I struggled with ingrown hairs in my underarms for as long as I can remember. Shaving constantly caused painful inflamed bumps, and even after switching to hair removal creams, the problem always came back. I was also quite self-conscious about the greyish discolouration of the skin.

I then tried laser hair removal, but because I have relatively light, fine Slavic hair, it just wasn’t effective enough. Some hairs disappeared, but considering the number of sessions, the results simply weren’t worth it for me.

That’s when I found Svitlana. I booked a consultation, and from the very beginning she was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. She explained the biology of hair growth, how electrolysis works, carried out a patch test, and answered all of my questions before arranging my first treatment.

I have quite a high pain tolerance, so I found the sensation more annoying than painful. However, Svitlana offers numbing cream and stress balls to make the treatment as comfortable as possible, which I thought was a really thoughtful touch.

I’m now near the end of my treatment, and I’m so glad I decided to go ahead with it. I started seeing a noticeable difference after just the first three full clearances, and now the improvement is incredible. I no longer have to deal with constant ingrown hairs or inflamed bumps, and the skin in my underarms looks much healthier.

I would highly recommend Svitlana to anyone with light or fine hair who isn’t getting the desired results from laser hair removal. If you’re wondering whether electrolysis is worth it, especially when laser hasn’t worked for your hair type, I can honestly say it has been one of the best investments I’ve made. Svitlana is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cares about achieving the best possible results.

I am from the US, but was in London for a few months and wanted to keep up with my electrolysis while away. Going to Electrolysis by Svitlana was the best decision. She is caring, knowledgeable about the practice and was very attentive to my hair’s personal needs. After just four sessions, I see a large difference in my hair follicles. She weakened the follicles so that they would be easier to kill moving forward. Not only was she attentive, but she told me what to tell my place at home so that the treatment continues to be effective. I cannot recommend Electrolysis by Svitlana enough!!!! Svitlana is an amazing electrologist and I’m so glad I found her. She is highly professional, very skilled, and makes you feel completely comfortable throughout the treatments. The hygiene of her premises is excellent, everything is spotless and very safe, which gave me confidence from the start.

For anyone that wants to start their electrolysis journey, Svitlana is the way to go. My priorities when beginning were to find someone knowledgeable, qualified and hygienic, and she is all of those things, in addition to being a genuinely lovely person.

I went into my consultation having done my research, as given that it is an expensive and long-term commitment, I wanted to ask the right questions so that I could be sure that my electrologist knew what they were doing. During my consultation she gave me all the necessary information, gave me a realistic timeline and did a patch test to see how my skin would react to the treatment.

I've been doing electrolysis on my cheeks, chin and neck with Svitlana for 8 months now and I've seen a significant reduction in hair growth (we began with full clearance of the areas taking 4.5 hours and are now at just over 2 hours and the hairs are now much, much finer and a lot less noticeable). I started this journey after trying almost every kind of laser (some of which made my facial hair much worse), and knowing what I know now I wish I had started so much sooner. I used to need to shave my face and neck every day before work and now I will simply trim down any visible hairs around once a week, if needed.

As mentioned, she is very hygienic (which is of utmost important with this kind of treatment, given that needles are involved) and I have witnessed her start to attentively clean every surface (and everything that the client has touched) after each of my sessions.

If you're someone that's concerned about your skin, Svitlana takes so much care when considering which settings to use, and with me she has followed up multiple times after every appointment to check how my skin has reacted to the treatment. She was even kind enough to read through the ingredients of skincare products I sent to her to confirm which would be best to use post-treatment!

Svitlana really makes an effort to make sure that her clients are as happy as possible (a tiny example being, once I came to my appointment wet from the rain and she covered me with a blanket to make sure I was warm during the session!) and I've never felt anything but comfortable with her.

I'm really grateful to her for how much she's helped my confidence and now, when I look at pictures and see the difference between my face 8 months ago and now, I am almost brought to tears everytime. Thank you Svitlana!

The initial consultation was very thorough and she was very understanding of my goals and root issue causing the hair growth. She was very clear and set out the expectations for treatment. The sessions are as pain free as they can be, it's a calming atmosphere and Svitlana has always been very conscious to adjust settings to accomodate my skin. I really appreciate this as hyperpigmentation and other skin sensitivity has been something she has found the right balance with me so I still have treatment but my skin heals nicely between treatments. The progress is definitely visible over the last 8 months of treatment - I have noticed a big reduction in my hair before each treatment and it's great the see positive results exactly as expected. Svitlana also gave me advice on a face wash to use in between treatments and I really appreciated her time and care with this while I found a new skin care routine that would work while I have electrolysis. 10/10 I cannot recommend enough!

I’ve been coming to Svitlana for Electrolysis consistently for the past few months and have seen impressive results in just a few sessions! She’s very professional and is amazing at her craft and has always answered any questions i’ve had and given me advice on how I can get the best outcome for my treatment.

I recently had 3 skin tags removed by Svitlana. I have allergies and contact dermatitis, combined with very sensitive skin. My most problematic area are my underarms. That's where I developed some skin tags which would get itchy from time to time. I am not sure if I would let anyone else (apart from my dermatologist or doctor) touch my underarms, but I have known Svitlana for a long time, and I know if she has any hesitation about anything, she is the first to warn me about it. When I showed Svitlana the skin tags, I was no more worried. I felt completely at ease and fully informed about what will take place during the treatment and what the aftercare will be like. I had skin tags from other body parts removed in the past in a medical centre, and, without exaggeration, I can say the session with Svitlana was just relaxing. I did not feel discomfort I experienced in the past. Svitlana kept in touch with me between the treatment and my follow up apt with her to make sure everything was ok and there weren't any issues. I cared for my skin exactly the way she advised, and it healed completely within 3 weeks. When Svitlana saw my skin again, we had to look for the exact spots where they were as there were no marks left.
