My first purchase with them,just starting with trains again after around 50+years,the delivery was quick,the engine itself was very well packed,and after a little hiccup it runs lovely,very impressed with the service and have already made another order,excellent.

I was having to sell my deceased father's O Gauge items. The communication was simple with Richard at Footplate and (in my opinion) fair.
The logistics of getting everything to them was again, made easier by their tried and tested methods.
I purchased some items for my own OO gauge, which arrived promptly.

I have purchased from Footplate on a couple of occasions, the first time there were problems sourcing the model but the communication and efficiency in arranging a refund was excellent. Second time around the time between placing the order and delivery was just over 48 hours which I doubt could be bettered. Fantastic service all round!

Had an email from Footplate, Friday morning, had a look through and purchased 2x Railfreight 56’s - arrived Monday 20th, absolutely stunning and 100% description, 2 locos for under £100, you can’t get better than that!!

The model arrived within three days of placing the order. I currently don't have a working layout at home and rely on my model railway club to run my locos. Unfortunately, there was a technical problem with their layout, and I will have to wait for the issue to be resolved. Watch this space!

I purchased an O Gauge model from 'Footplate' and was really pleased with the 1st class level of service !!
The model was delivered next working day, and came extremely well packaged - this is always a worry with such delicate models, but the model was fully protected.
I will definitely be buying from these people again.
