London Cask Traders Reviews

I have dealt with these guys (and girls) for over 3 years now and have bought and sold numerous casks. their knowledge of the market is superb, i have been on Distillery tours and seen my casks stored in the V&C bonded warehouse (following the BBC documentory on whisky traders) and all my casks are held on the warehouse database under my name not LCT. (you do need an account with the Bonded warehouse)
I am very comfortable trading with this company and will continue to do so.

I'm a professional photographer with 16 years experience, and I’ve worked with London Cask Traders Ltd a couple of times this year, documenting their bonded-warehouse client tours, here in Fife, Scotland. Each session has been really positive. LCT are easy to work with and their passion for what they do and the services they provide is clear.

Particularly, Oliver Court, (LCT Managing Director) brings deep knowledge of his subject and a genuine passion that makes the experience richer.

He’s clearly invested in every detail. It’s obvious this approach gives their clients a brilliant experience , and I love being able to capture that.

Expect guidance on Cask selection by the sales agents and your asked what your investment requirements are whether they be short or long term. Seemless transaction and paperwork provided promptly. Regular arranged bonded warehouse visits & whisky tasting events. Really easy to get hold of the agents to discuss your investments performance. I have made two purchases to date & currently hold 4 casks.Highly recommended.

Bought my first cask today as my first ever investment. Ben was brilliant and made everything go as smooth as possible, no trouble or doubts with buying from London Cask Traders. Will definitely be buying more in the future.

Great team, especially Billy Daly and Alice. I had lots of reservations about Whisky investment. Yes at the higher end, big name whisky brands, big money its a proven investment. However down at the £3-15k end not so much certainty. Took a 'punt' and bought a number of casks in 2023. Bought one at £7.5k and just sold for £10k so pretty good profit for just under 2 years.

I bought my first cask today with the friendly and professional help of Omar and the team at London Cask Traders. The whole experience was relaxed with no pressure selling or urgency. If you are considering investing in Whiskey then you cannot ask for a better service than the one LCT provides, I highly recommend them.

Excellent customer services from all staff and a massive thanks to louis whom first called and convinced me to invest in their company (lol) London Cask Traders he was very honest and friendly throughout the process, he explained everything I needed to know aswel as answering any of my queries, he's got great customer skills
also thanks to Alice & Daniel who helped with my puchasing and setting up processes etc,

I have received sound advice since investing with London cask traders, they have be supportive and lovely to deal with when I sold one of my two casks. The sale process was quick and made easy by the team

As a first-time investor, I had an excellent experience with Mark at London Cask Traders last October. Mark was knowledgeable, patient, and never pushy—he took the time to explain everything clearly and helped me feel confident in my investment.

The process was smooth, with clear documentation and easy access to a client portal where I can track my casks details. Knowing my casks are fully insured and securely stored in an HMRC-bonded warehouse adds real peace of mind.

I started knowing very little about whisky investment, but Mark made the learning curve straightforward and enjoyable.

I feel confident about the long-term potential thanks to Mark’s honest guidance—no unrealistic promises, just clear facts. Even after the purchase, Mark and the Team has been responsive and supportive.

Thank you, Mark—highly recommended to anyone starting out with whisky cask investing.

Fantastic company. Unfortunately I had to sell my two casks after 2 years due to unforeseen circumstances. Mark talked me through the options and told me exactly what was what. During a stressful time of moving country mark made a small part of it stress free

First-time investor.

I reached out to London Cask Traders (LCT) for some info on investments; how, why, when, this was not some cold-calling asking for my money.

I was put through to Marty, who took me through the whole process, explaining the pros, cons, and why it would be a good investment. I put him through 10s of questions, which he answered with ease and thoroughly, clearly and master of his trade.

He has kept me updated with the recent ongoings within the whisky investment trade, and I am pleased I will be dealing with him in the future.

I am now a happy owner of some fine whisky, and very much looking forward to seeing what happens in the future.

Thank you.

Scam, nothing more than a scam. Beware!

Marty and the team are superb. End to end are easy to deal with and ask any questions. They treat you like valuable customers even if you decide not to do anything. Would recommend to use them to anyone.

Great experience from purchase to delivery order

Highly recommend London Cask Traders. Mark and the Team have been brilliant from the start. As this was our first Whisky cask investment, we took time with the Due diligence and they didn't put any pressure on us to make a decision. In the end, we went for an Ardmore Cask and will explore more in the future. They have also been very responsive and reassuring at times when other Whisky Traders have been in the news for the wrong reasons. Great service.

I did some checks before I invested in you , ie rang LCT and asked to speak to certain people I’d spoken to .
And they were there .

The process of buying and conformation of purchase seemed long and drawn out and I had some concerns of a genuine purchase .
It seems it’s all good now and I’m happy I own a barrel of Ardmore whisky.

First time investor. Great experience. Staff are really helpful and knowledgeable. Looking forward to seeing how our relationship grows over the coming years.
Would highly recommend LCT to others!
