After 7 years living in London,our daughter decided to move back home to Nagold in south of Germany.
We contacted EuropeanMoving in Internet and they called us to know how many furniture was to move. We got from Ivaylo a very convenient quote.
The pick up from Richmond was quite on time early in the morning of March 3 . 2021.
Because of Corona my daughter had no one to help and the driver was very helpful making the loading alone.
Next day at 11am The Van was at our home.
The driver helped us to unload the van and was very careful handling the furniture.
We recomend EuropeanMoving at all times.

Price performance ratio was very good. They completed our job very quickly, taking our belongings from London to the UK overnight. The driver helped us to the load and unload the van. All items arrived safely at our new home.

Easy booking .. offered a date and quote .. completed all paperwork and chatted back n forth with Ivaylo and Fatima ... both a great help ... Collection was a Saturday ... van and Marek arrived and we loaded with his help .. Marek was great ... Delivery due Sunday and Marek arrived in the Netherlands from the UK on time. .... It’s been a great service ... only thing I would say is because Delivery day was on a Sunday I was unable to contact EM but everything arrived safe and sound ... Thanks to the whole team ... I would definitely use again and recommend ... Happy customer

The move went really well from the UK to Spain -picked up on Sat am and arrived on Monday am. The customer service throughout was really good and the driver helped us load and unload. Overall we are very happy with the Service. The only 'but' is the driver didnt speak english so for any last minute 'issues' it got a bit tricky.

This company are very cheap to book compared with competitors. But....be warned, that comes at a price!!!
The company itself has no accountability. The contracts, emails and phone calls mean nothing.
We paid for two vans three weeks in advance to collect our household belongings from S.W.France and deliver to the UK. However, on the day of collection we were informed the vans would be arriving TWO days later!!! Our emails, messages, phone calls etc were largely unanswered for the whole day. Stress levels were through the roof! We had to cancel hotel bookings and ferry crossings and inform solicitors that we could not vacate the house (house sale) for two extra days. It was very clear that any additional costs to us would not be covered by European Moving.
Two days later and the vans arrived over two hours late!! The whole experience was hugely stressful. Do not use this company. If you do, do not relax until the vans actually arrive. Do not believe the promises or the emails or the contract. It all means nothing until the vans appear.
In hindsight, we should have paid an extra £1000 and employed a professional company to help with our house move.
My advice..... Stay away from this company!!

Edit***In response to their reply below, I would like to add that the company are continuing to lie and mislead any new potential, prospective customers. They did not inform us in advance of the two day delay. We had emptied the contents of our house out onto the driveway to help speed things up, only to be informed at 5pm that day, after a whole day of being ignored via email & phone that our drivers would not be with us for another two days. They were unable to provide a reason as to why there was a delay other than there were no drivers available in our area (despite our booking being made and paid for weeks in advance). Their response also alludes to the fact that this was all agreed to by us. Well, what option did we have? They already had our money and we were not in a position to pay out thousands of pounds to an alternative removal company. It certainly wasn't an amicable, mutual agreement, more a gun against my head type scenario. It's a shame that the customer service team online can't be redeployed to work in their offices and answer the multiple phone messages and emails this company undoubtedly receive from aggrieved customers. Perhaps if they had been as quick to respond on our removal date with as thorough an explanation (although lies) we might have been a little more understanding. Our original review and advice still stands. Avoid!

Avoid at all cost: We are still waiting for a refund since August 2020.

They are a bunch of scammers who does not even bother to answers emails. I believe the booking coordinators change their emails addresses every few months to ignore the complains. The payments team simply does not exist.

I would be insterested to hear from anybody in the same situation to start a Class action lawsuit against them. It might be the only way to recover our money...

European Movers helped us with our move to Bulgaria from the uk at the end of February
2021. Only two months after Brexit and in the middle of Covid lock down , the move was stressful to say the least. We had to get fit to fly certificates and arrange our flights around the move date.
We had arranged a van for the move, though 2 weeks prior to the date we realised we didn’t have
enough room with one vehicle, European Movers responded quickly and arranged a second van.
We had to do a full itinerary of our goods including weights, it was to protect us and the drivers ,
European Movers took care of the customs arrangements for us. On the day the vans arrived, though a little late which added a bit more stress but we were off, the vans were quickly loaded and set off. We took our flights the next day and arrived in Bulgaria , our goods turned up a few days later as expected , everything was unloaded with precision and all our goods were there and unbroken. I would recommend European Movers, though it is was extremely stressful, work with them and you should be fine.

