Am office assistant

Waste of time! Perfectly normal adverts and posts removed without rhyme or reason. It seems that moderators can't understand English so they just remove things. There is no customer service. Don't bother wasting your time. Use other forums. Much better!

No voy a hablar mal , pero que algunas personas queremos ayudar a otras personas y por privacidad no queremos dar teléfonos o nombre de empresas en foros públicos.
Y más en ciertos países corruptos del este ,donde hay muchos hacker intentando controlar la información .
La información veraz de los expatriados tiene que estar sin manipular ni ser vigilada por los administradores de los foros.
(Seguramente tendrán cosas mejores que hacer.

Must have quand vous voulez vous expatriez, ce qui fut mon cas en Espagne et ce site et surtout l’expérience des membres m’a vraiment beaucoup aidé.

C'est une plateforme nul...des gamins non professionnel leurs rôles est supprimée tout ce qui est sérieux.

Nullissime, modérateurs frileux, flicage à deux balles, et des mythos à foison sur ce site ayant plusieurs comptes, sans qu'il soit en réalité possible de vérifier...

A friend and I attempted to post simple bike sale ads identical to currently running ads and we both had them rejected several times. As he is a physician and I am an international journalist, we were quite shocked by rather abrupt rude rejections of the ads. This was a first for both of us.

Again, since he is a well known physician and I am a journalist with similar education and we both wrote ads according to Expat guidelines and almost identical to currently running ads on Expat.

I discussed this with my friend who is a former Supreme Court Justice and she suggested I review the organization since these ads were most likely rejected by someone lacking education and experience in both working with the public and advertising. During the past 30 years, of dinners in the homes of Supreme Court Justices worldwide--who have no interest in discrimination of any kind--I have never seen this lack of judgment.

Ce site web a une curieuse complaisance avec ce qui va dans son sens et vis à vis de certains membres très impolis, avides de critiques, qui, s'ils ne sont pas d'accord avec vous, ne se privent pas de dénoncer votre participation au site, qui à son tour s'acharnera dans la suppression de votre participation. Sectaire et communautariste seraient des définitions de ce site par politesse (je n'arrive même pas à comprendre comment vous arrivez à supporter autant de participations racistes). En bref, si vous cherchez des infos de michel ou jacques au Maroc, allez-y. Si vous avez l'esprit un peu plus open, passez votre chemin !

Soy miembro de Expat.com desde hace ya muchos años y creo que es un muy excelente portal y el servicio que presta no tiene precio!

Es una Página en dond encontrarás a personas de muchos países con muchas ganas de ayudar a sacar tus inquietudes.
Podés encontrar lo que tanto te inquieta o simplemente crear un hilo, y pronto muchos responderán.

D'aucune utilité,mes messages bloqués en réponse sur le Maroc, suite à un commentaire dénigrant le Maroc par une résidente Française, qui se comporte comme un colon blanc .

Je suis mentore pour les italiens qui ont un projet d'expatriation en France.
Le site fournit des conseils, des astuces ou des outils pour anticiper les démarches de l'expatriation comme: trouver un travail, s'inscrire au pôle emploi, trouver une location ou des activités.
L'avantage du site est que fournit des informations de la part de personnes déjà expatriées (comme moi) qui ont déjà dû passer par les mêmes démarches (souvent fatiquantes).

Expat.com l'ho definito sin da subito il porto sicuro delle informazioni per gli utenti in aria di espatrio piuttosto che di già expats. io stesso l'ho utilizzato per approfondire argomenti o venire a conoscenza di nuovi.
Vorrei spendere una parola di elogio per il lavoro che lo staff di Expat.cz fa per promuovere, coordinare e condividere notizie e scambi di informazioni tra utenti o dummy dell'espatrio. Posso dire che i curiosi di vari argomenti possono trovare sia informazioni che supporto. meglio di così dico grazie Expat.com.

Il sito nasce con ottime intenzioni e i temi trattati sono numerosi ed articolati. Infatti riguardano sia gli aspetti pratici per vivere all'estero (es.casa, trasporti, finanze, lavoro) ed aspetti se vogliamo piu' personali (come approcciare l'inserimento, atteggiamento mentale, difficolta' varie, esperienze vissute etc...).
Bene avere il sito organizzato in sezioni dedicate per tracciare i temi piu' pratici. Un appunto che si potrebbe fare e' che tali sezioni non sono sempre aggiornate. Per quanto riguarda i temi invece piu' personali e sociali direi che l'esperienza e' positiva visti i molti i punti di vista diversi che a volte si confrontano. Inoltre devo riconoscere che i casi di utenti "difficili" sono estremamente rari ed il supporto nella moderazione e' pronto ed efficace. Ho notato alcuni utenti interpretare arbitrariamente gli scopi e gli intenti del sito, scambiandolo per una piattaforma di "dating" o un social strumentale a promozioni private (es. prodotti finanziari). In questi casi il supporto ricevuto per decidere il ban o il blocco e' stato tempestivo.
Un auspicio: le comunita' di expat non sono vitali se ogni utente pensa al sito come una vending machine, richiedo --> ottengo--> arrivederci a tutti. Mi auguro che se il sito sia stato di aiuto a qualcuno, l'utente avverta il desiderio di restituire il beneficio ottenuto mettendo in comune la propria esperienza ai nuovi arrivati. La continuita' assieme all'accuratezza delle info condivise possono essere chiave per costruire una comunita' vitale che non sia solo una somma di utenti che soddisfano i loro bisogni.

Molto utile non c'è dubbio, ma lo trovo molto lento per comunicare con gli utenti tramite chat e per le notifiche, visto che la email non la guardiamo spesso, si rischia di leggerle troppo tardi.
Può migliorare sicuramente, magari con la possibilità di trasformare la chat in modo più interattivo o collegarla ad un link per accedere ad una chat tipo Messanger.
Comunque ringrazio per il vostro lavoro e la possibilità che mi avete dato nel contribuire a questo sito.

I have been participating in this website for almost 10 years and I think that this website is interesting to exchange information between expats if one goes directly to the point as long as they know and can separate the grain from the chaff.

As in any other website open to the public in general, everyone has space on it and we all know what happens when everyone can participate.

In any case, and although the freedom of speech, (or of the press) should be an inalienable right, there are opinions or advice that should be censored and their authors banned because racism, intolerance, unwanted advertising and illegal or dangerous advice should not be allowed under the protection of freedom of expression.

As some others have pointed out I think that this site has a flaw because allows to join locals who, in some forums, outnumber any real expats (and sometimes pretending to be expats), or foreigners who have nothing of expat since they either do not reside in the country (typical case of those who travel 2 or 22 times for whatever reason) or if they reside in the country, they do so as locals. The info provided by them is often incorrect so we have to take care with some advices althgough by others ways (webs) can be quickly identify theirs rubbish advice. I am surprised by this matter when i often read into these site some dangerous or illegal advices

Moreover some of them are biased or racist and mostly of them often make dodgy offers, using this site as an advertising platform for their services, drawing a false picture of some countries or criticizing and denying the real expat advice.

This website could be awesome for exchanging info between expats if it weren't for these and some other things which I understand are very difficult to keep under control.

It's a good and useful way to get information before you move to another country even for vacation you can consult about anything you need.

Entre a Expat.com el año pasado buscando información y experiencias de otros expatriados con los trámites burocráticos para obtener el permiso de residencia en Italia. Es un sitio bastante completo con buena información y en donde otras personas también dan sus aportes y cuentas sus experiencias personales. También puede servir para hacer nuevas amistades. Lo recomiendo.
