I used founder catalyst when we raised our first funding round. I had never raised before and didn’t know much about the field. Sam and his team were incredibly help. You can store all documents in the founder catalyst which organises everything for you. There is also a community WhatsApp which is amazing for all questions start up wise - I found our tech team from a recommendation in there. I would really highly recommend founder catalyst.

My experience running an EIS raise with FounderCatalyst has been hands down the most straightward of any platform or service to which I've ever been exposed (and that's a fair few). Sam, the Founder, has an immense knowledge and has transformed what was historically been a soul crushing and costly gauntlet to navigate into a streamlined and efficience process at a price point that any small business would appreciate (a fraction of every other option and worth every penny). We were given priceless guidance on our EIS advance assurance application which was duly approved by HMRC within just a few days. We then progressed from a position of having no shareholder agreement and needing funds on-board quite quickly to a full suite of legal docs for the raise, emailed term sheets to all investors and a draft shareholder agreement (the FounderCatalyst fee is less than what I've paid in the past just for a draft of a shareholder agreement!). As a result, we quickly regained our financial confidence in the future of the business with the help of Sam & co. Could not recommend more highly.

FounderCatalyst made it simple for me to apply for HMRC SEIS Advance Assurance and set up my funding round. Using helpful templates provided by FounderCatalyst, I spent a few weeks refining my pitch deck and forecast. Once I was ready, it took less than an hour to get everything online and submitted to HMRC. I hit submit at 11am on a Thursday and by 9am the following Monday, I had the good news from HMRC!
