Ordered a month ago and still haven’t received it. Terrible service
3 week wait
Ordered on 02/01. Finally received fabric on 22/01, after all emails and phone messages being ignored for 3 weeks.
Fabric is mostly nice, but arrived scrunched up, in a taped up carrier bag.
The Xmas Star batiks and the FQ batik packs were nicely presented.
The quilt batting is perfect, and a bargain.
For me, receiving and opening up a fabric package, is part of the pleasure of sewing.
I would order the batting and the prepacked bundles again, but only f I wasn't in a hurry for it.

I ordered two lots of different fabric bundles and another single purchase fabric after i had trouble waiting for ages on another site , i must say im super impressed with the speedy delivery and the 2 bundles of fabric were fantastic and just what i needed, will definately using this site from now on , thankyou fabricgiant x

I ordered fabric on 1st Jan
I ordered fabric on 1st Jan, I allowed time for them to return to work after Christmas period, I sent 3 emails asking when fabric to be delivered, no response,eventually they come back to me saying fabric was out of stock, and the fabric would not be in for at least a week, that would me fabric would arrive possibly not until 19th Jan, I am going on holiday on the 20th so I cancelled the order, I have sent 3 emails all have been ignored, I received email yesterday saying fabric might be in tomorrow, too late please cancel my order and issue full refund, still being ignored
I fear this is a shell company collecting customer data to sell on
Customer service is polite but it does not function correctly as a fabric and yarn online shop. They advertise for sale products only for customer to later discover are unavailable. As customer has to register an account prior to checkout the only reason I can see is that data is being misused. I have requested deletion of my account and all data associated with me and wonder if anyone will reply.
Ordered Yarn but nothing dispatched
Ordered several balls of yarn because it's advertised as cheaper than elsewhere online. This company doesn't have a brick-and-mortar store, but when I looked up their address, it appears to be a mailbox. I should have checked Trustpilot reviews beforehand. Anyway, they haven't dispatched my order and haven't replied to my emails, so I've had to initiate a PayPal refund via the resolution centre.
Good fabric, arrived in good time
I ordered fabric late on Christmas Eve, but then read the reviews and was worried I'd made a bad choice.
I was sent updates when the order was despatched, plus tracking information.
The fabric arrived today, which is quite good considering there were bank holidays and weekends in between.
Fabric is as described and good quality for the price, so I'm very happy.

I have been waiting for my refund for quite a few weeks as they were unable to supply the fabric I ordered in October. They sent the refund to PayPal but it didn’t go through apart from£3.95 which they sent separately. Despite telling me they are looking into it I still do not have my refund in full. Now they are not answering my emails. Next stop legal and small claims court unless I get an answer by next week…. And the refund

I first bought from this company on eBay, and when my order arrived it included a discount voucher. The price of the wool was already very good, so I decided to order again. After placing my second order, I read some reviews and became quite worried — but I didn’t need to be. My order arrived without any issues, and everything was absolutely fine.

Read the pathetic reviews of the Company, and then AVOID.
They really are as bad as they sound, they take the money, hang on to it and totally refuse to communicate, despite countless telephone calls where it goes to answer phone and emails which they ignore.
They really are a scandalous set up where the customer is the last of their considerations and their IT is none existent.
Far better companies, who are honest, truthful and a pleasure to deal with and are customer focused, unlike this shower.
Order never arrived and no way to contact company
Ordered 2m of Christmas fabric at the start of December to make my daughter a stocking for her first Christmas. It’s been two weeks and no update on the order at all, can’t get through to anyone to ask where my order is as the phone just goes through to some American voicemail extension. No tracking information or anything to help so I am completely in the dark as to whether my order will arrive in time. I have had to order from elsewhere so I know the fabric will arrive in time. I’m hoping my bank will be able to help with a refund as I haven’t received my order.
Don’t bother with this company, there are so many better places to buy fabric from!

I ordered some wool from them, tracking said it had been dispatched, 3 weeks later it's still not arrived. Emailed and phoned, no response to either. Reimbursed by paypal. Won't use them again.

I have bought from Fabric Giant for 5 years and definitely recommend.
I have been purchasing fabric from Fabric Giant for over 5 years now. I do buy alot of the clearance fabric as I make items for charities to sell and raise funds. Occasionally the fabric has not been available in the amount I order - being clearance it's understandable. I always have a phone call or text message asking if I would like a refund or a similar product.
Just avoid this company
I'll preface this review by saying I did eventually get my order.
This company has no physical premises. There online 'address' appears to be a mailbox office in Leeds.
Their 'contact' phone number is never answered and trips to an American accent call answering service that asks you to leave a message then can't let you because the mailbox is full.
They don't reply to email messages
They don't reply to social media messages
They are customer illiterate.
I ordered and within a couple of days the link to my order said it had been dispatched via Royal Mail. When it wasn't received I began chasing.....and chasing....and chasing. Literally zero contact back. I pleaded for contact as I was convinced I'd been scammed out of money I could ill afford. Finally after 2 weeks the order arrived via Yodel so it hadn't been sent via Royal Mail 10 days ago after all.
The stress was ridiculous. Their approach to customer service was ridiculous.
Just use someone else.
The company is fine, Courier rubbish
The company is fine, as far as I can tell. The problem is the courier service they use. Their website says they use Royal Mail but in fact they used Yodel. Unlike every other courier I've received items from, Yodel do not contact the customer at all. No email to say they have the parcel, no email to indicate when it will be delivered and so, you're left having to wait in for days on the off chance that may be the day they deliver. when I contacted Fabric Giant to inform them that I had still not received my item, they emailed back to say that Yodel had attempted delivery 3 times. WELL maybe if they'd informed me it was out for delivery I would have been in.
