Company to be insolvent on November 15th 2023. Contractors unlikely to be paid.

Dredful company been to a job they sent someone out to had to re do it we were 78% cheaper than what they charged the customer dredful company 💩😤🚱

Scumbags. Owe me money for pest control work. They have gone into liquidation

Electrical contractor, done some jobs but luckily not a lot.

Owed money so we did not continue doing any jobs. After some due diligence was obvious this was a scam.

The owner laurence o'mahony has a long list of these scams. Hopefully he will get caught soon

My company worked for ERG and now around 20k is still pending, i do appeal to govt to sale out all business and personal assets of the director and paid to all technicians who worked because is was very clear scam with customers and also with technicians.

I’m owed money as a plumber and have just found out these crooks have wound up as opposed to paying their debts. Criminal
It took me 4 months to get my money from them last time, on a quiet week I took the jobs!!

ERG are the biggest crooks going. My partner is an engineer and for the past year or so has had nothing but trouble with payment. Having to threaten them just to get payment is disgusting. We have had a letter through the post to say they have gone into liquidation, it’s money my partner has now worked for and will not get paid for. This company is disgusting. Takes payment off customers even before engineers have attended and have trouble paying engineers despite promising payment every 30 days after invoice. Disgusting

My heart goes out to all those engineers that have completed their jobs in good faith that won't now get paid.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news for anyone these crooks owe money to, but they went into liquidation on Wednesday. About 50 staff let go on the spot unpaid (including myself). Shocking that they were still sending the engineers to do work and taking customer payments up until the last minute knowing full well that they were not gonna pay the engineers for that work!

Writing this as an sub contractor electrician in London area.
I have worked for this company the past 4 years now. This year they fell behind on payment big time.
I was naive and let it build up. Call it my stupidity. They owe in excess of 20k. I'm gutted as I have the feeling they have gone into administration. Phones not working. Emails are not being responded. App chat is not working. All gone tits up for me. From reading other reviews, looks like I'm not the only 1 they shafted. Hope people did not loose out as much as I did. All the best to those who suffered in the hands of this company.

Still waiting to get paid, worst experience, never ever, they do not answer to your calls. More than 2 months now trying to get the money. Avoid at all cost

I am reviewing as a contractor.
If you are a trades person DO NOT USE as they do not pay there bills.
I have worked for them as a plumber for the last few months. And all invoices remain outstanding.
When I ring them now their phones are constantly engaged. They continue to ignore my Emails etc etc.
This company are an absolute rip off.
As a customer seeking to get work done use a local trades person as they will serve you much better and also be half the price.

Booked boiler service - they took my credit card info. No body showed up, none of their phone numbers answer anymore.
Update: I checked back again tonight and realised that the company (and their website) is permanently closed.

We have attend as subcontractors at the request of ERG. We have several outstanding invoices for payment, and after many calls no payments have been made. Please don’t use, they are charging an excessive amount to customers and very rarely pay the people who attend the job.

Hi I was was very impressed with the plumber who came to my park home talked me through every step what he was doing and made sure I understood and was happy which was great

My review is based as a subcontractor for ERG. If you are a business and have been thinking of subcontracting to ERG, please do not waste your time. I have never been paid for a single job I’ve completed. Their invoices are 5 months overdue and they ignore my calls.

I don't suppose a customer could care less if a sub-contractor is not paid by ERG, but any 5* rating given on this site, reflects the capability and professionalism of the TRADE that attended the job, NOT ERG. ERG are just a call centre and have no sub-contractors of their own.
Rather than forming long-term and trusting relationships with trades, stupidly ERG are commiting business suicide by conning trades and not paying them! Do they not realise that if they have no sub-contractors to do the work, they will have no business!

Although I was told that we would get a plumber to our blocked loo the same day, the person who should have come, called in sick. However, these things happen and someone arrived the next morning, when expected and completed the job for us. My phone conversations with the company were unfailingly courteous and polite and I would happily use the company again.

The whole process of booking an electrician was simple and straightforward. The call was answered quickly and I was given all the information I needed.
The electrician arrived within the time frame and carried out the job carefully and tidily. He followed health and safety procedures whilst working and ensured the installation was safe before finishing. I would recommend this company.
