After ordering a similar console table from another source, I wasn’t told the delivery time was months away due to shipping so I started to look if I could purchase it in uk quicker and sure enough, I found one from you and I got my delivery within days after months of waiting from other suppliers and I’m over the moon . Well packaged, beautiful piece 😃👌

Item came damaged. Not packaged very well. Seems to be the business model to cut costs on delivery and accept the losses. Customer services isn't too bad, but you have to pester them or they don't seem to be doing anything. So buying here is a risk. The furniture is nice enough, but high chance it won't get to you in perfect condition. For me, overall, a waste of time.

I can completely understand why it felt that way, but cutting corners on packaging or accepting transit damage is the absolute opposite of how we operate. As an independent design brand, our solid wood pieces are crafted to last, and seeing an item arrive damaged due to insufficient packaging is just as heartbreaking and unacceptable for us as it is disappointing for you.
You are also completely right about customer service: you should never have had to chase our team to get updates or action on a damaged delivery. We are currently overhauling our warehouse packaging standards and support response times with our logistics partners to ensure transit protection is significantly reinforced.

Do not buy anything from them
Do not buy anything from them. They are the most hellish business to work with ever. They bill themselves as a family run English firm, but my god try and speak to them from their overseas call centre and you’ll soon find out that is not the case.
Also check on companies house - definitely not English, the owner lives in Madrid!!
Chairs came all broken, 6 of them completely cracked. Tried to refund, didn’t pick the chairs up and now I have to have them in the house for another week whilst they sort out their courier problems.
Genuinely, I will pay anyone here £10 just to not use them. They are a disgrace of a company and the worse I have had the pleasure of dealing with

Whilst I am very sorry that your chairs arrived with transit damage and that DPD missed your scheduled Friday collection window, I want to clarify the facts here for anyone reading:
Full Refund Already Issued: As soon as you let us know DPD hadn't arrived on Friday afternoon, I personally processed a 100% full refund back to your payment card immediately—without even waiting for the chairs to be collected or returned to our warehouse first.
Collection: We booked a tracked DPD home collection (0045 549 033 5) for Friday at our expense. While DPD's local driver failed to complete the pickup on the day, we immediately offered to re-book the collection for whichever day suits you best now that your money has already been refunded in full.
Our Business: Fishe & Lilly is indeed an English family-founded business, registered in the UK and shipping from our UK warehouse, supported by our dedicated customer service team.
Please reply to our email thread to let us know which day suits you for DPD to collect the refunded chairs, and we will have them out of your way immediately.

When I spoke to them, they blamed the courier. - *This is an update on my review, the service I experienced after posting the original review was better and acknowledging their actions is always reassuring. Excellent customer service
I was really happy with the customer service I received from Fishe and Lilly. I had bought some furniture from a different company and it was a completely different colour to the image online, and they had the cheek to charge me to return it. Not wanting the same experience twice I emailed Fishe and Lilly and they actually proceeded to send me a sample of the wood of the piece of furniture I’m looking at. It arrived quickly and is great quality too.
