd the really like to thank her for sorting my problem quickly and efficiently.

We purchased an Elddis Magnum 840 (Avanté) in April 2024 brand new. We’ve toured all over the uk and into France, from -5°c to 35°c and have had no issues.
The caravan is well put together and had no snags upon delivery. It’s warm, comfortable and a lovely place to spend time relaxing on holiday. We’d have another Elddis in a heartbeat. All the Elddis staff at the NEC show were friendly and helpful with any questions etc. We’d highly recommend

Please read the 1 star reviews carefully, as many have suggested. We had to take our Elddis dealer to court and won for 14 cracks in our Elddis caravan's end panels & serious/dangerous damp rot on the worst caravan we have ever had (an Elddis xplore).The judge in our case was highly critical of both the dealer and Elddis for leaving us with such a shocking, unsafe, rotting caravan! (our court case was in 2025). Elddis vans are shoddily made and do not last the distance (Elddis still use wood frames too when other van manufacturers use frames that do not rot) . Elddis also uses notoriously flimsy "not fit for purpose " plastic panels, that crack. Elddis doesn't care and tries to blame the customer for any issues. Elddis blamed us also which was outrageous!!! Buy better from a manufacturer that actually cares about their products and (importantly) cares about their customers e.g. Swift/Knaus/Adria vans etc. For anyone who has had an equally bad Elddis van - use the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (google if needed) to get your powerful LEGAL RIGHTS to have a van (a) "without defects" and (b) "fit for purpose." Dealers often don't want customers to know about this important consumer law as it costs them money!

Our Response to Elddis's reply: - Elddis was kept informed about our legal court case for a full 2 years (both the dealer and I sent Elddis "copy" documents at each stage) but Elddis did absolutely nothing except continue to blame us! What's even more shocking is that we had a valid Elddis 10 year water ingress warranty in place, but this apparently meant nothing to Elddis. At no time did Elddis (1) send an inspector out to view the damage (2) apologise to us for having such a torrid time with a caravan rotting around us and becoming so unsafe we stopped using it entirely; (3) All the while we had to climb tall ladders to try and stop the rain water getting in the 14 cracks & damaging the caravan further (as was our legal duty). Added to this, our negligent Elddis dealer did not even want to see the highly defective van either (they just tried to wash their hands of the matter) which was a CLEAR breach of their duties and equally disgraceful. Don't buy from Elddis; they have shafted many of their (blameless) customers for years - us included! In order to get the justice we deserved, I was forced to go all the way to court, complete with 100 pages of evidence & a damning Expert Report. Two years of hell! Elddis doesn't seem to mind taking up precious UK court time either - disgraceful & disrespectful. Buy better elsewhere instead e.g. Swift/Knaus/Adria.

I have a 2020 avante and would never ever ever buy Elddis again. Leaks…. Damp already…. Cracks in the roof, heater issues. The list is endless. Every time I call someone out for diagnostics and repair it’s the same story. Elddis!!!!!! ALL WELL KNOWN TO THEM FAULTS that recur many many times over with the newer vans. The company should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. People are spending their hard earned savings on shoddy workmanship that Elddis warranties (that aren’t worth the paper they’re written on) make you jump through so many hoops to claim in that it’s easier not to bother. The idea I guess!!! If you notice…. Elddis do not even have the good grace to reply to these awful reviews. All the replies are computer generated. Please read the one star reviews before buying an Elddis. I was warned and sadly didn’t listen!!!

Allson at Erwin Hymer was so helpful when I wanted to transfer the warranty for my motorhome over into my name as current owner. I was concerned I had left it too late but she reassured me that I hadn't. Throughout the whole process she was very supportive and explained everything to me, allaying all my concerns. She is an asset to the company.

Extremely happy with help received. Theirs staff members are very efficient and goal focused. I got my problem solved qiuck and with no hassle. Big thank you to all team, and recommendation to everyone to use them. AAA+++

I bought my Elddis infinity 550, 12 months ago brand new from a dealership in Burnley. The caravan has been a nightmare and I would not recommend anyone to buy an Elddis.
1. Front marker light out on day of collection. 10 weeks to send a replacement even though they have them in stock.
Main roof struts to hold roof window up did not work. Again 8 weeks plus for the replacements.

We took it on its maiden voyage and the metal door strips on the shower both sides dropped off not glued on. Back at the dealership 8 weeks for them to be repaired.

Went out for a weekend fridge not working had to threaten legal action to get it sorted. 6 weeks or it would have cost them the cost of a replacement caravan or cost of our holiday but that got sorted.

Charger went turned out it was the PCB board another 8 weeks.

Metal strips dropped off the shower door, again elddis took over 10 weeks to send replacements in 2 attempts to send out replacements.

All they could offer is habitat check as compensation even though it has spent over 6 months in the dealership as their customer service on warranty is the worse I have ever come across. It is as though we have your money get lost your problem. If that company closes it will be down to poor management and the warranty department.

I would just like to thank Allison at Elddis caravans for listening and resolving the issues we had with our caravan, and restoring our faith in Elddis caravans.

Allison successfully renewed my faith in customer service. She was, in one word, excellent, providing a clear, polite, understanding and professional service

Wrote a review about problems with our motorhome and delighted that Elddis reached out to us and have confirmed everything will be resolved. The customer service has been superb and we are being kept updated on progress, have to say we are super impressed, thank you very much!

I bought an Elddis Caravan which was a year old and still under warranty.
You must register the new owners details within 3 months of purchase to maintain the warranty.
Due to illness I failed to this and missed the cut off by 4 months.
I contacted Elldis and explained the situation and they were compassionate and understanding.
They waived the 3 month rula and transferred the warranty to me.
This was done promptly and efficiently.
Great customer service !

Alison did her very best to source and supply a couple of items we notified to her during the early days of our ownership of our new Xplore caravan.
She and the company who supplied our caravan provided us with excellent and polite customer service.

I spoke with Helen in customer services who was very helpful from the start, she explained clearly what I needed to do and what documentation had not been provided by the service company.
Once I had obtained and sent over Helen replied and confirmed very promptly.

I had an excellent experience when I called Elddis. I was looked after by a lady called Allison, I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful lady to look after me and my query.
Everything was taken care of for me which was a huge weight lifted for me. I just couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Allison is an absolute credit to Elddis, and I appreciate everything that she did for me.

Great help recently from the team at Elddis - particularly Rachel and Allison - helping rectify an historic issue with recording of a completed service by an AWS engineer who hadn’t uploaded the service records. Very swift response and quick resolution - great customer service and experience.
