Awesome service with PJ
There was a mishap where when I rejoins Freshly a 2nd subscription was activated and I was confused when I had a random order of food arrive. PJ helped to sort it all out and get me on track by canceling one subscription and helping me place a correct order with my existing subscription and my preferred meals. It was very quick and they were super helpful.

Tasty but NOT healthy
Decided to give them a try as sometimes we just need something quick (no cooking required). The food is very tasty - however, i'm SO disappointed with the Total Fat and especially, the Saturated Fat content :( Out of the 8 meals I ordered, the majority of them had 9g!! of Saturated Fat - that is NOT healthy. I'd love to be able to continue ordering, but will likely not order these again.

Good flavors, room for improvement
I switched to Freshly from a competitor because the flavors of the competitor's meals were all so similar and not very flavorful. Freshly, is much better than the other provider with flavor profiles; each is distinct and you have a range of flavors to choose from. However, I probably won't stay with FNL because the quality of ingredients is less than their competitor; using low quality oils (eg: canola), not consistently organic, where its easy to do. Additionally, FNL is somewhat limited in meals that match my eating preferences; GF, dairy free, with lots of veggies, a bit of animal protein (or more plant protein) and minimal empty calories, such as white rice, pasta and potatoes. Some of those carbs are good, but how about brown rice, brown rice pasta and if you use potatoes keep skins on. I'd pay more for healthier ingredients. Hope FNL makes some changes, I'd like to stay for the good flavors. Thanks for trying, hope you improve!

Disappointing, especially for vegetarians
I found Freshly really disappointing. They have so many options - if you eat meat. If you're vegetarian, you have to order the same meals over and over again, which I was sick of after just 2 weeks; and they only add 1-2 new options each month. The food was inconsistent - the distribution of ingredients was sometimes way off, with thick slices of onion making up 50% of the falafel bowl multiple times. The food itself was either bland or strange-tasting, with odd ingredients sometimes added to things (like butternut squash and carrots making the marinara sauce taste nothing like tomatoes). I often ended up with meals I didn't want to eat because it forces you to finalize the next week's order before you have a chance to try the current week's meals. We had been super excited to have quick, healthy lunches each day, but ended up discontinuing the service after a few weeks.

Expired food
I had a bunch of food delivered on Sunday then expire on Tuesday. I had ordered meals for the whole week so obviously that math doesn't work out. I asked customer service for a refund for the expired meals and was offered $5 coupon for future orders instead. I cancelled and would recommend avoiding, unless you like expensive expired food.
