London Cask Traders Reviews

The process was very smooth. Thanks to the team for making my investment process so easy to go through

My partner and I were invited to a tour of the Volpe & Castello bonded warehouse, by Sam R from LCT, to better understand how casks were stored/processed.
The facility was very impressive and the guide was able to show everyone the location of their Cask(s). The guide also went over their process for bottling or transferring whisky from one cask to another which was useful to consider once a cask reached a certain maturity.
The tour was topped off with a pub lunch where the group was able to discuss the tour, ask questions around whisky investment, hear about the company a bit more and chat to other investors.
The whole day was very enjoyable and I would recommend it to any other clients of LCT.

I’ve been with LCT since 2024 and they have always been easy to work with. Sam R (my current POC) is always open and honest about cask purchases and overall strategy.

Overall experience around my cask investment journey so far is positive!

excellent day at V&P warehouse. nice to have the opportunity to see where our casks are kept and how they are looked after. Sam was our host and was a very friendly, professional and knowledgeable young man. really enjoyed the day. thank you Sam

The whole procedure was very informative and professionally explained, from seminar on back ground of whisky, to buying and storage.

Had a great day visiting the warehouse and getting to see my casks in person. I think the company does a really good job of giving clients the chance to see where their casks are held and learn more about the investment. Sam and Oliver were both really welcoming, and the tour and lunch were great. Really enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely recommend them.

The whole experience was great, the LCT (Alice) was very accommodating with any queries and replied swiftly, Andrew who toured us in the warehouses was very informative, answered all questions and very polite.
Sam one of the LCT reps who attended the tour was also very professional, informative and accommodating.
Would definitely attend again.

Learnt so much on the tour of the Bonded Warehouses and got to see where my investment casks were stored.
This is a massive operation and a complete eye opener, we even saw the bottling in operation - option for the future when whisky is suitably matured.
Many thanks to London Cask Traders for providing this unique opportunity.

David answered my questions well and i am glad i have made a purchace with him.

Being new to the whiskey market and now having purchased a few casks London cask traders service and knowledge has been great. Their knowledge of the market and guidance through the whole process has a personal touch as well as understanding your goals whether short or long term the team caters to your every need. I would recommend

Having only been with London Cask Traders for approx 4 months I can only go buy my experience so far. All the staff I have spoken with are very helpful take the time to listen and answer any concerns I might have. There has been plenty of communication via phone calls, emails keeping me informed as to how the market is performing and educating me on how the market works.

I first came across London Cask Traders out of curiosity through Instagram in 2025. After reaching out to them, their CEO, Mark Biss, got in touch with me personally and introduced me to whisky cask investment. At the time, I was completely new to this type of investment, so I took the time to understand how it worked, do my own research and consider whether it was right for me.

I found the opportunity interesting, but financially, the timing wasn’t right for me then, so I decided to wait.

Earlier this summer, I was contacted again by David Jackson from London Cask Traders. I remembered my previous conversation with the company, and after speaking with him and learning more, I felt that the timing was finally right. I’m glad he reached out again because it gave me the opportunity to revisit something I had been interested in for some time.

I decided to go ahead with my first whisky cask investment, and so far, my experience with London Cask Traders has been very positive. The team has been professional, responsive and supportive throughout the process. Whenever I’ve had questions, they have been quick to respond, provide the information I need and guide me through each stage.

As someone who was initially completely new to whisky cask investment, having a team that is willing to explain the process and remain available throughout has given me a lot of confidence.

I’m looking forward to continuing this journey, learning more about the whisky industry and seeing how my investment develops over time.

Thank you to the team at London Cask Traders for the support and guidance so far.

Great service and information ahead of, during and after investment.

The whole day was excellent. We had a guided tour of three warehouses and the bottling plant. It was very professionally delivered and very informative. Josh then took us to a hotel where we had a lovely dinner. 10/10 Thank you very much for an excellent day👍

The tour guide was friendly and knew what he was talking about and they explained the whole storage process very well. Joshua from London Cask Trading was a real gentleman.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service I’ve received. I invested in a whisky cask in June 2023 and have spent the last year trying to sell it and withdraw my money. Despite countless phone calls, I’m repeatedly given the same vague updates with no real progress.
At one point I was told my cask was a “priority” to sell, yet during a later conversation I was informed it had been completely forgotten about while newer casks were sold instead. They were quick enough to take my money, but certainly not as quick to help me get it back.
Overall, my experience with London Cask Traders has been far from satisfactory, and I wouldn’t recommend them based on how I’ve been treated.

Investing in whisky for the first time can be a little daunting and feel quite theoretical and non-tangible, but my communication with London Cask Traders has been helpful and reassuring. They are in regular contact by phone and email. Recently for the first time I was able to go along to one of their regular dinner and whisky tasting evenings. It was really nice to actually meet someone from the company in person, whilst having a delicious meal with some fantastic whisky. I would definitely recommend London Cask Traders.

I couldn’t fault LTC if I tried, they have been so helpful every step of the buying journey and meeting them in person really gives me confidence in everyone at the company. The event was brilliant too with an unique range of Macallan whisky to try and an industry expert it was amazing! 10/10
