Emerald Home Improvements Reviews

Many thanks. Great windows fitted. Many thanks to the fitters, Phil and Tez. Great job. Look great.

High quality professional work. Great customer service.

Lads were on time, curteous and friendly

From the first visit to the installation, the team at Emerald have been professional, friendly and really helpful.

The fitters work quick, clean and were really lovely and polite in the house - it was money very well spent

Installers arrived slightly earlier than expected and got straight to work with a little light lubrication. Did a good Job installing the replacement window, and corrected issues they found with previous installation to ensure they didn't have to return to make any corrective actions on their own work. Protective sheets laid down where they had to go in and out to their van, everything installed neatly and cleaned up thoroughly when they had finished. Showed us how to use the window and where the catch points were for varying degrees of ventilation.

Excellent window and a exact like for like replacement.Strong and very secure locking system and very happy with product. Installation team was quick efficient and left area clean after finished. Highly rated and recommended.

Emerald put a new glass roof on our bespoke wood framed conservatory several years ago. The original conservatory was not created by Emerald but they were asked to replace the existing polycarbonate panels, (not fitted by them). They needed scaffolding, both inside and out to complete the project, demonstrating that their expertise is not limited to erecting their own designs. The original work and the finishing touches were excellent. Due to the extreme weather we have recently been experiencing, a length of guttering came down. I contacted Emerald, half expecting them to tell me that storm damage was not covered by the 10 year guarantee. I needn’t have worried. Steve the fitter came out and proposed modifying the design of the original gutter fitting and a couple of days later the work was completed. I don’t know if Neil (the boss) vets his staff for their personalities as well as their obvious skills, but they are all friendly and very personable. I am very pleased we had the original work done by Emerald and this call out and the work done reinforces my high opinion of Emerald.

Steve and Gary were polite, tidy, and did a lovely job on the conservatory roof.

Word of warning, they are required to put up a "Emerald Home Improvements Derby" advertisment on the front of the home, they might forget to mention it, but it will be removed after the job is done.

The electrician had unfortunately left the electrics in poor condition, but returned immediately after it was reported and fixed the issue, replacing the fixtures. He was very quick and left within 5 minutes.

When the electricians originally came on site I was not warned two stranger men would be entering my property, and they did not introduce themselves despite my presence (this is genuinely very concerning and a little frightening) hopefully going forward this team will make more of an effort to communicate when unannounced team members arrive on site.

We needed a replacement roof on our conservatory and had to have it in place before Christmas. Emerald provided excellent service. Following the installation, there was an electrical issue with a wall light. They not only rectified it, but replaced the light fitting with a similar one free of charge. We have a log burner in our conservatory which Emerald funded the service for.

The service was first class, and we also have a 10yr guarantee

Thank you Emerald we would definitely recommend your services

To begin, mark & dan, came and did some long overdue work, fitting a lintel, and sorting the brickwork above it, did a nice job, on a very cold day.
Then steve & callum arrived, and replaced my window, with a lovely new one, made a huge difference to my house, no more sagging brickwork, and nice new window, thank you guys for doing a lovely job, and giving attention to detail.

Pleased with pilkington blue tinted glass in our replaced conservatory roof with fitters Gary & Steve doing a fine job in two days. Perhaps slightly expensive but then you get what you pay for.The surveyor explained things very well so we were in the picture.Would certainly recommend Emerald.

I'm extremely happy with the quality of the doors. The fitters were brilliant. They worked efficiently and cleanly. They finished round all the frames, inside and out, making a very neat and tidy job. They also removed all the rubbish.
Thank you very much
