We booked our Douro river cruise with Pam who was very helpful . I had asked why they had charged more than what the Sunday Mail had advertised and was told it was a different date then stated. Again no free excursions or transfer. Had asked if there were any other English speaking people was told yes but only 6 in total out of 120. Advert was very misleading as final cost was a lot more then expected. Cruise was fantastic and crew very friendly and food extremely good. Only one complaint is the cabins and shower are tiny. The walls are paper thin as you can hear your neighbours every word .

Once I got my head round our minimal baggage allowance, not frequent flyers ! & finding our own way from airport to hotel to cruise ship & back, our holiday was fantastic & all went well. The Hotel was very good & the cruise was absolutely brilliant. The ship was very clean, food was fabulous, we didn't want for anything. The staff were awesome & very friendly & hardworking. The Douro River was stunning, we loved every minute. It was my 70th Birthday treat & our Honeymoon. Thank you.

Fantastic customer service from Grace. She helped me choose a cruise and amended things several times at my request as I was “tweaking” to get the best holiday for my mum and I - I’d definitely recommend “Flights and Packages”

Last year we did an amazing 17 day tour of India, booked through Flights and Packages, and had such an amazing experience (and fantastic customer service from Nick) that when a marketing email came through advertising a river cruise on the Douro we did not hesitate to book again.... such a mistake.

From the minute we rang up to enquire Rose, who we dealt with throughout our booking process, did not seem to have a clue what she was doing. The only time she was "on the ball" was at payment time!!

We booked the package deal for us and a relative, which included basic flights, overnight hotel, and the 7 night river cruise. We asked for hold luggage to be added, at an additional cost, and this was put through on Ryanair Plus (which includes seat allocation) but when we queried this we were told if we wanted to choose our seats we would have to pay another additional fee to the airline directly.

We were told both bookings were under the same reference, they weren't.
We were told the seat allocation was not included (on one couples booking it was on the other it wasn't! why / how?)
We had to chase up confirmation for the additional luggage 3 times over a period of 5 days.
We asked about cruise insurance, it took 3 emails and 5 days to get a response.

But the worst was to come when our relatives had to cancel due to illness, Flights and Packages were absolutely useless.

We rang to tell them about the probable cancellation and to ask what our options were and was told Rose would ring us back to discuss - she didn't. We had to follow this up with an email before we got any response. Their response was extremely vague as to what the refund policy was. We were told that both the flights and the hotel were non refundable and that the cruise was only 40% refundable. We asked for a breakdown of the costs (otherwise how else did they know how much of the refund was due) but was told that was not possible as it was a "package deal". We checked the website of the cruise company and their t & c's said 50% refund would be given at the 6 week before cruise marker but, even though we cut and paste these t&c's to Flights and Packages they insisted it was only 40% but refused to send any paperwork to back this up.

After several more ignored emails we lost the will to live (clearly the way they deal with customers in the hope that they will just "go away") and asked for the refund they had stated to be sent - just over 20% of the total cost of the holiday!! Flights and Packages then took almost 2 weeks, and 5 follow up emails before they processed this refund.

The whole situation has been a complete nightmare. A holiday is supposed to be a relaxing experience but when you get this level of customer service before you even start your holiday it clearly takes away that enjoyment. Flights and Packages is a company I will NEVER trust again for any future travels.

We’ve recently returned from our trip to Seville in the Belle de Cádiz river cruise booked though Pam from flightsandpackages. Our trip was amazing, everything was organised to perfection. The trip was fantastic value for money and will definitely be booking another trip through Flightsandpackages.

Booked a F&P Croisi river cruise package to the Douro.
Cannot fault the attention and service given to myself by Ankita, who gladly rescheduled our return flight for an additional night in Porto. She was also very proactive and responsive to queries and documentation.
Would certainly use F&P again if Ankita was our booking agent...

Competitive pricing, good response time and attention to detail. I have used this company 5 times when booking cruise holidays and have no complaints whatsoever.

Used this company to book a River Cruise which was advertised as inclusive. During the booking process the agent at flights & packages took the time to explain checked luggage wasn't included transfers weren't either or booking seats together on the plane. These were all added costs. However she didn't explain any of the excursions were included in the 'inclusive' price which has been on other River Cruises we've been on. That was a fundamental bit of information the agent could have provided at the time of booking. When we arrived on the ship, we were told excursions or gratuities were not included in the price. Excursions cost an additional £1000 & gratuities £150, which made this an expensive holiday. In general, I found communication from this travel agent is not great after the deposit is paid. I had to chase the company up to pay the balance & for the tickets & associated documentation prior to the holiday which is the first time I've ever had to do that with a travel agent. To be honest, I'm not sure flights & packages would be at the top of my list for booking future holidays.

