Overall, the hosting experience has been very good and not too many issues. Did have some third-party issues not directly tied to Expanse but their team was so helpful in terms of resolving it.

Overall can highly recommend them if your looking to find a good well priced host provider! Sam & his team are always working to help improve the client experience and they respond fairly quickly!

Quick customer service, problems are quickly actioned upon. Staff and owner is nice. Service is worth the price. This is our second time availing a server and will come again in the future.

I recently switched to this host because I’d heard good things, but honestly, it’s been a frustrating experience.

The first problem was importing my files. Support didn’t help at all. I had to split my files into multiple zip folders just to get the Pterodactyl interface to unzip them. They do have an importer, but it only works if you already have a server running to pull files from, which I didn’t.

Then there was an issue with my proxy, which had worked perfectly fine on my previous host. Instead of actually looking into it, support blamed three different things, none of which made technical sense or matched what was happening.. Of course, all the issues they mentioned were conveniently “out of their control”. In the end, they just told me to contact a Minecraft developer to optimize my proxy, even though it was only using 20% of its CPU and RAM.
Here is an excerpt of the various things their "technically proficient" and "professional" support tried to blame their issue on:
"thats your nlogin"
"you need a minecraft developer for optimisations"
"yea, minecraft issue, not a system issue, your files keep corrupting"
"file corruption = optimisation issues" <- this in particular shows a lack of technical knowledge...

I'm still giving 2 stars because I think that if you have no idea what you are doing, this is probably a good host. But if you know how to setup pterodactyl on a linux server, you'd honestly be better off doing that, at least then you'd avoid the issues that come from the cheap extensions (like the server splitter) which they have no control over since they just bought them off builtbybit.

This server host has been amazing, the CEO and the support team have done an amazing job to support the clients and as someone who buys server, can say this is one of the best!

Expanse is the best host that I've came across. I've been using expanse host for my minecraft networks for quite a while now and my favourute thing about it is that it never has downtimes unless its something to make the panel better. Unlike other hosts, expanse is very much different, they give you the best pricing for everything and not overcharge you and this is because the owner isn't thirsty for money like the other hosts. If you're looking for a high quality host with affordable prices, Expanse is the perfect host for you as the support is great and they listen to their customers feedback
