I have never owned a tarantula before and I have never ordered live animals over the internet so this was kind of a nerve wracking experience for me not knowing what to expect. I ended up with three tarantulas, I ordered the journey package which basically lets the people at the store surprise me with select beginner species and I also got a freebie on my first order which I thought was pretty awesome. One of the Ts I got in the journey package was similar but not the same as the freebie I picked. I wrote to the store and believe it or not my phone started ringing. They were calling me to talk about my email I sent which I thought was very respectable considering they could have just sent another email. Emma explained to me what had happened, why it happened, and how she was going to make it right. After she explained it to me I felt a little embarrassed because they had every right to tell me that what I received was fair and that would be the end of it. I think she could tell that it mattered to me and she offered me another T, free of charge and shipped that week. I couldn't ask for better customer service. If you're on the fence about who you should order from, I can say that if you choose Fear Not you won't be disappointed. They definitely care about your experience with them, Emma showed that to me with her patience and her knowledge and her caring. Thanks From a New Father of Four.

I absolutely love my tarantulas. The setup was easy. They arrived healthy.Both ate the same day they arrived. It’s been 16 days since I’ve had them, and they seem to be thriving and growing. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and beginning to a lifetime of enjoyment.

I have been getting tarantulas for the last four years, pretty much since I started in the hobby and probably have ordered half of my spiders from Fear Not (and I have a lot lol). Every spider has always been wonderful, healthy, and shipped perfectly. I exclusively use them for online ordering and don’t order from anyone else. Highly recommend them!

Fear Not Tarantula has the healthiest baby slings and the most dedicated awesome staff. I have bought from them many times and have never once had an unpleasant experience. They are top notch. They do everything in their power to provide the best safe packaging for the slings, they are great with communication and offer the best advice for husbandry and sling care and go above and beyond to ensure the best experience for both you and your growing little spood. They are amazing and have great customer support. If you're looking to buy a tarantula, or are new to the hobby, they can help you get started. I've bought probably around 30 tarantulas from them. I've also bought scorpions and tailless whip scorpions that are all still thriving to this day. Their animals are NOT just animals to be sold. They actually care. They show it in the care they have shown their T's both in shop and in delivery and the experience they provide to people like you and me. You can't go wrong with fear not tarantulas. I have placed 10+ orders from FearNotTarantulas since my first back in 2020 and have had nothing but positive experiences with them! Every tarantula, scorpion, tailless whip scorpion, beetle, and true spider that I have purchased from them has arrived healthy and active. I cannot recommend them enough! Phenomenal customer service with Phenomenal animals at great prices especially during their fun sales like the mystery events! What more could you want from a tarantula shop?

Purchased a complete package and a few other invertebrates in January 2026 and this company was awesome! Super well packaged and safe cute little tarantula slings that were very active after their trip. Highly recommend as they’ve also been super prompt with replies and patient with any questions I have.

I am fairly new to tarantula keeping and just found out about FNT over the past few months. I have a lucky enough to work only a few miles from the store, so am able to stop in every once in a while when we place an order. The staff is great, and the slings are thriving! I highly recommend this store.

I’m a first time keeper. Got my first order in October 2025. Six months later my four tarantulas are thriving. I got The Walk in the Park mystery box. In it was a GBB and a Lasiodora Klugi. I also got a Mexican Redknee and Curly Hair. The communication via email was on point I got responses within the 24hrs I sent one with questions. Now that the weather is warming up I plan to order more T’s from FearNot especially they allow home deliveries as I have no hub near me.

I ordered 3 tarantulas from FnT and they are all thriving! I requested the packages so it came with their enclosures and they are the perfect size and came with everything! They were very professional and the tarantulas were beautiful. Highly recommend 10/10

We have purchased tarantulas from fear not and several other companies in the past. This last purchase we found the tarantula on its back less than 24 hours after it arrived. We assumed it was molting and left it alone. The next day it was obviously dead. We contacted them and they asked for pictures of the t and the enclosure (they provided the very cheap enclosure). After providing the pictures they essentially blamed it on us for picking up the tarantula 3 hours after it arrived and not within 2. They were nice enough to tell us we could buy another tarantula from them to replace it but that was the extent of it. It was alive and well when we picked it up, and only died after putting it in their enclosure. Would have liked some accountability from the team. We have owned over 20 tarantulas and this is our first time having one die less than 24 hours after receiving it.

FearNot is amazing. They communicate quickly and clearly. I have had a great experience with every single interaction I have had with this company. Also, they have great sales, special events, and information available as well as a good variety of species. I seriously love FearNot and they are the first name I list when recommending where to get a tarantula/invert from.

They are top-quality tarantula vendors as well as educated on many different species & husbandry. I have had one order in the past that had a wrong spider & they let me keep the oopsie spider and sent me the one I wanted, no charge! I also recently suffered my 1st tarantula loss & they did not judge me & helped me troubleshoot what caused my loss. No other tarantula shop that excels their service. Do recommend!! 🕷🕷🕷
