Helpful, honest, prompt house clearance. I wanted house clearance at short notice, Curtis was helpful, communicated well and was clear about the service he provided. Clearance was carried out with little fuss. Price was good.

From the outset, these chaps were outstanding. Following the passing of my mother, my wife contacted Colchester House Clearances and spoke with Brad, a very courteous and polite young man, who understood what we were going through. He arranged for his father, Roy, to attend at the property at a convenient time to take photographs and on the same day, they furnished us with a quotation which was very reasonable. They assured us that everything would be cleared within the day and it was just as they had promised.
I can’t thank them enough for helping in what is a stressful situation.

Curtis from Essex House Clearances has just cleared my late mother's house for me. I was happy to accept Curtis's price for the job, which seemed very fair, there was a lot to shift because my mother was something of a collector of things (anything!) for over 90 years!
All I have to do now is remove remaining food and fluids (these can't be taken which was made clear at the outset). To do the job myself would have cost more and taken me a couple of weeks full-time, so I am very pleased. It took them an initial visit to pack some fragile bits and a very full day to remove everything that remained.
On top of this Curtis and his assistant were really friendly people to deal with and worked very hard to get the job done.

Essex HousecClearance kindly donated free of charge a large amount of new end of line clearance clothing to Uk-Aid. This aid has already been delivered to Chernihiv Ukraine. It was taken into the country by military personnel for the Ukrainian people who have lost everything due to the war. They wish to convey their thanks as we do.
