UPDATE: It gets worse. After twice sending emails claiming to have attached documents — which arrived with NO attachment — their employee Kirsten has now sent me a screenshot of HER sent folder and accused ME of making 'false assumptions'. She suggested I change my device or email app — implying the fault is MINE. I receive attachments perfectly from everyone else. Only Evolution fail to send them. Then they BLAME the customer for their own incompetence. This is gaslighting — pure and simple. They cannot perform the most basic administrative task, then get aggressive and accusatory when you point it out. Avoid this company at all costs.

UPDATE I received an acknowledgement email that said it had an attachment — but there was nothing there. Their reply here says simply 'sorry you're unhappy' — taking NO accountability at all.
They submitted false figures, withheld my documents, and misrepresented me. Now their stalling tactics knowingly put at risk the vehicle I rely on for my medical needs. They say nothing, explain nothing, deny nothing.
Meanwhile Moneybarn have taken this seriously and referenced my rights under the Equality Act. It speaks volumes that the lender is acting more responsibly than the broker. I will escalate this until they answer my actual concerns.

SINCE WRITING THE SITUATION HAS GOTTEN FAR WORSE:
Since writing this, the same advisor, James, invited me to send further documents — including my full outgoings sheet to prove affordability, and a request for fair treatment. He has now ADMITTED IN WRITING that NONE of this information was ever passed to the lender.
He then demanded additional documentation containing highly sensitive personal details which I declined to share, as the information already provided was sufficient. He then replied to tell me this additional information would not affect the decision anyway — which means it was NEVER needed in the first place.

James also repeatedly told me that changes to my declared income would not alter the finance quote. However, the dealership originally offered me finance at 15.9% APR — a rate I agreed to proceed on. Evolution never informed me this rate had changed. When the formal offer arrived, it was 21.9% APR — significantly higher. James now claims this higher rate was "always the case" — yet he failed to tell me this at any point, leaving me to proceed in the belief I was still getting the rate agreed with the dealer.
James also tried to convince me to accept the finance offer, pay what I could afford towards the deposit, and simply ask the dealership to let me off the rest — despite me clearly telling him the dealership operates on a strict no-haggle policy. This advice was seriously misleading and legally risky: the deposit is owed to the lender under contract, not the dealership. Had I followed his advice, I could have been in breach of contract, I would not have received my car, and I could have ended up with a bad credit rating — all because of his dangerous guidance.
James showed me screenshots from the lender's own system clearly stating I am in TIER 1 — their BEST possible credit tier. Despite this, I was offered 21.6% APR, far above their lowest advertised rate. He also repeatedly ran quotes using completely incorrect deposit figures — declaring a deposit of £5,570 when my actual deposit is only £1,900. He tried to blame both the rate and the deposit requirements on the lender and my credit — yet his own screenshots proved my credit rating was excellent. This means the entire offer was calculated on false figures he submitted, not my actual circumstances
James also failed to disclose that certain statutory costs I am assumed to pay are in fact reduced or nil due to my disability. He also duplicated car running costs that were already fully accounted for in the outgoing figures I provided.
Furthermore, James claimed the lender does not take outgoings into account — yet the lender's own published website states clearly that income, expenses, and affordability are the primary factors in every decision. He misled me about what was required, then failed to send what I did provide.

Their standard reply claims they look at affordability — but they NEVER sent my affordability figures. They claim they treat everyone consistently — but they demanded extra private information from me alone. They say "contact us directly" — yet when I did, they hid information from the lender and failed to explain why the rate had changed from what was agreed.

I am now escalating this matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Financial Conduct Authority.

Had an issue with a van from vansco , between evolution , Vansco and auto-lend I’ve received the most appalling service.
Evolution won’t entertain anything they just say contact the finance company , I’ve been left with no van yet I’m still paying for it every month they will fill you with crap , and breach your consumer rights 2015 at every turn . Read all reviews regarding all 3 companies , they are brilliant until something goes wrong, you wait weeks for information, they will try and trap you into breaching your contract so they can blame you , don’t fall for it!!
