Delayed shipping, bad response times, bad items. pretty simple. Just a scam.

I placed a preorder in early July for a pair of jeans originally priced at $192, which I purchased for $154 after a discount. What followed was nearly two months of delays, vague timelines, and ultimately an unnecessarily difficult refund process.

After receiving no meaningful shipping update for nearly a month, I followed up in early August asking for an ETA. I was told there was a delay and was given another estimated timeframe. On August 19, after continuing to wait, I followed up again and specifically asked for an actual estimated delivery date because the previous timelines were vague.

I was eventually told to expect the order by the end of August. The end of August came and went with no shipment, no tracking information, and no further update.

On September 2, after waiting nearly two months, I emailed Elysian and told them to simply cancel my order. Given the repeated delays and lack of communication, and because I didn’t know whether or when they would actually process the cancellation, I also opened a PayPal dispute that same day.

Elysian responded:

“The order has been opened for a chargeback; therefore, there is nothing we can [do] on our end.”

When I questioned that response, I was subsequently told:

“We don’t deal with PayPal directly and have never gave a response to PayPal.”

However, on September 13, I spoke directly with PayPal regarding the dispute, and the PayPal representative confirmed to me that the seller had responded to the case. I have a recording of that conversation. This directly contradicted what I had been told by Elysian.

The frustrating part is that the preorder being delayed isn’t even my primary issue. Delays happen. My issue is the repeated shifting timelines, lack of proactive communication, failure to deliver within the estimates I was given, and the contradictory information I received once I requested my money back.

I gave this company multiple opportunities to fulfill the order. I waited nearly two months, repeatedly followed up myself, and only requested cancellation after another promised timeframe passed without the merchandise shipping.

I shouldn’t have had to continually chase a company for basic updates on an order they already had my money for, and getting my money back shouldn’t have turned into another drawn-out process.

I’m leaving this review so prospective customers—particularly anyone considering purchasing a preorder—can make an informed decision based on my experience. I never received the merchandise and ultimately had to pursue my refund through PayPal. I have retained the emails, screenshots, and documentation of the PayPal dispute to substantiate everything described above.

Terrible awful experience. Pants I received look nothing like what was advertised in photos or on model. Ordered bootcut pants and instead got giant straight legged slabs for pants. Refer to model pictures and they look completely different.

Company ignores emails, especially those of dissatisfied customers. Look at their Instagram and you will see people complaining. The owner rejects people's claims and ridicules his own customers with ads making fun of them. He also sends his peers in the comments to pretend as if they are genuine customers to argue with his customers.

The owner had me send the pants back, rather than refund me he took a week to "analyze" them. He then refused to refund me so I told him I was going to file a dispute with my bank. The owner fought the dispute and won. The owner still refuses to send me back my pants or refund me so this company has essentially stolen from me.

This website pricing was in GBP so I didn't realise it is a US retailer when I placed the order. Neither was it made clear it was a pre-order so when I chased my order 3 weeks later I was told the Jeans had to be made and would take 7 weeks. Eventually arrived 11.5 weeks later, with an extra fee in import duty, and instead of Jeans and Backpack, I got Jeans and a hoody. They were quick to refund, but I have no way to get my import duty refunded. A £130 pair of jeans cost me £220 in total (after shipping and import tax) and took nearly 3 months to get here.

Ship extremely fast. Got my order in within 2 days. Amazing quality, love my blanks and my denim. Defintiely would buy again.

I payed over $150 almost three weeks ago now, and the package hasn't even been shipped from their warehouse yet. They have no email to contact. I am going to assume this is a scam business, but I will update if I ever get something in the mail. Will be reporting as fraud to my bank and trying to get my money back if not.
