Flutegandharvas Reviews

It normally takes 2-3 years for anyone to learn a musical instrument. Thanks to Harsh Sir we all had played flute in 6 months.
Every mentor in the group is very friendly and everyone teaches to clear the basics in a comprehensive way.
The finest thing of the group is most of the members are working professionals and the preliminary goals can be achieved by practicing 15-20 minutes on daily basis.
In addition, one thing I must tell to the new learners : If you have any problem related to your spinal cord, please be careful on your posture.

The journey was so much interesting from the beginning to end of the session. I had never thought that I will play the flute. But after the foundation course i feel proud of myself. Thank you so much for proper guidance and support and for your encouragement to do an extraordinary ordinary work beyond the comfort zone. Recording classes help me lot for learning.
Request from a student (me)-
1- There should be content like ek gun, dogun layakari, aalap , taan on any one raag in foundation course.
2- After completion of foundation course there should be intermediate course and advance course separately with separate price band. But there are diamond membership which is at very high price which cannot affordable for many students.

So far, the experience has been great. From a complete novice, I have been able to play some very basic tunes. All along, mentors provided support and corrected mistakes.
I intend to go along further into this magical journey with Flute Gnadharvas.

The entire system to teach and hand hold enthusiastic learner is highly appreciable.
All mentors are very humble and easily approachable. The use of technology and regular rigor on practice makes it perfect.

Well-structured and taught capsule programme, with all available resources both online and offline.
Online teachings of Harsh Masterji and further availability of recordings and practice sessions provide a valuable learning experience.
The micro-learning process and ready availability of Mentors, individual care and feedback assistance further the progress of learning.
The recordings of Harsh master ji help with continuous revision and practice, to improve flute performance.
Great flute music learning experience with flute Gandharvas steered by Harsh Master ji.

I have never played any music instrument in my over 67 years of life. I came across Harsh ji's reel on Instagram, in which he says that even if a person was playing the flute for the first time, he or she would be able to play some simple songs in 3 months time. I was intrigued enough to attend Harsh ji's live master class.

Harsh ji in his master class defined the learning objectives clearly. The three months were broken into week-wise learning modules and (to put it in management terms) SMART goals. I can say with confidence, that after the master class, each person who joined Flute Gandharva's knew what their progress could be in their learning journey.

And, so began the classes. Harsh ji always conducts them. Right from explaining the basics of music theory, to the intrinsic logic of each composition, and breaking down the learning process to each line, and further to each fragment of each line, he makes it very easy to grasp.

The Flute Gandharvas mentor team then takes over to extend support to the learner. Harsh ji has trained the mentors so well that each of the mentors offer tremendous reinforcement to the swara practice, alankar or composition that Harsh ji has taught in his session.

I began by making shrill noises on the flute. I practiced for at least 40-45 minutes each day, and on some days for more time (reminder: I have never played any kind of music instrument before. Also, despite not being a smoker, I have a fair amount of lung damage and hence needed more practice). At the end of each week, however, I was able to discern my own improvement. And as Harsh ji, promised, I am now able to play a few simple songs, and a few Hindustani classical compositions to taal. My experience was so fulfilling that I am continuing my music journey with Flute Gandharvas, under Harsh ji’s tutelage.

One unique feature: the Flute Gandharvas web site and phone app, that is open to learners. On the web site / app:

1. Learners can post videos of his/her playing the flute to obtain feedback. The feedback rates the learner on swara clarity, notation and taal, so that one knows what to improve on.
2. There is a treasure trove of learning resources. It literally has hundreds of videos, to help a learner to practice swaras, alankars, playing with taal, improving clarity, light music with notations and many more.
3. Learners can connect to a community of learners, at various stages of learning, from whom we can learn and also derive encouragement in our own journey.

To every music enthusiast out there, who may exhibit talent or feel that they do not have any: my message is simple. Join this program. It is an enormously enriching experience that will change your life for the better!

I am really thankful to Harsh Dave Sir and FG mentors. First time I made a correct decision my life is Learning Flute. I am Blessed ....
# to be part of Flute Gandharvas Community and #also mentored by Harsh Sir and His Team. Thank You Flute Gandharvas 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

It was difficult for me to learn an instrument classically. But guidance of Harsh sir and my mentor made this possible. I am happy in family of flute gandharva.

Great experience with flute Gandharvas family. Best learning experience with us. Specially thanks harsh sir

Extremely grateful to Harsh sir for giving opportunity to learn music from their comfort zone.

