Elite Wine and Whisky Reviews

I have recently been communicating with Thomas Johnson at Elite, who dealt with the sale of my wine. The whole process was smooth and successful. Thomas was responsive to my initial request and ongoing communications. He advised me on the current market situation and explained the process with transparency and integrity. The admin team are very helpful and efficient. The speed of the whole process was great and I was happy with the price that Thomas secured for my wine.
Thank you.

Following an initial enquiry via an online search, I was contacted by Oliver from EW&W who was great. Talked me through the whisky investment from start to finish, options for buying, types of whisky, exit strategies....everything. I did explain that I was not ready to invest, just doing background research, but this didn't change how Oliver approached his work. He continued to advise, help, direct and listen throughout our many phone calls. He was professional, personable and really made me feel at ease and didn't put any pressure on me at any time to pursue an investment.

Since he first made contact, Oliver has steered me through the concept of whisky ownership and I am happy to say that I have now decided to invest in my first ever barrel of whisky. Looking forward to seeing how my investment goes over the next few years.

Such a positive experience, even recommended EW&W to my brother.

I started collecting Whisky and Wine in 2018 with a plan to hold my stock for five years. Harry Robert helped me trade in and out of the market, and his guidance was first-class. In December 2023, Thomas Johnson sold my stock out of the market and showed me a healthy profit of 123%. I want to say thank you, and I wish Elite and the team all the success in 2024.

I have only been with elite wine and whisky for a short time but recently had to sell a few of my casks.dealt with a guy called thomas johnson and i must say the service and communication from thomas was first class.everything was taken care of very swiftly and with no issues.i made a very good profit on the casks more than i anticipated so thankyou thomas.looking forward to continuing more investment with the company into 2024

Harry was great and professional with my transactions. Very good service.

Big thank you to Oliver.
Great experience from start to finish 👌
We sold our small investment we only had for just over one year with a fantastic return will keep the rest and looking forward to making more money in a few years 😀

Have been with EWW for near 3 yrs, due to unforeseen circumstances I had to sell on my Aultmore Hogshead, after a few crosswires Oliver took the reins and sorted things for me in no time at all, top man, would definitely and will invest with EWW again

After many months of difficulties with communication, I spoke to Harry today who was incredibly helpful and managed to sell a whisky barrel and all the finances sorted within a day. The lines of communication today were outstanding and I am very grateful to Harry (and Sophie/ Maisie) for their help.

I’ve been working with Oliver at Elite Wine and Whisky for a few years now and have enjoyed the process of gradually building a portfolio of investments. The fees are reasonable, the service is friendly and personal, and the advice is always based on years of experience. I intend to keep most of my whisky barrels for a relatively long period, but was recently able to sell one of them when I needed some funds and made a healthy return over the two years I’d owned it for. Recommended for anyone thinking of investing in this field.

Thomas has sold wine for me at last, I got back what it cost five years ago. That is important progress to me.
Thank you Thomas.

This is the first time I've dealt with the company and it was a very good experience and a pleasure to do business with. Oliver was very professional, understanding and helpful at all times. Great to be on board.

Being new to investing in this market, it was a pleasure to speak to and deal with Oliver - straightforward and honest and we're delighted with our first foray into the whisky world and looking forward to more in the future!

Excellent service!
We have been dealing with EW&W for almost a year and the quality of their service is superb.
Oliver is always easy to talk to and very knowledgable - he makes buying and selling whisky very straightforward and effortless.
Maisie and Sophie on the admin side are always friendly, helpful and efficient.
It's always a pleasure dealing with the EW&W team!

Thank you Oliver for quick sale of my whiskey cask! I needed to reinvest money after 1 year keeping the cask ,so this gentleman helped me out and sold my cask in no time ,highly recommended!

I was looking for an investment and was interested in Whisky.Oliver and the team were fantastic, explaining every step of the process clearly and professionally. The purchase was so easy and i was so pleased i bought another a few months later. I found myself however needing to sell a cask and Oliver again had everything sorted very quickly. It was a nice suprise as well to find after fees etc i had still made a good 10% profit after only 12 months on the origiinal investment.I really cant recommend Elite Wine and Whisky enough. Excellent !

I can’t recommend Elite Wine and Whisky enough. They are well established and have connections in the whisky world that other companies I considered investing with could only dream of (truth be told I haven’t invested in any wines so I can’t speak to that side of things). However that’s really only half the picture. Regardless of potential, any company like this is really only as good as the person handling your account. Investments like these are not generic and a personalised fit is essential to get the most of your investment. Not only that but the perfect balance of foresight and hustle are necessary to make the most of any interest. Harry is absolutely terrific and I wouldn’t want anyone else handling my account ever. Unlike a lot of these reviews that you read, which may be well intentioned but are written by people who have only experienced one part of a transaction, therefore people who are only semi qualified to make an assessment, I have seen the entire process through, from acquisition to sale so I am very well placed to say how good a job Harry did. From sourcing the right casks for me - creating a portfolio I was very excited to have - to dealing with an exit that was earlier than I had hoped and, critically, earlier than I had advised Harry it would be, he excelled himself and despite my putting a fairly unreasonable rush on things, making his job much more difficult than it could have been, he got me a fantastic return. Throughout he was charming, agreeable and reassuring. I will be investing further, on behalf of myself and my daughter and it will be Harry that I will be requesting look after both accounts.

I recently had a situation where I needed to sell one of my casks .
I contacted Cameron at elite wine and whiskey and could not have been more understanding and helpfull .
He arranged the sale within two days ,put me through to Maisie who dealt with the transactions. There was no problem getting my value of the cask for me and sending the money to my account.
This gives me added security and confidence in the company and individuals. As soon as things change in my favour I have no doubt I will be purchasing further casks through Elite with Cameron in the not too distant future.

I purchased a cask via Oliver sometime in 2021, which I completed the sale of today. As a somewhat risk averse investor, I was slightly nervous about Elite Wine and Whiskey and their offer. However, I have just completed the sale of my cask, and in a little over a year, received an extremely decent return on my investment. The sale itself was ever so smooth. Brief delay only due to Oliver being on annual leave. As soon as he returned, I was immediately contacted both via email and on the phone to explain the sale process step by step. My sale process was then formally initiated, with investment plus tax free interest back in my account 3 working days later !!
Highly recommend Elite Wine and Whiskey, and in particular Oliver. Extremely knowledgeable and experienced in dealing with any niggling issues I had. Thank you Oliver, I look forward to reinvesting with you again.

Spoke with Harry Roberts just over a year ago and started to build a portfolio of casks.
Had a call recently to suggest it was time to sell one. 14 months and 15% profit. Very easy and not at all hard sell. Happily recommend.

I had to say a big thanks to Tyler Miller who has done everything he said he would - I know these are long term investments and circumstances changed as they do - Tyler still managed to get me a profit on a cask of whisky after only a year - I am very grateful and when my circumstances change again I will be grabbing more casks thanks Tyler keep up the good work
