Very poor customer service provided by…

Very poor customer service provided by a employee named Jennifer.
I was sent the wrong item and was told that it was my error and that they would not cover the return shipping cost...$9.00 to provide good service and build good customer relations.

Rip Off's and Rude

They tried to claim they did some "extra" work on my car I didnt ask them to do and then yelled at me when I said I wasn't going to pay for it. I asked another employee to call the store manager and he couldn't have been less interested about the whole situation.
Worst customer service I've ever had. Will never do business there again!!!

Will never buy a major item at Fleet Farm again

Will never buy a major item at Fleet Farm again- purchased a new lawn tractor, the next day after thoroughly reviewing the manual, connected the battery and added fuel - started the tractor and engaged the mower deck - it had a horrific shaking and vibrating. Checked further with same result - never used it and it had about 5 minutes of run time. Fleet Farm told me they would not take it back because I had added gas (which would be the only way to know if it has an issue) - referred me to a repair sub-contractor they use for "warranty work" - took the tractor there the same day - they were so backed up I could not even leave it there and it would be at least a month until they could look at it. So, I had a new tractor I could not use - I dropped it off at Fleet Farm (without their approval) returned the keys and manual and informed them I was going to stop payment/dispute the charge on my Amex card used for the purchase. Customer service rep simply said OK and I left. So, now they have the lawn tractor and my money, and I am pursuing a refund through AMEX. The store nor anyone from Fleet Farm has followed up to contact me any further. If Amex does not secure the refund I will certainly take them to small claims court and I am confident I will prevail in recovery. They were amazingly indifferent about the issue or the situation and seem to care less - as if hey you bought it and now it's your problem. Really bad customer service - beware.

Switching to Blain’s Farm & Fleet-Bye Bye Mills Fleet Farm

We spend thousands of dollars a year for feed and other items. Just spent another $100+ and three hours later received a coupon via text for 10% off. Went into store to see what they would do....maybe a $5 off coupon or something to make me feel like a valued customer. NOPE. They wanted me to return several hundred lbs of corn and bird seed and repurchase them, wouldn't just adjust my receipt. Called corporate and got the same stupid runaround. Tempted to back up to the door and let them unload it all so I can return it and go somewhere else. So looks like Blains Farm and Fleet for me. Bye bye Fleet Farm. We hope you enjoy your $10.

Great products. Great employees

Milwaukee drill was on sale at Fleet Farm. Looked for it, but bin was empty. Asked an employee when the drill would be in stock, he double checked inventory, searched and found the drill. I've always found Fleet Farm employees to be friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Great place to buy quality products.

Going downhill fast!

Worst customer service! Never go to West Bend after 3pm! The young kids working in Automotive have no clue what they're doing! One guy was very dirty and very unprofessional, the other looked like he was on drugs and didn't know where he was. I've been going there for years and haven't had a problem until recently. What happened to hiring professionals who can help customers? The other departments don't seem to have any problems finding what I need and they are very courteous and there is never an issue during the day. I feel society is lost if this is the best these kids can do.

Gun Purchasing?

This is a long post, but worth the read if you are in the market to purchase a gun from Fleet Farm. I'm a 66 year old woman. Went to Cabellas WITH MY BROTHER IN LAW to buy my first gun. Cabellas choose to believe I was a straw buyer and was attempting to buy a gun for the vicious looking 73 year old man (my brother in law) that accompanied me. Cabellas denied me with no explanation. I was told by friends to just go somewhere else as it's a store policy, not a background check issue. Great....I go to Fleet Farm WITHOUT MY BROTHER IN LAW this time. I fully explained to the sales person what happened at Cabellas because I wasn't sure if it was on my record somewhere and wanted to be UP FRONT and HONEST and not waste both of our time if they were going to deny me. No, that's not a problem they said. That was just Cabella's store policy. At first, they didn't deny me. They said there was a delay and they would get back to me. Get back to me they did, and said they were denying me because someone who fit my description was attempting to buy a gun for someone else at Cabellas. So couple morals of the story. 1. Fleet Farm should be very worried about the decisions their store employees make as they are based off what Cabellas does. 2. Makes no sense to be up front and honest these days. Such a sad world. And at the end of the day me, a 66 year old woman, with nothing on her record and honest and up front can't buy a gun. Smacking my head.

It started when I tried to make an oil…

It started when I tried to make an oil change appointment the phone was answered by a machine not a problem. I gave my info and waited for over 3 hours for a response. I then went to the service center to make an appointment the bays were all empty and 5 people were around the counter all worker’s. I made my appointment and left. I returned the next morning for my appointment. I’m pretty sure that an oil change shouldn’t take 2 hours but it did . I then looked outside my vehicle was finished. The counter people called the names of everyone who arrived after I did and had the same service done. I know this because I asked them. I then asked could someone please help me get out of there . Then I was taken care of. On top of everything else I went home and 6 hours later they called to see if I still wanted to make an oil change appointment!!! Ya gotta laugh and not go back !!

INCOMPETENCE

The rewards program at this store is a joke. We went in to use a $5 reward we had and not only did the checker ignore my telling him to check for it but he was over the top rude when I complained. We used to spend a couple hundred dollars at this store per month in SIOUX FALLS SD but we are done. I am sick of incompetence and no customer service. You cannot even contact the store because their email address just bounces. What a rip off and a farce.
