Brilliant experience for me. Staff at Ffordes are very welcoming and happy to answer any questions. Anything I asked of them the did for me (even negotiated on the price!). Was quite nervous perchasing a rare and expensive lens from the other side of the world, but it arrived today as described and in the order as expected. Will definatley shop again and would recommed these guys to anyone. Nice work Ffordes from a very satisfied customer.

Delt with Ffordes for years, always found them very helpful and prices are always keen. Only ever had one minor problem with a purchase which was resolved very quickly and in an extremely friendly manner. I always look at them first when buying or selling gear.

Have dealt with Ffordes for a few years now and always received very good service and great advice. Staff are very friendly and helpful too.

I made an order for a used battery grip but due to a glitch I got an email to say ordered but not so. On the first opportunity Ffordes phoned me to say that the payment had not gone through. So dropping everything I reordered said battery grip as it was now back on their site for anyone to buy. But luck was on my side and I got it and had another confirmation to say so and payment had gone through. If I had not been available I could have missed my emails but due to the prompt service of Stevee at Ffordes all ended well with me getting my battery grip the following day. Fantastic service which is why they are my first go to site if I want something and usually am rewarded by their site and overall efficiency.

Two difficult to find items bought and delivered efficiently: Takumar 135mm f2.5 almost mint with case and hood also a camera strap for Pentax LX with those special fittings like new,

Ffordes are excellent, I’ve been buying from them for many years, and they have never let me down. They have sold me a couple of faulty second hand lenses, but these have been replaced or refunded without any unpleasantness. They are rarely beaten on second hand prices too. Much cheaper and more reliable than buying from EBay.

Have been buying cameras, lenses, film (yes, they sell film, and very good value!) for a few years now. Always good stuff, as described. Always quick delivery. They also happily follow through on their warranty (had a Rollei 66 lens seize up a few weeks after buying - no problem, all fixed quickly without fuss).

Excellent service. I part-exchanged a load of old equipment for a new Sony bridge camera (for my wife) and the assistance provided by Ffordes was exemplary. The shop is replete with both new and used products and is well worth a visit. I have no hesitation in recommending Ffordes.

Happy customer, both as seller and buyer. The quality standards are quite high (imo) which is a good thing and the prices very fair. One thing to watch out for is postage - the minimum is nearly a tenner - but that gets really good packaging and 24 hour delivery. To be fair the delivery cost encourages me to have a good dig around the site before ordering. The product images are a little small too, but they answer any queries very quickly

three years ago I first walked into ffords, as a new photographer, with very little idea of what I was doing , over the last three years the assistance and advice from the friendly and very helpful staff at ffords has been invaluable ! being able to ask questions, and get advice, try out lenses, and cameras, having someone who can help he with problems , and to have all this on my doorstep has been superb .
they have a huge stock of quality second hand gear, with 6 month cover, I had a problem with a second hand lens, its was resolved over the phone, and exchanged the same day! I have bought several quality lenses, cameras, tripods filters,( more than I hope my wife ever finds out about !) and would and have recommended anyone who is looking for any photography equipment to try there first .