!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!! Under no circumstances book this company. I can not begin to describe how horrific our relocation was. European Moving and particularly their logistical coordinator have an absolute disrespect for their customers once they have your money. There are many bad reviews.
Details: Our moving truck arrived 6!!! hours late at pickup and 2 hours early at delivery. NEVER were we informed on status even after asking specifically by mail and phone. Although the pickup time was confirmed per email, later the company's position was their contract does not provide a guaranteed pick up time. Nothing was done to cover the additional expenses we incurred having our load in crew waiting for 6 hours.
Forget about getting timely updates or agreements being kept to. If you want stress in your life this is the way to go. On top of this they use extremely underpaid drivers from Easter Europe. I felt truly sorry for our driver and made sure to give him food, drink and a generous tip. It is clearly not his fault how stupidly his schedule is planned to maximize profit. #exploitation With the exception of 2 customer managers that tried to help, and failed, it was a horrific experience at every turn. I can not stress enough, how strongly I recommend finding ANY other alternative to hopefully help you avoid having such an experience yourself.

I response to European Moving message. I escalated to a higher management person 3 times and was told they would contact me to at least speak. This never happened. Your reply and the actions of your Sr. Management are not aligned and demonstrates your company does not operate from a client centric perspective. You just write what you believe needs to be written to keep face. You can be absolutely assured I will NEVER use your services again, not even if they were free of charge. That's how strongly I feel about the treatment we received from you.

And UPS, DHL and FedEx are able to coordinate delivery to withing 30 Minutes in real time! There are these things called GPS, Mobile Phones and Logistics CRM now. Maybe you should look into them...

I have used the services of European Moving three times, both for inter and intranational moves. My overall experience with them is very good, especially in regards to their low prices. The (UK) commercial staff is friendly and the drivers (subcontracted east European companies) are very professional. It remains a low cost solution, but I recommend it, if this is what you are looking for.

I booked my move from the UK to Spain with European Moving and everything ran smoothly. They were cheaper than other companies and we were happy with the result, as the items arrived to their destination in 48 hours as promised and in the exact same condition we packed them.

The agent Madjid helped me throughout my move and offered me exceptional customer service. On the day of my move from Italy to Paris, Madjid immediately resolved all my issues as I was not happy with the driver. They are responsible and carefully moved my stuff. Thanks to European Moving.

Very nice driver. We booked a morningslot and we were advised by Boris a week in advance that the driver would probably arrive between 8am and 10am. In the morning of our move Boris advised me that, due to a accident, the driver would arrive at noon. Unfortunately, the driver only showed up at 2pm. So, please calculate some extra time!
The driver made his quickly to The Netherlands and all of the goods were unloaded very swift.

Moving to Portugal

My moving to Portugal went smoothly and stress-free thanks to the professional and friendly manager Ivaylo.
He was there through the whole move and answered my countless questions. Would recommend.

Good job - in time - no problem

Highly competitive in price. Best thing is you can customize the service as per your requirement. The move went well, our driver arrived at pick up and reached the destination on time and all our items were in order. We booked their basic service as we didn't have enough stuff and I think the company offer more comprehensive services based on the requirement. A great experience!

Overall a very good experience. No frills but still professional.

I was moving from the UK to Norway. European Moving was significantly cheaper than the other alternatives I could find, and obviously you start wondering why, but it looked legit and decided to try it out.

My experience:
* Did I get the information I needed before the move, e.g. regarding customs documents? Yes
* Could I get hold of them on the phone when I had a last minute question before the move? Yes, and they were friendly and helpful (had to call a couple of times to get through)
* Did the van show up on time? Yes, a few hours late, but that was (seemingly) third party related - from what I understand they are a booking agency, so those things can happen
* Was the van as promised? Yes, it was the correct size - not a fancy van, but I don't care
* Was the driver friendly and professional? Yes. His English was not the best, but we were able to communicate
* Did the van reach the destination on time? Yes, and he called an hour before to let me know he was getting close
* Were all my items in the same good condition when they reached the destination? Yes
* Any additional / surprising costs on top of the quoted price? No

This is not a high-end moving service, but if you're looking for a no-frills moving service that is still professional then I can definitely recommend European Moving.

We had a hiccup with the first date, which fell through at the last minute.

On rebooking, the service was fantastic, and the drivers were polite, efficient, and the whole move was a breeze because of this. You could tell they had packed the goods really carefully, and they helped unload which made everything much easier.

Despite the initial problem, we would definitely use them again.

There was a hiccup in finding the driver so I had to move everything to another place and leave for London myself. I was lucky I had my fianceé's parents who had space in their garage and who helped us, without them it would be a disaster. It took us the whole day transporting everything to another town in Germany, so a waste of my time and waste of energy. Once I arrived in London I asked for a refund and was told it would take 30-90 days. At last, they found a driver and everything was delivered in one piece. Super stressful in the beginning but fine in the end. Hence why 3 stars. Would I use them again? Probably not.
