Very disappointing experience. I spent over £800 on laminate flooring, only to find that many of the boards did not fit together properly, making installation extremely difficult. When I contacted customer service to request a replacement for the faulty flooring or to return the unused packs, I received little to no support. My emails and messages were repeatedly ignored, and I was left without any resolution. To make matters worse, I was never informed about their 10% return policy at the time of purchase, which came as an unpleasant surprise when I tried to return the flooring.
I strongly recommend that anyone considering buying from this company look elsewhere. Based on my experience, I would avoid Floor Giants Swansea altogether.

Customer service is shockingly terrible. Emailed twice chasing my order, ordered 20th June 26, its now 6th July and still no reply. I've rang the customer service line 5 times. Sales reps have told me my order is probably in my local store (not definitely). Spoke to my local store a few times with their answer being no deliveries have been made to local store. So still none the wiser where my order actually is. Phoned customer service again today, which went through to the Durham store. Spoke to the only helpful employee that Floor Giants employ, who has actually chased my order and now i'm awaiting a phone call from a manager who hopefully will be able to update and actually get my order delivered to me 🤞

Amazing service. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon with an idea of what we wanted for our hallway but not entirely sure what product was right. The team were brilliant, advised on the different types available and what would work best for our layout etc. They were very knowledgable, made us feel at ease and nothing was too much trouble. They were really patient while we decided what we wanted and took the time to work through even the smallest of details. Can’t wait to see the finished result but after today I’m certain we’ll be over the moon!

First time visiting the Cardiff store and was very impressed. Karl provided excellent customer service and nothing was too much trouble for him. No hard sell either. The store had a wide range of wooden flooring and carpets and we were able to take away our purchase that same day. Will have no hesitation in recommending or returning to the store in the future.

Sent an inexperienced fitter who has made numerous mistakes leaving us with a floor that started coming apart within days. Floor Giants have refused to accept any responsibility so have left us having to go through the small claims court as it seems many others have had to do as well.

Floor wasn’t what we had selected and was very poor quality. Company not interested in resolving the issues so we had no alternative but to go to small claims court. Court have awarded a CCJ against them and they have ignored it. On checking there are many CCJ’S outstanding with one for over £9000! Next step is enforcement and Trading Standards

Great service quick delivery

Excellent service from the lads at floor giants Swansea. I was 3 packs short of a discontinued product and the team went out of their way to track down what I needed. Very polite and helpful. I would strongly recommend to anyone.

Visited Floor giants this morning with queries over LVT flooring , Jamie and his colleague Owen were excellent , in their advice and customer care, Jamie negotiated a further discount and we left the store very happy with our purchase , would thoroughly recommend visiting , rather than spending hours trawling through google 👍

Recently purchased Zentro Dune Drift Oak SPC flooring from the Derby branch and upon collection from their warehouse I was given Lignum Core Sahara Oak. Upon questioning this, they said that Lignum is the trade name for the Zentro, very strange! I subsequently researched Lignum Core and found it readily available at many retailers at a significantly lower price. Doesn't feel great being ripped off!!

Absolutely disappointing experience with Floor Giants Swansea. The customer service is shocking and the return policy feels deliberately misleading. At no point were we clearly told about this ridiculous “10% return policy” - only that returns were allowed within 28 days. Conveniently, once they’ve got your money, communication suddenly disappears. Emails ignored, no accountability, and zero effort to resolve the issue professionally.

Would never recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the stress and go with a reputable flooring supplier that actually values customers instead of hiding behind vague policies and poor communication.

The Hedge End Trade Park branch mistreats its staff and has such a high turnover in staff you cannot get good customer service. A family member of mine worked there and still has not had any pay for the time he was there, the Management does not respond and to be honest this company simply exploits its staff. Will be taking further to ACAS but I’d never recommend shopping at this company!!

From beginning to end service was professional and friendly. Price was very reasonable and the fitter was brilliant. I recommend this company 💯

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Visited the shop late February to discuss flooring in our shared flats hallways. We have still not been able to get this booked in. Manager doesn’t answer the phone or emails. Says he’ll call back and doesn’t. Very frustrating and really disappointing.

We ordered from floor giants Cardiff and had superb service. I cannot recommend it enough. Paul rang us every step of the way and even got us a refund on over ordered floor. He was polite, charming and helpful and needs recognition for his customer service. The floor fitter did a grand job also, what a nice man.

Decent price, helpful lady served me but a little confusion witj other staff when we collected flooring.

Horrible Sales service and no substantive response to a reasonable complaint (Scam)

I am sharing my experience so other customers can be cautious before buying from Floor Giants / Floor Giants Swansea.

I placed order "03413-002-0010" for laminate flooring and related flooring products. Shortly after delivery, I raised a concern on 8 March 2026 that the laminate did not click/interlock properly. I also had video evidence showing the issue. My fitter declined to install the laminate because, in his professional opinion, it was not suitable for installation.

Floor Giants replied and said that if the product was found to be faulty, they would arrange an appropriate refund, but that the affected packs first needed to be inspected. Following their request, I took sample laminate packs to the Swansea store on 11 April 2026 and left them with staff. On 16 April 2026, Floor Giants said they had inspected the laminate and had not identified a fault.

However, I was not given any written inspection report, photographs, video evidence, details of how many boards or packs were inspected, or any clear explanation of the inspection method. I do not think simply saying “we inspected it and found no fault” is enough when a customer has provided video evidence and a professional fitter refused to install the product.

To resolve the matter reasonably, I proposed an exchange/refund arrangement for unopened packs and asked for a written calculation. I followed up several times, including on 20 April, 23 April, 29 April and 1 May 2026. Despite this, I did not receive a substantive written response resolving the issue.

My main concern is not only the product problem, but the lack of proper communication and after-sales support. Once there was a dispute, I felt I was left without a clear answer, without proper evidence of the inspection, and without a fair resolution.

Based on my experience, I would advise customers to be very careful, keep all correspondence in writing, take photos/videos immediately, and make sure any return, exchange or complaint is confirmed clearly before relying on it.

Even as I heard a similar experince from a friend, Floor Giants manipulates with their Google review, because if a company is positive about their product why only 10% is allowed and tell this strange policy to customers during transaction!

Very disappointing experience that I never had before.

AVOID!!! Disgusted! Be very careful when ordering flooring from this company that you are advised of the no return and restocking charge's policy, this company robbed me of over £200 because I changed an order and was not told on day of purchase that it was a special, or that there were no returns. Despite complaining about this, and the lack of information provided, they refused to repay the difference. Will never use this company again and would advise people to avoid! One angry customer

The store in Nottingham had a wide amount of choice but no customer service whatsoever. Went in twice, once not even acknowledged and the second time at the beginning of April (another store was shut) we was given wrong information. Which if we had purchased from here would of left us out of pocket in a long run. Disappointed to say the least.
