Our move went smoothly
Our move went smoothly, the two drivers were on time as well in England as in Spain, friendly and very helpful.Everything was taken out of the rooms even upstairs .Once in Spain our belongings were placed in the different rooms .Nothing was to much.We are very happy with the move and the service provided.
The only thing that was not so good was that one of the Van's was not watertight and some boxes were wet.
Overall like we said we received an excellent service and would use European moving again.

The company is dissolved since Nov 2021 check: company house: 08712204
We didn't know this when we booked with them in January and they cancelled less then 24hrs before the move and they kept all our money, it was rather expensive to find a last minute replacement service. Do not trust the positive reviews.

Please let us explain the situation here, as with all companies whom are cross-boarder trading or linked to air travel we have also been affected by Corona Virus and Brexit the past 2 years. This has unfortunately meant that some of our smaller subsidiary companies in certain countries have been closed down over this period to reduce office and staffing costs. Any companies that have been closed have been done so within the laws of each country. New companies in such countries will be re-opened when the market conditions allow us to open again. Our main holding company European Moving Limited, Malta some 10 years old is unaffected and shipments throughout Europe continue in the normal manor on day to day basis.
Any customers whom have had shipments delayed or cancelled are invited to stay in touch with our payments or claims teams where each case is being investigate and credits or refunds will be issued in due course to very small minority of customers where things did go wrong.
We would ask you to understand we are an extremely high volume operation shipping +4000 movements per year (in normal times) and therefore its inevitable that things can take a bit of time to sort out, this being both at an administration and legal level. We wish to make clear that any customers no matter how small the issue should be writing to claims@europeanmoving.org where you will be assigned a case number and you also receive updates when we have them for you.
Our sincere apologies to any clients affected over past months but please be assured all cases will be dealt with in due course and that with current shipping conditions things are complete unaffected.

Still waiting for European moving to pay the CCJ for the money they owe me. This is not my first comment but this is the only way I get any kind of response.
How they are still in business is beyond me. We have now created a Facebook group for the victims of European moving struggling to get a refund !

NEVER employ this company!
I strongly recommend NEVER employing European Moving for any moving service. We were suppposed to move from Liverpool to Amsterdam in April 2021, and prior to our move, European Moving assured us that everything was in order. On the day of our move, however, we were told that there was no van, and that we would have to wait 2 weeks for another one.
This was clearly a breach of contract, but European Moving did not admit their fault. They did not take responsibiity for the thousands of pounds of additional costs they incurred as a result of their failure to provide services as contracted. And they have still, a month later, not refunded the payment made for a move that was never effected, notwithstanding their written promise to do so.
In short, European Moving cannot be trusted to move your belongings, nor to return your money when they fail to do so. Do not hire them.
UPDATE: European Moving, as my and other posts on this site can attest, continues to provide false claims and refuse to make refunds. Not withstanding their response (see below), they (a) have not contacted me; and (b) have not issued a refund.
As others have said: don't believe the positive reviews - you should NEVER employ this company.
SECOND UPDATE (2022): After more than 12 months, European Moving has still not refunded the payment made for fraudulent services. A court judgement was issued against them in the UK legally requiring that they provide payment. They have made no response.
European Moving is not a legitimate company. Do not hire them, ever.

While we did manage to weather the first lockdown despite a serious downturn in volume, these changes of rules also coincided with a secondary lockdown across Europe. The 2 issues together meant that the situation got so bad that our European drivers would not take the chance to come to the UK and risk being blocked on their way back and/or due to the risks at the time associated with Covid19. This lack of drivers, often at the last minute, resulted in a few people not receiving the service they were expecting and had paid for, on top of a dramatic fall in our turnover.
We are working hard to resolve these issues and we shall contact you individually in the coming week.

I am writing a second review since the lady responded to mine saying it take 90 days to get a refund but the 90 days have now passed since I booked the services on the first week of February, and still nobody gave me back my money! How are they aloud to get away with this
Still waiting for my belongings to be shipped. They should have been collected at the end of January. We have paid in full and are now paying for storage until they hold up their side of the contract.
We haven’t cancelled because as you can see from reviews here. People are waiting for refunds from August 2020.
The most infuriating thing is they don’t answer the phone or reply to emails. However I am sure I will get a response to this review.
PLEASE COME AND DELIVER THE SERVICE YOU HAVE BEEN PAID TO DO!

