Easy Peasy!
What an easy and professional way to start HRT! My PCP and GYN both declined ordering labs specifically for hormones and only want to prescribe Estrogen and Progesterone. Not only that, even though my TSH is typically high normal and I have all the symptoms of hypothyroidism, they won’t treat it because it’s “normal” I am excited to start on this new journey back to my younger self!

Finally a great resource
It was so great to speak to someone that is experienced at dealing with women and menopause. I was so tired of hearing that’s how your body is and your labs look like a post menopausal woman… The conversation was educational and I’m excited to work with Fem Excel.

My Provider is Awesome! Thank You Rebecca!
My provider, Rebecca Barnett, is so knowledgeable about bio identical HT and so positive, that I feel hope that I will be feeling better and that I am on the right track with treatment. I can't wait to see how this goes, but I am very optimistic. She has great insight and I particularly appreciate her sharing her own experiences. I am go glad to have found FemExcel (through my husband, who recently started with male excel) and I feel so fortunate that I have Rebecca as my provider. I feel I can trust her with my care and that my care is really important to her.
Everyone else at Fem Excel has also been wonderful and helpful, and the whole process seems to be going smoothly and easily.

Charged w/o consent; increases in dosage w/o consent
Primary issue is being charged without approval or notification. I did not have a scheduled doctor’s appointment to discuss my symptoms or side effects prior to an increase in progesterone. FemExcel refused my request to refund the $350 charged for the medication refill that I did not approved or acknowledge, nor was a doctor involved from what I can see on my end. All “they” did was finally acknowledge that they authorized the increase and refill without my knowing. Additionally, I have not had updated lab work since December 2025 to ensure that they are prescribing the correct medication and amounts. It is also suspicious that all medication and lab work is done in-house without third-party verification. I also don’t like interacting with AI in the chat, and I would prefer an actual person. It’s a money making scheme across all 50 states.

In terms of labs, they aren’t required for every refill. Care is guided by your symptoms, medical history, and provider judgment, with labs used at key intervals to support and optimize treatment. That said, you should always feel confident in how your care is being managed.