Very much structured course, any one can follow easily. Hard work is needed.

I am a current learner who has currently enrolled from Bangalore for The July batch and I have attended the hackathon batch of July 20th 2025. However, I missed the live batch of 22nd July and the recordings were never to be found on the portal and when contact them over the phone, they make it busy.

Generic replies on emails as well. Their support team is pathetic.

I was sceptical of learning online however due to passion for learning flute I registered for the 3 months course and post the course have upgraded my membership… very happy with the process laid down by harsh sir and after following the process diligently am able to play the side flute decently.
Pls go ahead if u have the passion and patience to follow the process… sir and team provide very good support through the course

I joined Flute Gandharvas after tried learning from YouTube and also have very short period experience with offline teachers, trust me Flute Gandharvas is the number 1 coaching community for learning flute. I was unable to learn flute since 25 years because of not getting proper guidance, but in Flute Gandharvas within 3 months now able to play some Classical Ragas and songs. Harsh Sir is great teacher, where he has designed flute coaching in a very systematic way. There will be live classes in which Harsh Sir himself will sing, play and teach how to play each modules. He has designed course in a such a way where any person without any knowledge of music and any age group can learn by just practicing. Course is designed like required topics will be taught whenever required so that beginners are not overwhelmed. Apart from live classes there are practice & Q&A classes from Mentors who will clarify our queries, correct our mistakes and guide us in complete learning in a great way with patience. Main advantage here is all the live classes with be recorded and will be available to us in the app, so who couldn't join live classes can learn by going through recorded classes at their convenience. Also, if anyone is good & wants to learn flute in quicker pace, complete flute videos are available in the app. I suggest if anyone is looking for flute classes blindly join Harsh Sir's Flute Gandharvas. I have received all my flutes within estimated time with good professional quality. I have seen people with 60+, 70+, 80+ also learning flute here. One more thing Sir will teach beginning with straight flute so that it will easy for beginners. I am very happy and fortunate to find and join Flute Gandharvas. Please don't trust if few negative reviews are there and don't post negative reviews, as it will not be good to spread negative about a excellent and genuine coaching and necessary people will miss the wonderful opportunity. I thank Harsh sir and all the mentors from bottom of my heart 🙏.

Initially I doubted the effectiveness of an online music course since I strongly believed only in offline classes wherein the students get personal attention from the instructors. But, team flute gandharvas and Harsh sir had proved me wrong.
This course is so well structured that people of any strata , age, profession, from any location can pursue with ease. The course has recordings which ensures that you remain updated and current even when you couldn't attend the scheduled classes in live.
In my profession, I don't get to know my disposition for the next day. Yet I am current and at pace with my batchmates just because of the way the course is structured.
For all those who are in doubt wrt the genuineness of this platform, just be assured that you have hooked onto the right shackles which will ensure you will reach success in the journey of learning flute.

I had never played any musical instrument before, so was a bit skeptical, when I joined the Flute Gandharva foundation course.

After joining, I realized how thoughtfully the course has been designed. The way that Harsh Dave sir is able to explain and guide was truly amazing. Also the mentors assigned for practice classes and clarification calls were excellent.

Harsh Dave ji kept on guiding and inspiring us, due to which I fell in love with Flute, and am able to complete the course. This 14-week course journey was an amazing experience for me, and I feel so happy to learn to play the flute now.

A big thanks to Harsh Dave Sir, all mentors and all the support staff working in the background

For the past two years, I had been searching for a good online platform to learn the flute. But as they say, the right things happen at the right time. I’m immensely grateful to have come across a video of Harsh Sir on Facebook. I joined his masterclass, and in that very moment, I knew—this is exactly what I had been looking for.
Without a second thought, I enrolled in the Foundation Course, and my flute-learning journey began on 24th February 2025. Today, I’m proud to share that I’ve successfully completed the Foundation level.
The journey hasn’t always been easy, but the unwavering support and motivation from the Flute Gandharva team—especially Harsh Sir—made all the difference. Their encouragement ensures that no learner ever feels like giving up.

This is the best place to learn flute for those who haven't touched a flute in their lives. Their syllabus is perfect for all age groups and it's very precise with solid structure for learning. The practice sessions and QnA sessions are so beneficial. Harsh sir with his many decades of experience, still helps everyone to push themselves harder. I surely am recommending Flute Gandharvas to all flute lovers.
