(I get weighed at the doctor and pay more attention to how my clothes fit than a weight number). It was a total waste of $149.

I was looking to learn more about my health and see what options are out there. When I ordered my eMed kit, it arrived at my door the NEXT day.
The instructions were simple, I scanned the QR code and unboxed the kit. It came with a stand for my cell phone and the person on the other side, was very helpful including with the blood collection process, which was painless.
It came with a pre-paid next day FedEx label and my results were back to me in the app in just a few days. I learned where and how I can improve.
Highly recommend.

eMed is THE best way to take weight loss medications. Their customer service is extremely responsive, they send a care package to reduce side effects, they help you track your weight and health improvements, and they tell you exactly how to safely administer the medications. I would have been lost without them. 10/10 recommend!

They were helpful with doing the testing, but then when I had a UTI there was no further action to treat it. They just said go see a doctor. I could easily have bought the UTI test strip for a couple of dollars at CVS to find that out, I was hoping for actual treatment and I have insurance.

eMed is getting worse and worse by day, been their staff have mentioned it to me. So afraid there will be more and more people fired as well.
I was recommended Babylon (now eMed) by a friend, and all I could do for the first two years was rave about it.
As a teacher, I can't just book off a few hours here and there when I have the sniffles or need a blood test, so eMed was an effortless, streamlined and efficient way to quickly get a diagnosis, a prescription, and in my mind, unclog doctors surgeries and emergency wards. I could have shouted from the rooftops my praise. This is of course not mentioning all the incredible staff, each and every one has been outstanding - faultless.
Now to why eMed is getting one star; I started to smell a rat as time went on and it got very complicated to get an appointment (before, sometimes within hours)... then they started to lay off staff at an incredible rate. How do I know this? The staff were all saying it, scared they would be next. This all came after being swiftly bought out, first the logo and swish new televisions and "weight loss pill" ads... and now a not efficient sign-in iPad where we are now required to go through a list of every staff member we could have an appointment with to select the correct one. Before one could talk to someone via their chat service, but since one has to select if one is private or NHS... you can guess why I am writing this review, 15 minutes into a 47-minute weight time... unheard of.
I have a condition which means I have free prescriptions, and let me say, it is life-threatening... and I find it shocking that I am now having to waste more time trying to get an appointment, to get a blood test, to be again prescribed the medication I need to live... and yet... I emailed... a week ago. No response. I have a week left of my medication, and then what am I supposed to do?
This is exactly what happens when an American business buys up something, it sees as an investment. Sure, make your money, but you are working in the field of healthcare where supposedly one puts the human first. This is another issue that swings in the balance of the haves and the have-nots. Can I afford to go private? No, I cannot, however, if anything were to go wrong they and I would go knocking on the NHS. Emed wants its cake and wants to eat it too.
Your company is in a shambles. Less staff, no appointments... or as I have recently discovered by the wording of their staff via the chat, no appointments for the type of booking you require. Safe to say we can all read through the lines; if I were to pay, I could have an appointment, and yet here I am with 23 minutes left to wait to speak to someone who will inevitably tell me there is nothing to do, and to wait for Thursday when they release appointments to the plebs that are waiting on the third class deck on the Titanic, waiting for the upper classes to board the lifeboats, but once we realise that none remain, we cling to the scraps of wood remaining.
To parody the famous missquoted Marie Antoinette, by the time eMed wakes up, it will neither be bread nor cake that we will have left, but a mere crumb!

A £149 charge appeared on my card and I received an email that I've subscribed to eMed Ultra.
No idea where they got my email or card number.
Scary stuff.
Edit.. In the response below eMed claims to look forward to my response. However, I have immediately contacted them as per the details provided below, and to date they have not responded to my email.

Stay Away. Maybe the company is going bust
I had an account with this company, which I cancelled in April of this year. Today, out of the blue, I received an email stating that I have been subscribed to their ultra plan. I did not subscribe to any plans, yet they have also taken money from my account. When I called them to enquire, they claimed to have no idea what happened and abruptly hung up. It seems possible that the company is facing financial difficulties and is taking money from old customers' bank accounts without authorisation. I am trying to call them again but no answer.
