Horrible customer service at move out. My notification of move out was submitted and confirmed as received well before next billing cycle. Lock was removed and door left open upon move out. Storage facility was kind enough to still bill me for the following month. Management didn’t verify moveout from storage unit till after beginning of next billing cycle and charged me because a lock unknown to me was discovered on the unit I left empty with door fully opened. While trying to resolve the issue they continued their generosity by further charging me a late fee while the issue was still being resolved. As a parting gift for vacating use of their facility after months of onetime payments and appropriate moveout notification they saw fit to charge me for an empty unit with a late fee to seal the deal. I highly discourage being a customer of this facility. Should you choose to subject yourself to the use of this facility, I recommend that you coordinate with the management for an in person moveout verification.

I needed a place to store our trailer. Excess storage is very convenient, safe with reasonable rates. The facilty is very clean and well maintained. They also have 24 hr access. The staff is very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a extra storage.

I really did my research when I needed a clean and secure place for my wife and I to temporarily store things as we work toward completing our house in Moncure. Katie was very helpful and a pleasure to work with and we are very satisfied with our choice in storage companies

I have a small storage space that started off at 58 Dollars. I have watched it move up to the 60 dollars and now, I had to pay a bill that was 75 dollars. I guess I'm paying for convenience or living near Knightdale. When asked ref: the bill seems high, she gave me a discount. But, could not explain why the bill went from 58 dollars to 70 dollars.

Knightdale storage unit.

Easy to get set up and friendly customer service. Asked me all the right questions to make sure i had the perfect unit.

I only needed a storage unit for about 2 weeks to store items donated for a yard sale benefiting the Goathouse Refuge. I was happy to find out I got a deal on my unit since I didn't even need it a whole month and it was for charity!!

Everyone is so nice and friendly, very helpful, your greeted with kindness and a smile when you go in to pay your storage fee. I really like that and thanks for all that you do.

About a year ago we moved from Tennesse to Selma, NC.I was moving back to the place where I was born and raised. Needed to be back in the area for an aging parent. We have a house full of furniture. I looked at a couple of places but didn't feel right, until I found Excess Storage in Knightdale, NC. I was looking for cleanliness, the right temperature control since NC can be quite humid, video surveillance and security. I found it all with Excess Storage at a great price per month I have two units Thanks Adam for helping to make this moving exprience a good one. Everyone in the office is great also.

I've had a great experience using Excess Storage in Knightdale, North Carolina. My items have been stored with them for 2 years. Excess Storage is in a great location, a safe environment and most importantly, available to me 24/7 (unlike some other places). If you need to store anything - personal or professional - you should contact Excess Storage!

Gets the job done, but have run into a few bumps along the way. If you want to pay via credit card, they charge a fee. Additionally, their online checkout is a little sketchy, and in bad need of an upgrade. The rent does keep going up. I can't help but feel it is because they have added some other new units, and perhaps they are extending that cost to their patrons. Regardless, it is still an acceptable storage unit, and beats most other places in location and accessibility to the units.
