Enorme arnaque, frais cachés. Vous payez quelques dollars an façade puis plus de 110 dollars sont prélevés. Les frais cachés étant masqués dans une fenêtre que très peu de gens peuvent voir. Site qui devrait êre interdit.
Et quand vous demandez le remboursement, ils vous disent que c'est non remboursable.

Attention il vous facture 113.94 pour un AVÉ de façon déguiser le vrai prix est de 4 , 95$ can il vous facture de façon dissimulé des ffais

It says 7.-, but if you click on the drop-down menu, you'll see that it costs 130.- in total. I didn't notice this until after I paid. Don't use this site.

This company is a pure scam - totally misleading website which is designed to make you think that you are purchasing an official Canadian e visa at $7 surely the Canadian authorities should step in and not allow this company to make submissions .

Inadmissible. Comment peut on laisser une telle arnaque en ligne ? 113 euros d escroqués. Lorsque vous vous inscrivez il est question de 7 dollars ( canadiens ) donc 4,37 euros. Quand vous validez ce que vous supposez 7 dollars canadiens plus frais ( qui se révèlent de 123 dollars ) vous recevez une facture de 130 US dollars. Si votre banque comme la mienne le CIC ne fait pas l authentification sur son application vous vous retrouvez débité de cette somme.
J ai constaté ce fait 2 minutes après que le paiement ai été validé mais la banque n a rien fait malgré mon alerte.
Dépité j ai fait une demande par moi-même sur le site officiel du Canada et j ai obtenu l AVÉ en 4 minutes pour 4,37 euros - 7 dollars canadiens - Comment ou pourquoi les autorités canadiennes n’interviennent pas pour faire cesser cette escroquerie ?

This is a scam. They pretend to be the official site and show the amount cost of $7 but in reality they charge you $130.

I searched on Google for a Canada eTA and clicked on a (sponsored) search result first one on the list, believing I was on the official Government of Canada website. The overall appearance and wording of the website gave me the impression that I was completing the official government application.

During checkout, the website prominently refers to the CAD 7 government fee and mentions an additional service fee, but the actual amount charged is not clearly visible on the checkout page itself. You have to click on a separate link to see the full service fee. I did not realize I was authorizing a USD 130 payment until after the transaction had been completed.

As soon as I got an email stating the charges,I immediately emailed eVisaCan requesting that my application be cancelled before any further processing. It has now been over a week, and I have not received a single response to any of my emails—not even an acknowledgement.

At the very least, I expected a response explaining whether my application had already been submitted to IRCC and why my cancellation request could not be accommodated. While they do mention in FAQs that refund can be initiated before the application is sent to IRCC for processing, they do not seem to follow that.

Based on my experience, I found the website presentation and pricing to be misleading, and the lack of customer support has been extremely disappointing.

Please be very careful before using this service. Make sure you understand exactly who you are dealing with and the total amount you will be charged before making any payment.

If eVisaCan responds and resolves this matter fairly, I will update this review accordingly.

Scammed. Their website looks like the Canadian Government one, same questions and layout. They also request payment for $7, but actually, in the end the charge was beyond £100!!! My payment is still pending and I'm waiting for a reply from them before the bank raises a dispute.

Fraude - 113 € perdues

Une arnaque d'ampleur sur ce site. Tromperie sur le design du site qui copie le site officiel, pas de transparence sur les frais, au moment du paiement la sommes de 7$ apparait mais pas les + de 100 $ de frais sont indiqués !! c'est après que vous dévcouvre la surpercherie. De plus, pas reçu mon visa au bout de 96 h !!!

Je pensais être sur le site officiel du gouvernement canadien pour effectuer une demande d'AVE. La présentation du site est, selon moi, très trompeuse et m'a induite en erreur.
Lorsque j'ai vu un montant de 113,80 €, j'ai compris qu'il ne s'agissait pas du tarif officiel et je n'ai pas souhaité poursuivre ce paiement. Pourtant, deux prélèvements de 113,80 €, soit 227,60 € au total, ont été effectués sur mon compte bancaire.
J'ai immédiatement demandé l'annulation de ma demande et un remboursement. Malgré plusieurs e-mails, je n'ai reçu aucune réponse satisfaisante. Le numéro de téléphone indiqué ne m'a pas permis de joindre un conseiller.
J'ai été contrainte de faire opposition à ma carte bancaire et d'engager une procédure de contestation auprès de ma banque.
Je déconseille fortement ce site. Si vous souhaitez demander une AVE pour le Canada, vérifiez bien que vous utilisez le site officiel du gouvernement du Canada, où le coût officiel est de 7 dollars canadiens.
À ce jour, je suis toujours dans l'attente d'un remboursement.

I believed I was using the official Government of Canada website to apply for an eTA. In my opinion, the website's presentation is misleading and caused me to believe it was the official service.
When I saw a charge of €113.80, I realized it was not the official government fee and I did not wish to proceed with that payment. However, two charges of €113.80 each, for a total of €227.60, were taken from my bank account.
I immediately requested the cancellation of my application and a full refund. Despite sending several emails, I have not received a satisfactory response. I was also unable to reach anyone using the phone number provided.
I had to block my bank card and start a chargeback procedure with my bank.
I strongly do not recommend this website. If you need a Canadian eTA, make sure you use the official Government of Canada website, where the official fee is 7 Canadian dollars (CAD).
As of today, I am still waiting for a full refund.

I submitted 2 application via e-visacan assuming it is government website. When completed payment it never showed total billing amount. When I checked my card transactions instantly i got charged 2x 187.67. I found out later It showed CAD 7 and service below which is hidden. I tried to contact them instantly but they don’t accept incoming calls. I raised dispute with my bank already. I received no confirmation email re application or payment. I emailed them 3 times already to cancel my application. I tried to submit billing issue query on their website and it is also coming up as error. There is no communication support from them even though it say 24/7 support available. By searching their company details I contacted Wyoming authorities who got the same address. I requested them if I can speak to any of their personnel or if they can forward my message to cancel my application but they cannot help me as well. If I don’t receive any update I will file a complaint with Australian fair trading, US FTC and Canada AFC.

Estafa, imita web de gobierno Canadá, te cobran 110 euros por “tramitarte” la eTa que tiene un coste real de unos 6 euros.
Solicitas anulen tu solicitud y te devuelvan el importe pagado y no responden, lo hacen 1 semana después explicando que como el servicio ya se realizó no te devuelven nada. Bloqueada la tarjeta y denunciados vuelven a intentar hacer cargos…

Update 21/07/2026: After reporting the website to Google they have taken action and now supply a warning against e-visacan.com and other similar scam websites, stating "Not a Government website" under each link.
Unsurprisingly, still no response from this scam company to my requesting immediate cancellation of the transaction, which is now being dealt with as a dispute with the Credit Card company.

Complete scam website purporting to be the Canadian Government website for the purchase of travel ETA, hugely inflated price of circa $130 for a $10 ETA.
Essentially e-visacan is an American company based in Wyoming who have paid advertising to ensure they appear at the top of Google searches! Beware!!!
I have reported the website to Google and the Federal Trade Commission as well as my Credit Company to process a chargeback.

Absolute scam. Genuinely thought it was official site and ticked the box to pay $7CAD and card was charged $130USD. Have logged it with Amex to dispute charge. 1st time I've ever been tricked by this sort of thing. Avoid at all costs.
