B&Q giftcard useless on website, slow refund process
I bought a giftcard for B&Q as I needed to buy a few items for the house and DIY work. I found out that I was not able to use the B&Q giftcard because the items were sold by "verified users" on the website, which is actually majority of the items on the website!! I think they might as well tell people that the giftcard can't be used on the website. I felt scammed that I got a giftcard but could not use it. Everup customer service is through chat and they are slow in response, and have to wait for days for them to liaise with B&Q, and have a 2% charge for refund. Comparing to my experience with JamDoughnut, who respond immediately and I get an immediate full refund within minutes while chatting to JamDoughnut.
I have a good mind to tell my bank to do a chargeback or refund for me, as I am not happy with the service or that I am charged to get a refund.
Edit: Everup sorted out my refund next day and I received a full refund. So I have changed 1 star to 3 stars.

Gift card usage and restrictions are determined by the brand, and we provide these details on the brand page in the app to help customers make informed choices.
As explained, gift card refunds are always subject to the retailer's policies. Once a request is raised, we submit it to the brand for review. The outcome can vary — some refunds may be processed quickly, while others may require additional checks, and in some cases a refund may not be possible.

Have started using this as my main cashback app now, find they have better offers compared to some others and love the free spins with built up coins feature to earn some extra pennies. They all add up. Also quick withdrawals.

Unbeatable Customer Service Support.
I needed to reach out for help with a gift card and was put off by having to speak online to them. Well I was wrong, Everup were fast in communicating back to me as well as extremely understanding my situation and with resolving my problem. It’s a fantastic, well trusted service. 😡 IMPOSSIBLE TO LOGIN WHEN AWAY FROM HOME 😡
It had become impossible to login to the app when I’m away from home. At home it logs me straight in with face recognition. When I’m out using my own data or using a retailers wi/fi it will not let me login. That is because there is an additional logging in procedure a verification code. It takes 4 minutes to receive a verification code by email by which time it is invalid which means it is impossible to login which means I loosing money. Verification codes are normally only valid for 1 minute. This never use to happen until the last 2 weeks.
Other websites and apps are able to send verification codes within 30 seconds which means it is still valid, so why can’t you? 😡

Brilliant app for cashback on weekly shops
I use everup for my regular shopping and it's brilliant. I get cashback for money I would have to spend anyway. It's easy to buy the gift cards and easy to use the cashback. And cashback is given very quickly! Wins all around.

Not a good experience to begin with, but it was sorted out very quickly.
I opened an account with Everup last week, I thought that I was onto a good thing, so I bought a £400 Sainsbury's gift card to get £20 back in cashback. From the start I could not use the cashback, then today I have suddenly found that my account has been disabled and my cashback has disappeared.
Before that I had an email to ask me to use my device to make a payment to verify my account, because they had detected that I had tried to use Everup on a different device, then my account was disabled. I could not use it Everup on a different device anyway.
A week later and everything was sorted out, so I'm happy.