We got back yesterday from a terrific River Cruise on the Douro.

Travelling with Viva was brilliant, better than Riviera, and the Transfer company were totally on the ball communicating with us and provided a great experience.

From the first contact the staff were helpful knowledgeable and friendly. The river cruise we chose was from an advertisement for Croisi Europe a company we had previously used. All the information given at the first contact was clear and comprehensive. Further details were provided on request and the resulting cruise was perfect in every way. The cruise operators were without perfect in every way, catering for every passenger’s personal requirements. The knowledge and experience from the crew at each stop made the visit a memorable experience. This cruise on the Guadalquiver from Seville showed us a part of Spain less visited by tourists

We saw a CroisiEurope river cruise advertised for the Guadalquivir river out of Sevilla for a good price and Flights and Packages was the booking agent.
Ankita was our contact and we found her very aimiable and efficient. It is the first time we have used both the cruiseline and the booking company.

As we live in southern Spain, we wanted to make our own way to the ship, Antika sorted this for us without too much trouble.

We booked only a short time before travelling, which may explain the rather hurried payment process, but we found it a bit unusual not to get a formal invoice detailing what was included, prior to having to pay, resulting in several more phone calls to clarify certain aspects.

We are regular travelers and have favourite travel agents we have used over the years. The river cruise we booked was exclusive to Flights and Packages. I doubt we will use them, nor cruise with CroisiEurope again.

Our first experience of Flights and Packages. Ankita the agent was responsive and helpful treating us as individuals over several calls. The 2 centre holiday in Rome and Sicily was superb and great value. Both hotels were well chosen by company - great breakfasts and good locations. Extras included train journey and open top bus tour. Thoroughly enjoyable and recommended. Thankyou Ankita!

Ankita was very efficient, communicated well and all documents received promptly & correctly. The only disappointment was there was no transfers included, & expensive to upgrade on the overnight sleeper train €100 pp, which was not justified, very cramped & uncomfortable & was never a x4 bed sleeper.

This is a very easy review to write. Our recent trip to Ischia via Naples could not have been better organised. There was always someone there to assist between airport, hotel, ferry and day trips. Nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous holiday this company is tremendous. Thank you!!

We recently came back from a river cruise on the danube and this was the first time me and my wife have been on any kind of cruise, I must say that we really enjoyed the experience, this was all possible because of our wonderful travel agent Ankita Toner who handled everything for us and provided a great offer for us. She always kept us fully informed and answered all our queries by phone and email. It was a joy to deal with person that was so helpful and always on hand with any issues that may of arisen. Thank you very much Ankita, we will certainly come back to you for our next holiday booking. xx

We travelled to India in May for the 1st time for my 60th Birthday trip and can honestly say that everything was perfect from the start of the booking with Anika to the flights back home to uk.
When we arrived in Kochin, we were greeted by Lali who drove us around Kerala for the next 7 days. He is one of the loveliest people we have ever met and was so kind and helpful throughout our trip.
We enjoyed the whole experience and visited Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady, a Houseboat in Alappuzha and Poovar.
One of the most humbling things on our trip was visiting the Srishti Welfare Centre. It empowers specially-abled individuals and dependents of tea plantation workers by teaching them trades and providing sustainable livelihoods. We were fascinated by the various paper items made with Elephant Dung 😄
We had a cooking class with Maria - Excellent! We met a wonderful couple Cyriac and his wife Dolly at their Pepper County Home Stay and had the most fascinating tour around their spice plantation, We saw Waterfalls, Periyar Lake, Kathakali Dancing and a martial arts show. The houseboat stay was quite special and there was stunning scenery everywhere and so much more. It was simply fantastic and we look forward to our next trip with Flights and Packages.

Flights and Packages took a large deposit for a trip to India and Goa via Bahrain a couple of weeks later the war broke out and the British government advised against all travel to Bahrain. Flights and Packages refused to refund any of our deposit and their customer service was inflexible and downright rude. They tried to pressurise us into paying the full balance for the holiday. We asked to travel via an alternative route but flights and packages wanted to charge us for the Gulf air flights to Bahrain as well as the alternative flights. By this time there was no way I was going to travel with this cowboy outfit, so we lost all of our deposit. DO NOT TRAVEL WITH THIS COMPANY!

This is the 2nd time we have booked with Flights & Packages. We booked a 3 centre holiday, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. Thanks to Ankita for managing logistics brilliantly so everything ran like clockwork. Her customer focus and service is outstanding and nothing is too much trouble. Due to her exceptional care we had a enjoyable and carefree holiday. We highly recommend booking your holiday through Ankita via flights and packages.

Although I'm not starting my holiday until the 25th of May, I felt I had to thank Kerry from Flightsandpackages for his help in arranging a three centre holiday for myself and a friend.
