CROOKS DO NOT USE! Over priced and they don’t pay contractors! Always going into liquidation! Funny that after they’ve taken your cash. We did a number of jobs for them, submitted invoices that never got paid. Tried a debt collecting agency but they said they had several cases arrive on their desk for the same problem. Sadly they’ll just open up again under a new name and keep on ripping trades off!

If I could give a lower marking I would. They only guarantee their work for 30 days and after that you have to pay the extortionate fees for them to come out again.
Plumber came to fix a small leak under the bath - he said he didn’t have the items needed and if I went to B&Q and purchased it he would come back and fit. I did, he came back, fitted it and said it was now fine - a day later it was still leaking, called him directly as he gave me his direct number and eventually he came out a week later and fixed it.
It still leaked.
Called him several times again and he now never answers!!!
Will never EVER use this company again!!!
And I’d suggest no one else in Plymouth does either - now I’m looking for another plumber to come out

The biggest scam company ever . 12 months of none payment for work carried out by my company . Is it at all possible for company’s like mine to get together . We could bring a law suit against these crooks .

Are these guys frauds. They were due today. Mobile number was given no reply, company phone engaged all day, another number unobtainable and I stupidly gave them a deposit of £135. No confirmation of appt. So now the investigations begin. Do not touch them.

Was contacted by them to carry out a fault call. Agreed an hourly rate and sorted the problem. Customer was charged over double what I charged. Having read some reviews I was skeptical about being paid - and I was right. No money ever arrived from these thieves. And now just received a letter saying they have appointed liquidators. Theres a lot of angry tradesmen owed money from this thief. Hope you get whats coming

They are now trading as ERG Homes I'm owed money like all the contractors here . But it looks like our Mr O'Mahony has upset the wrong people this time. There are some very tough contractors who I wouldn't want to upset, as they do not like been ripped off and will always put right a wrong against them. Oh dear !!! and Mr O'Mahony seems such a nice caring honest person LOL . I will be watching the local news in the Essex area I feel this one has a long way to run yet .

This is not a pest control company. They subcontract work out from a call centre in Southend on Sea. It will be better to use a local company.

Please if anyone knows the whereabouts of the director or anyone linked to Patrick the con man could you email me the details on boilerrepairsyorkshire…… @ outlook… dot…: com. They owe me £3800 I’ve done over 30 jobs for them and not paid a single invoice. The whole team knew what was going to happen. They come on rouge traders before and didn’t learn their lesson. I want to take this man out and not let him live in peace I don’t care if I get put behind bars because it’s the principle that counts. I got 3 children and a family to feed whilst this con man sleeps with mine and other contractors money in his pockets. I make a promise to you Patrick I will come for you. The law can do what it wants they never shut you down after they exposed you on TV and I’ll be the hero that puts an end to you. Your won’t live in peace this is my promise. Companies house and a couple of paid searches will lead me to you. Look forward to what’s coming you con man. Been a contractor for them and had to refuse work as they were not paying, owed me over £4k at the time, paid some but closed without letting any engineers know still owing me over £1500, and I’m only a one man company, they owed other companies thousands. Any company with Laurence Patrick O’Mahony involved in is not to be trusted as a customer or contractor. I knew they had been on watchdog but always give companies the benefit of the doubt and that they would sort themselves out, not this guy, couldn’t even make the staff at his call centre redundant in person, had a liquidation company do it instead and is probably in hiding, needs to be with all the people he owes money too. Con man and multi failed business owner who let’s others suffer with his debts then walks away, serial git

He has done this multiple times

We are a plumbing and heating contractor who worked with ERG. They have never paid us even though they charge customers £135+vat up front and owe us £4000.00.

They are criminals.

If you need any trade please google someone local. Local will be cheaper and you'll be helping someone honest out not greedy scum.

All the staff seem friendly but they knew exactly what they were doing. They are scammers as much as the owner.

I hear they have gone under which is a amazing news for everyone. I just hope they get their just deserves down the line.

A total rip off!! I work for a charity who run a care home, We had an issue with heating in part of our building. it was in a room which we had just refurbished as a movie/activities room for our residents and was due to be officially opened in a few days. as this was really important to our residents and needed fixing quickly I went to ERG Facilities. They agreed a price of £185+vat for the job, which sounded reasonable to replace some radiator valves so I accepted. I had to supply my own bank details to secure the attendance but as this was important for our residents I went ahead. After cancelling one appointment a plumber attended the day before the grand opening but told me he would have to quote for the works as it would cost more than quoted due to needing to hire equipment. He promised to send me a quote (which has not materialised) and left. Minutes later I had £222 taken from my bank account by ERG, I contacted them by phone and was passed round 3 times before being told that I was paying £185+vat for a quote. This is not what I had agreed and made an official complaint. A few days later I received a response telling me this is what I had agreed and I should wait for the quote. I have not received the quote or further communication and I am now taking this up with trading standards. To be charged £222 just for a plumber to come and look at a job is a joke, I have not even received a quote, every tradesman I know provides quotes for free!! Basically ERG Facilities are a rip off merchant who sub contract to local trades and charge you a premium. They then automatically charge you regardless of what work has been done. Do not use ERG go direct to your local trades instead. Looking at other feedback I can see they cannot be trusted. If only I had seen the negative feedback before I approached them. When they are prepared to rip off people who work for a charity what else are they prepared to do???

Company owes me £1500. Was hounding me everyday for job, then it went silent since Wednesday. Found out today they are in liquidation. Scumbags.. all those local tradesmen they've just destroyed!!

These crooks already owe me over £1000 in outstanding invoices! They called me last tuesday (October 31) asking me to take more work on, luckily i declined saying not until my outstanding bill was cleared. What gets me is that they must have known on the day before they were liquidating the next day (Nov 1) yet were still trying to get me to take more work? They knew i would never be paid but they would have taken the customers money?!?! i feel sorry for all of the people like me who have been left being owed thousands, but even more so for those who did work in the lead up who were clearly defrauded. This is CRIMINAL.

Do not work for these they will lie and fob you off For months and then have the audacity to send you more jobs and make excuses that they have a backlog that they are sorting those. A few months will pass and they will go into liquidation. Then lay low to return and then scam another team of honest hard working trades men out of there livelihoods. I swear your organisation is full of nothin But crooks and thief’s avoid and spread the word so no one has the misfortune of dealing with them and they and there families can all rot with what blood money they are eating from!

This company is going into liquidation owing contractors - the small businesses who do its work for a much lower fee than customers pay - thousands of pounds. We've been trying to get payment for months but have been ignored. Doubtful we'll get any payment at all now, please avoid.
