FIXIMER Reviews

Everything is okay, just i still waiting for vat receipt nearly a month ...

Ordered banister base rail spindles and Newel post cladding in oak very good quality and look lovely the only downside was the delivery there was no choice
Of dates I just got a date that was a day when I was back in Bolton working that week so I had to take the day off to travel back to lakes to be in to collect the packages then travel back to Bolton I wasn’t to happy about the lack of communication about the delivery

I purchased a very large order of Rustic Oak treads (about 2K worth) after buying the additional sample kit, as I wanted to make sure that the quality I was buying was good for the price. Upon unboxing the treads, I couldn't notice anything wrong given that the lighting on them would constantly change as I rotated the wood in my hand to check for damage. Once the treads were fixed on the staircases, however, it emerged that almost all (but not all, this is key) treads have a line separating 2 different color shades between the main surface of the treads and their nose. This line is not visible on the pictures of the treads in question on the Fiximer website and was not visible either on the sample tread that I purchased. The lack of any visible difference in color is what convinced me to buy the treads. But now I find myself with the majority of treads, already fixed, with a clear line demarcating different color shades.
I did inform the customer service team who advised that that is the "Rustic Oak effect", without answering why only some treads have it and other don't and ignoring my statement that that line is not visible in pictures and it was not visible in the sample kit I bought.
They offered me a mere 10% discount on the value of 3 treads (amounting to about 9 pounds) as a gesture of "goodwill", as if by pity. I am very unhappy with the outcome so sorry Fiximer, but I want to warn future customers buying Rustic Oak treads. They may not look like you expect in the end. The quality of the Oak itself at least is good.

Great customer service, I asked for a quick turnaround and delivery by a specific date. Sales, checked with the workshop if they could manufacture in time for the delivery which they confirmed. As promised everything arrived before our cut off date. Quality oak, nicely finished and all straight and true pieces of wood.

This is my second order with Fiximer and I would definitely recommend their products and company.

Well done Fiximer!!!!

Really love the bannisters we bought from fiximer they are great quality and good prices so very happy with purchase and would highly recommend.

Fantastic website, competitive prices and great quality products. This company is our go to for all our window cladding requirements and will be go to when we start work on the staircase. Great communication and quick delivery.

I needed some wooden worktop, preferably oak for a project to refurbish a kitchen and dining room. I wanted a solid wood surface for my bookcase and also my built-in bench seating. After much searching, I came across Fixmer, following a very helpful phone call with one of their colleagues I went ahead and purchased one A/BC Grade – Solid European Oak Panel 20mm and two Finger Joint Grade – Solid European Oak Panels 20mm online. These were available in different lengths to avoid wastage and ease of fitting in my car. I arranged to collect my purchase from their showroom was easy and they kept the panels ready wrapped to one side for me ready for my arrival. This was far cheaper despite the 200 mile (e.v.) round-trip and getting a delivery. When I arrived, I was greeted by friendly helpful staff and offered a coffee whilst my oak board was collected from the warehouse. I highly recommend Fixmer for quality of products price and customer service and would definitely purchase from them again.

Product was second to none, service was of the highest order, it was a real pleasure dealing with the whole team at FIXIMER.

Fantastic well thought out kit ,

Absolutely brilliant service would definitely use these again thank you

Very good quality stairs. They are strong, stable, and easy to install. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend them.

Good quality, quick service
There was a problem with a missing item but Ben sorted it very quickly

Great service? Arrived in good time. Shelf was expertly packed no damage during transport. Lovely piece of engineered white oak well finished. Second time we have used this company and will likely use again.

Used this company for all my engineered door linings and architrave as well as oak clad window boards and had fantastic service from beginning to end, all products have been high quality and packaged immaculately.
I like that you can make enquires through whatsapp and response time is good, I would highly recommend this company.

Terrible experience. I ordered 13 oak treads, saw the Ts&Cs on the package which stated that items should be checked within 48hrs. I took the treads out, checked that they were all there and looked OK. Then kept them flat in the (warm and dry) bedroom until my handyman came 18 days later. He took out his spirit level and saw that a couple of them were slightly warped (about 5mm). Fiximir initially said that I had not adhered to the T&Cs as I had not immediately sealed them, so they were unable to do anything about it. They also said that had the treads been warped on delivery, I would have noticed. I sent them a photo to show how to an untrained eye the treads looked fine but they were having none of this. After several back and forths, they agreed to replace the two treads if I sent the faulty ones back at my own expense, all the while making it clear that they were under no obligation to do this as the treads hadn't been sealed. As the cost of this would have been almost as much as buying two new ones, I politely declined. This could all have been resolved so easily but instead Fiximir chose to deliver a really poor customer service. I would not recommend them.

Special mention for Declan who sorted out my problem made sure the replacement wood matched my previous order. All sales staff are very knowledgeable friendly and very helpful