La déménagement c'est bien passé le…
La déménagement c'est bien passé le chauffeur est arrivé un peu plus tard que prévu mais car l'adresse était difficile à trouver même pour les livreurs donc compréhensible. Le chauffeur est arrivé à destination en avance très bon contact avec le chauffeur mais il parlait polonais donc pas facile mais nous y sommes arrivé ! Le tarif était très compétitif environ deux fois moins chers que la CO currence.

A bit stressful but all fine in the end
Positives:
- Van had blankets, straps and other equipment to keep everything in place.
- Driver was helpful and was careful with our stuff.
- Driver arrived on time for loading (even 15 minutes early).
- Move coordinator checked on us at the beginning of the loading to ensure everything was fine.
- Move coordinator assisted with resolving issue with paperwork expected by the driver.
- Even though the driver was Polish and hardly speaking English, his friend (that we hired through European Moving as an extra hand) was a UK resident and could translate so we managed to communicate.
- Driver arrived on time for unloading (30 minutes early) and our belongings were all ok.
Negatives:
- We only got an ETA for van arrival on D-1
- The helper was not very careful and was banging things against the wall, he was also not in great physical condition. It was clearly not his primary job!

I had a shipment from Ireland to France…
I had a shipment from Ireland to France which arrived on time and all in good order. The driver was extremely helpful and carried my items up two flights of stairs, it must have taken over five trips up and all with a very helpful attitude. I booked a part load and later when I realised that I had more items to ship, they increased the capacity to a full load at a very reasonable price. Recommended indeed!

Great communication with the admin…
Great communication with the admin team, however the outsourced removal company were difficult to speak to with the language barrier.
Fundamental Covid procedures were not in place for the driver and our delivery was therefore delayed by 4 days.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry about the delays you experienced, as we fully understand how frustrating those can be when you are waiting for your goods, and we apologise unreservedly.
We would just like to mention that the delays were absolutely not Covid related, as we have very strict contractual demands in terms of all Covid related interactions. As you know, your goods were moving from Great Britain to Ireland, and the issues from unclear guidance given to customs relating to the NI Protocol, and the differences of interpretation by different customs bureaux (as you know we tried first Holyhead, then Liverpool) meant that our driver was repeatedly turned away from boarding the ferries and that we kept chasing paperwork that had not been required in previous crossings. We shall undoubtedly learn from that and will be having every possible paperwork in future Ireland transports.

Great reactivity by email, great follow up that kept me posted of when the driver would arrive both at pick up and at destination (despite a delay at pick up because of some truck related issues).
Incredibly low price and great service, they made possible an international moving despite a Brexit and a pandemic.

NEVER HIRE THEIR SERVICES, THEY'RE SCAMMERS
We hired European Moving to do a removal form Glasgow (UK) to Sabadell (Spain). Our removal was planned for the 22nd of January 2021 and we agreed with them on the date and paid them for the whole service in advance of the removal. On the same day that they were supposed to come, and seeing that they were not showing up, we called them on the phone and theY notified us that they wouldn't be able to do the removal. They gave us two options: cancel the removal serviCe and give us the money back or waiting for them to come on an undetermined date. We asked them to cancel the removal and return us the money and more than 3 months later, we're still fighting and trying to contact them to receive our refund. This has not only created us a very serious problem in the moment of the move, as we were leaving our apartment, we had to hire another much more expensive company in the last minute, etc., but also we're still suffering from stress and anxiety because we don't know when we will have our money back. We are in the process of contacting a lawyer to sue them but, in the meanwhile, PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THE SERVICES OF THESE SCAMMERS.

I found out today that the comapny has changed their name to "DPB Storage". This is a frequent trend that they have been following during the last years. You can see the full history of this company online, on the UK government website.
It does not seem they will ever reply to our claim and I just hope that they are prosecuted and that the CEO, Daniel Blanche, finally goes to jail.

1. You were European Moving. Now you have a different name "DPB Storage", which clearly shows your lack of willigness to compensate your clients for your scam. This is a regular practice that you have been having during the last years and our lawyers have informed us perfectly on how it works: change name -> avoid paying for what you own -> scam again -> change name again etc. As I said, our lawyers are taking care of all this (together with many other affected customers).
2. You weren't uniquely affected by covid: my wife and I lost our jobs, losing almost 3000£ with your scam meant a lot for us and we had to ask for money to our friends and family to hire a new service removal, without considering all the stress and pain we suffered from your actions. We are still struggling financially and emotionally because of you and it will take us long before we can recover from this.
3. I waited for more than a week to see any little action from you, or a simple contact, but in views that this has not happened, we will continue with our legal process.
