Being able to reach Formlabs support over the phone instantly with no questions asked is peak customer service and so rare these days.

Reps dispatch fixes because they know customers depend on their machines for commercial operations. If they don’t know something, they look it up and never waste your time.

Keep up the great work Formlabs!

Very long time between order and receipt of order. Had to call to find out what happened and was told there was a fraud issue. The order was paid for on the date I ordered the resin. There was confusion about the shipping to address. After I made multiple phone calls about the shipping address being wrong on the invoice, I received a tracking notice and the address on the notice was to the wrong address. Another phone call latter I was assured the package was going to the correct address. It did finally arrive about 20 days after I placed the order. Not to encouraging.

The new part arrived promptly, and the problem was fixed. Thanks to Devon on the support team.

The ordering process was easy and the delivery was fast.

As always, Formlabs support were prompt, courteous and professional. They walked me through diagnosing my problem and the repair.

My experience was great. The technical representatives was very helpful and replied in a timely manner. Our ussue has been fixed and back to production.

Each order had something wrong. Spilled resin broken resin container, missing power supply cable. Just didn't feel very professional and like care was taken with these products.

It there is no all items in the new system and the new warehouse release incomplete orders without tell with us.

We received excellent support to help us resolve an issue we were having with our Form 4L. They were quick to respond and send us replacement parts. The support team was great.
Their support makes us even more likely to purchase more products from them in the future.

My company urges me to order and pay via 30Day net. The problem is that the method takes an additional 2-3 days to process the order. And multiple orders have come in wrong and I had to take pictures of the wrong order, send them back to FL's, and then get them back to UPS so that I can then, days later, get the correct order. Because of this, I order using my personal credit card so that I can get my order processed in a shorter time which results in the correct order getting shipped to me. Then I have to hear my company reprimand me for not using the 30 days net. FormLabs uses a horrible logistics company. I think it's Omni still??

I'm an expert in 3D printers. I've had the Formlab 4 for a month now, and the quality and tolerances don't live up to the marketing or the price. I feel ripped off. I bought it to support the US industry, but unfortunately, I'll buy another printer, this time from China. I've already thrown it in the trash. I wouldn't dare sell it secondhand. Shame on you, Formlab!

I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase. The customer service team has been incredibly helpful, and I truly appreciate their support. I look forward to getting another Form 4 as our manager continues to scale up the business.

After spending more than $25,000, I’m very disappointed with this machine. It worked fine for a few prints at the beginning, but since then, achieving consistent, high-quality results has become stressful and unreliable.

Customer service has been practically nonexistent. Instead of helping solve problems, they usually suggest buying more of their expensive replacement parts, such as resin tanks, just to get the printer running again.

The resins themselves are outrageously priced, and Formlabs locks you into their ecosystem. you can’t use affordable third-party alternatives. Even after spending a small fortune on the printer, you’re forced to keep paying inflated prices for resin. To make matters worse, their software’s resin usage estimates are completely inaccurate. If it says one liter will print five parts, expect to get two at best.

In the end, we started ordering 3D-printed parts from China, and even with shipping included, they cost less than producing them on the Form 3. The printer has been sitting unused for nearly a year now.

It’s frustrating to admit, but there are many Chinese printers available for a tenth of the price that perform just as well or even better.
