Mine and my husband experience with Evolve has been fantastic from beginning to the end. We have met some lovely people in person and on zoom. The spent time with our daughter getting to know her and understand her better getting the best outcome for her. We would definitely recommend

Company was great from start to finish, professional and compassionate, worked to timelines and delivered all expectations.

A very thorough, comprehensive service, with kind and caring practitioners. We had to chase up the follow up appointment, but when it was explained thie was because of a need to conduct further assessments we were reassured that no corners were being cut and that the outcome would be carefully considered. The only things that could be improved were the quality of the forms sent out for completion (looked like photocopies and could not be completed online) and being kept up to date without having to chase things up.
However we were extremely relieved to find a face to face service where some of the process was done in person.

Lovely staff, polite, understanding.

We used evolve psychology service for our son. We found the support incredible, we were kept well informed about the process and timescales. We felt that the whole process was extremely thorough and our son was well understood. I would highly recommend evolve.

Made it possible for both boys to be assessed on the same day, due to traveling a distance. Communication has been great, outcome report is very detailed.

The assessments were done in a professional manner. The results were given to us fairly quickly. All that was good. But, once given a diagnosis we were left without support.
Our Gp couldn’t help either so have had to pay privately.

All the staff at evolve are so lovely. I chose evolve as I felt my sons gp failed him and they didn’t want to help. When my son had his appointment the clinician really listened to what we had to say and didn’t judge us. They were fantastic with my son and we got him a diagnosis of asd and adhd. We were shocked with the autism diagnosis as we really weren’t expecting it but the clinician really helped us as a family. Very supportive if I needed any further assistance. Would definitely recommend Evolve rather than waiting years for a cahms referral. The clinicians really listen and don’t fob you off. Thank you again

No signposting post diagnosis (a child who they suggest needs ‘treating’ for ADHD before they can reconsider ASD - contentious to force our hands as parents to medicate in order for our son to be supported effectively and access appropriate provision(s) re the need for an ASD diagnosis. Also contentious to not signpost parents effectively re how to access medication pathway(s). Struggle to make sense of this post diagnosis abandonment.
The report was also outdated - quotes from infant school which were no longer relevant were included but little from current junior school who support the need for an ASD diagnosis. No longitudinal parental data made it into the report. The report felt akin to cherry picked data which supported their decision to not diagnose ASD and thus any supportive evidence appeared largely elusive.
Employees of Evolve aren’t bad people, but as a family we were very disappointed with our experiences under Evolve Psychology.

Evolve we’re amazing with my son. They were patient and understanding. They worked as quickly and smoothly as they could. We received my son’s diagnosis within 2-3 years, which is pretty quick considering the backlogs of most waiting lists.

Good, thorough service, helpful and personable once you are offered an appointment (12 month wait). They are very helpful, and they discuss your child's assessment and report with you in detail. We were happy to use their NHS service.

Outstanding service. The staff were all very professional kind and understanding.

I was kept updated through the whole process, each step was explained to me. Staff were very friendly and helpful and made sure everything was understood. Nothing was too much trouble.

We used Evolve for our son's ASD assessment and when they came back to us with his diagnosis, they said they also wanted to assess for ADHD which we also agreed with.
Both assessments were comprehensive and supportive and the report that was done afterwards was detailed, thorough, and showed all the work they had done to get the diagnoses right.
