Fresh and Lean Customer service is top notch

John was extremely helpful in explaining the issue I had. Every time I have communicated with customer service I have received great service. To a person, each has been knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Over my 4 years as a customer, there have been periodic problems with the content or timing of my deliveries which have been fairly and promptly addressed by customer service agents. Thank you! Worse costumer service (for the company…

Worse costumer service (for the company for the employee) after 17 days of tries I got only 20% refund of meals I never received. They don’t answer the phone, don’t call back neither answer the email “in time” to cancel extra billings (neither let you cancel inside the website)

Nice but way too long of a wait...

Once I got John on the CHAT-he was nice and handled the problem for me. However, I had to wait over an hour in CHAT before someone began working on the issue. I will say, it did not take that long for you to set me up as a customer and take my money for each delivery...you should have more customer service folks available for CHAT.

Good Customer Service

I received a few meals that I didn't order. After I chatted with a representative, they credited my account for the incorrect meals. I appreciate the support and their willingness to help!

For my first shipment, I got 7 delicious looking meals. However, I never got to eat them. My shipment never arrived. When I contacted customer service, they said they would reship my box within the same week, which was annoying but a fine solution. When I got the new box, six out of seven of the meals were meals that I did not select (that I would NEVER have selected). They included two meals with fish, which I do not eat, and the other four meals are meals I will have to force down because they are not to my taste or liking. Not so much as a sorry from the company after reaching out to them to discuss the matter at hand. Unprofessional and from the one meal I tried, not very good food. But to be fair, the meal I tried is not one I would have ever selected for myself so maybe that's not fair to say.

RATING MY EXPERIENCE WITH CHAT WITH EXPERT "AND" TRACKING PROCESS

I have yet to receive my first delivery, which is upcoming 6-29-24, so I cannot comment on that delivery or the food, but attempting to track my order's delivery included my knowing my ACCOUNT #, which I tried to find in the obvious place: under ACCOUNT. To my surprise it's NOT THERE. I used Chat and he gave me my ACCOUNT # and said I could find it under MYDASHBOARD instead. I DID let him know how strange that the ACCOUNT # is NOT under ACCOUNT. He said he would pass on my concern. However once I had my ACCOUNT # & followed thru w/process, I only got put to another CHAT, which was unable to find a representative available to chat w/me, so sent me to EMAIL instead, after which I did send the email just asking for an tracking update. Then I received an email back...giving me the very same info. I already used to get my tracking update, which is sending me right back to the beginning where I started to try to get the update. Merry-go-round. I am rating this 4 stars for the information Matthew gave me, but if I were to rate the Tracking process, I would give it a 2 star, am afraid.

Let me order meals, confirmed my meals then didn't send.

Let me order meals, I ordered meals on June 14, They confirmed my meal delivery for June 22 and I have that email. I skipped June 29 so they didn't auto send food without me having a chance to try my first order. They canceled the order that was supposed to be delivered on the 22nd and never told me they canceled that. I skipped my order with another well known heat and eat service so I could try Fresh n Lean so now I have no food this week. Skipping a future never affects the current week anywhere else. After you give your CC numbers it's supposed to be near impossible to get that order canceled. That is the whole reason they make you give your CC numbers up front before you even pick you meals! That was clearly an error and one that I wasn't prepared for. I sent a copy of the email to customer service who said they would have it investigated and someone would get back to me. I haven't heard anything since. Now it's too late for me to get a food delivery with any of the other services I use and even if I gave Fresh N Lean another chance I lost my discount coupon to try them out in this fiasco and they aren't shipping again till July 9.

Run in the opposite direction

Haven’t receive my order and have not been able to get ahold of customer service. We’re new parents and relied on these meals to be delivered on time.

I’m going back to Cook Unity - they always deliver on time and their customer service is much, much better.

Of course, I’ve been automatically charged for next week! When you read this, please make sure that order is cancelled.

Food content, pricing, delivery, and customer service are great. Out of maybe 50 boxes received, I've only had one hiccup, and my customer support experience was prompt, understanding, and helped resolve my issues quickly and with no hassle. 10/10.

Hard to cancel and pause no response

I travel a lot for work. Would go to pause the deliveries and they would not let you pause unless it was scheduled way way out. The meals weren't shipped so plenty of time to pause as I gave days before the ship date. So I threw out whole weeks worth of food several times.
If you send them an email , they never respond till after your food ships. That way they bill you...

Cancelled my script a week before next shipment. Guess what?! They billed me and shipped anyway.
And again. No response on email....
Except to pay more at the end than simply cancel anytime like their add says...

One star service !!

Due to the nature of the business and preparing meals fresh each week, we do have to allow time to select meals along with time for our kitchen to prepare each meal fresh which causes for our dates to be 7-10 prior to the actual delivery. Horrible experience

Our box came 2 days late and with the side of the box taped up, as if it came apart. The food was warm and the plastic was filled with air. Contacted customer service thur email and phone. They say they are receiving high number of complaints and issues so responses are delayed. Still have not got reply from email. Took hours to finally reach a human on the phone. Never expressed any concern about how there were sorry this happened. I got alot of dead silence while on the call. I had to ask are you still there multiple times. I got half my money back. So now i have to connect my credit card to get all my money back. Ridiculous. It was shipped from Pennsylvania and I live in Ohio? So I don't understand. I hope this was only my experience. Horrible business and buys beware.

Awful Tasting Meals-Unedible

Meals taste horrible as they are often overwhelmed by spices used. Customer service is awful. Don't waste your money.

The package was late and damaged, and hot.

The package was late, but I was already refunded. When it did come, the boxes were dented and bent. When I opened the box, it was only half full and the items looked as if they were just thrown in the box. The cool packs were hot as were the food items. This is my first shipment with Fresh N Lean. Not a good first impression. We'll see how #2 goes but we're pretty much done with this crap.

Not perfect, but great nonetheless

**EDIT 7/7/2024**: Meals failed to deliver on time for second week in a row (i.e. now I have no meals for the second week in a row). Tried to get in touch with customer support via phone to ask for refund and waited in line for 1hr 37m and no one ever picked up. It's clear they're just avoiding customers who simply are asking for a refund. They've lost a customer and I'm going with a different company who can deliver on time. Probably not F&N's fault - then again, their blatant advertising on their boxes that do nothing for the customer (if you catch my drift...) - may be to blame as they use UPS as of writing.

In the past year of using Fresh 'n Lean, 4-5 orders arrived with several missing meals (is it difficult to count to 14?) and 1 time an order arrived warm, late, with all meals spoiled. On the latter issue, Matthew C. was very helpful in remediating the issue. On the other issues, they only credited my account once... I'd like those credited (if they had responded to my previous emails!).

High quality organic meals, although the steaks they use for their meals are (always) VERY tough and stringy (avoid them if you have dentures!). Overall though, I feel great eating them and recommend for the quality and convenience. Solid 4 stars.
