Mike from Flyp has been excellent in assisting with property sales and is great to work with. I would recommend them every time.

We’ve recently listed our apartment with Flyp and have been so impressed by their management and services. Our home has been maintained beautifully and every time we’ve come home to use it, it’s immaculate, and always ready for our stay.

I signed up with Flyp after being shown a financial model that projected strong rental yield and a sale valuation of over £1.3 million—figures presented as realistic and “conservative.” Within a month, the projected valuation dropped by £100,000, and actual rental income came in at less than 50% of their projections.

Despite assurances that I would receive monthly income from rental profits, I received nothing. All proceeds were directed toward Flyp’s renovation balance, completely contradicting the income-sharing structure I was shown in their model.

I had also made it explicitly clear that the flat should be configured as a two-bedroom to optimise returns. Their designer ignored this and delivered a one-bedroom plus office, with no commercial justification—resulting in reduced rental performance.

Most concerning was the suggestion to proceed with short-letting (Airbnb-style) despite building restrictions. When I raised this, I was told we could “be tactful” and only change approach if building management noticed—placing me at legal and leasehold risk without my consent.

I will now have to escalated the matter to the Property Redress Scheme. I regret trusting the process and would urge others to demand written guarantees and seek independent legal and financial advice before signing anything.

Having multiple estate agents involved in the sale process seemed to help access a wider audience, and though only one of the agents engaged with buyers to make offers, knowing that others were making viewings and that there was that potential, I think helped overall, and we made the sale!

Jess and the transformation team at FLYP did a fabulous job. The process was easy, quick and efficient. The results speak for themselves. Our house was empty and looked tired and in need of a good spruce up. Now it looks modern and loved. The kitchen revamp blew my mind.. I wish I had done it. years ago. Thank you

Flyp did an excellent job on staging my house so that it looked immaculate for the sale. They shortlet the property while it was on the market and dealt with any repair issues very efficiently. Finally they secured a very attractive commission rate with multiple agents and we had a good result with an offer over the asking price which has now completed. Everyone I dealt with was charming and very communicative, and I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic Service with Great Results!

I recently hired Flyp to refurbish my property in preparation for selling, and I must say, my experience has been quite disappointing. While I had high hopes for their service, I found the communication to be lacking, which made the entire process frustrating.

They rented the property out whilst it was on the market they charged me a 40% management fee which is never clearly stated before contracts are signed. If any problems occurred in the property they charged ridiculous amounts to fix. For example the toilet was blocked from someone they rented to, it leaked to the downstairs. They charged me £850 to unblock a toilet then I had to pay for the ceiling in the below flat to be painted as they wouldn’t take responsibility.

From the start, it was difficult to get clear updates on the progress of the work.When I did manage to reach out, responses were slow and sometimes vague, leaving me more confused than informed. I was told the furniture was mine to keep numerous times kind of making the high price tag more acceptable but obviously that wasn’t the case once you read the small print.

Additionally, I was shocked by the amount I was charged for the work that was completed. The quality and extent of the refurbishment did not match the hefty price tag. I expected a more substantial transformation for what I paid, but it felt like minimal effort was put into the project.
I have lost a lot of money using this company they are still chasing me for a small amount if money I refuse to pay even though they have had over 15k from me, for a refurbishment that my 94 year old Nan could do better. I tried to reason and come to solution but it is all one way, just money hungry.

Overall, I would not recommend Flyp if you're looking for reliable communication and value for your investment. It’s disappointing to see such potential wasted, and I regret choosing them for my property refurbishment.

I had to redo most of the work, so it cost me double please be careful before instructing this company.
